‘EVER since we learnt of the affair between the boss of Boeing and a female employee of the firm, we’ve been scratching our heads.

Stonecipher showcases Boeing’s new ”Pocket Rocket”

Besides wondering how a mere affair can lead to a man losing his $1.1 million-a-year job at the aircraft manufacturers, we marvelled at Harry Stonecipher.

Never mind the rights and wrongs of the company’s straight-laced code of conduct, which married Stonecipher is said to have breached, here was a 68-year-old man at the helm of a huge corporation blessed with the time and energy to have an affair.

And who was the women with whom he’d dallied with by the water cooler?

Well, here she is, folks, revealed by the Telegraph as one Debra Peabody, a 48-year-old divorcee who worked as the firm’s chief government lobbyist.

She is still on the Boeing payroll, although her “position is said to be under review”. And no longer under Mr Stonecipher…’
