Someone’s sister

There is, of course, only one Lucy Pinder, the model who was discovered bathing on Bournemouth beach last summer.

But the Star is greedy for more, and today launches its nationwide search for a beach babe.

‘Gorgeous bikini-clad girls came out in force at the weekend,’ says the Star, with an obvious nod and leer to Michelle, ‘but now your talent-spotting Daily Star is going to make temperatures soar.’

The paper is standing on top of the sea wall, peering down through a telephoto lens at the acres of bare flesh and looking for someone to excite its readers.

And the good news is that ‘it could be your girlfriend, sister - or even you’ they’re looking at.

Are we alone in finding something distasteful in sending in pictures of your sister to be photographed topless and nearly naked?

Clearly we are, and we should not allow our prudishness to stop a dream coming true for our sisters, mothers, aunts and grandmothers - just as it came true for Lucy.

So come on, girls, get ‘em, out for the Star - and your brothers, husbands, sons, grandsons, nephews…’
