Used to not having her man all to herself, Camilla appears ideally suited to being the King’s wife No.14.

Alternatively, as the Times reports, the African king may opt for more powerful horse power than even Camilla can muster and go for another car to add to his already impressive fleet of vehicles.

The paper says that the man who reigns in a country where 40% of the population live below the poverty line has just taken delivery of a new Mercedes S600 stretch limousine.

And very nice it is too. But you’ll have to take our word for it because the king has banned anyone from taking a photo of his new car.

A royal decree published in The Times of Swaziland says people are forbidden from taking snaps of the king as he alights from his car.

What will happen if a Swazi photographer takes a snapshot is not revealed.

They may succumb to unusual and hideous punishment – but how worse can life get for the 39% of the king’s subjects infected with HIV?

The king, however, seems not overly perturbed by his people’s suffering and has announced that he plans to spend £450,000 on the purchase of ten BMW 5 series cars for his stable of wives.

This is no small sum and equates to almost half the £1m aid the UK sent his kingdom last year.

It all paints a picture of a spoilt and cosseted life. But it could be worse.

Imagine if he was like our own Prince Andrew. Imagine if he played golf…’
