Fame At Last

by | 7th, June 2005

‘ANORAK has achieved fame. And we didn’t have to sing on TV and flash our knickers on Big Brother to be noticed.

In last weekend’s Sunday Times (5 June 2005), we read: “Anorak is another gem: it ‘keeps tabs on the tabloids’, providing witty summaries of all the news, gossip and sport that the day’s tabloids saw fit to print.”

In an article on how websites are just as likely to attract readers and break stories as the corporate-owned newspapers, magazines and television channels, Anorak featured highly.

The site was tipped as one of the best alternative news sources on the web. In a list of 17 of the best alternative news sources, Anorak was mentioned third, above such non-corporate entities as, er, msn and google.

But we can only carry on and thrive with your help. So, tell others to read the site. Get your company to post the copy on their intranets. Petition your portal to put Anorak on its news homepage.

Hire us as writers to give your site some pep, to write your copy, to give you a presence on the web.

All of our fine work is available for syndication. And we are available for hire.

Give them something they actually want to read!
