All White On The Night

‘THE Moore-Kutcher wedding was just great. But what about the important thing: what did they wear?

Well, for the wedding Ashton dipped his body into a cream coloured suit, his feet into a pair of suede shoes and topped off his outfit with a “stephanotis boutonniere with sterling silver” (most of us shy away from wearing things we can’t pronounce, but not Ashton). And stuck his head into a cream straw Borsalino hat.

Demi wore a silk wedding gown, grey shoes and held a bunch of hand-wired stephanotis and phalaenopsis orchids.

Both Ashton and Demi looked just terrific, and blended seamlessly into the colour scheme of ivory, cream and white. The chameleons were so at one with the scene that they seem to merge first together and then into the huge vanilla cake they are pictured cutting.

What colour was in evidence was provided by the post-ceremony food. Treats like the wasabi caviar with crème fresh on purple potatoes, tuna tartar and the seared beef with quince paste with mint.

All of which might have been in keeping with what OK! calls “Kabbalah tradition”.

Which is a bit like Jewish tradition, but shot in black and white and with a side order of bacon…’
