Reflected Glory

‘IT has long been acknowledged to be the case that celebrities go out in public wearing hats and sunglasses to ensure that members of the public recognise them.

”Know who I am yet?”

What could be more humiliating than walking down a busy street with no hint of disguise and not getting even a passing comment, let alone being inundated with requests for autographs?

And we get proof this morning from Prince Harry, pictures of whom splashing around in the surf at the Queensland resort of Noosa adorn the Telegraph.

”He went down for a swim about midday with three bodyguards and a couple of local girls,” an onlooker said.

”He went in the water a couple of times with his mates. He even body-surfed a few waves.

”It was only when he put on those reflective sunglasses he’s worn everywhere that we noticed who it was.”

Just in case some of the Aussies hadn’t got the message that they were in the presence of Royalty, Harry then put a crown on his head and a giant spliff in his mouth.’
