Hav-a Good Time

‘WE have no desire to put a damper on Christina Aguilera’s wedding to Jordan Bratman, but get a load of this part of OK!’s front-page teaser: “PLUS INTIMATE FIRST WEDDING PICURE.”

Two chairs for the happy couple

Yes, intimate pictures of Christina’s “first” wedding. Which implies, does it not, that the singer will get a taste for dressing in white and marry again.

But before OK! can bring the world intimate snaps from Christina’s second, third and even fourth weddings, it wants to show us what happened at the reception of her premier big day.

Here comes Christina now. She’s being carried around the reception tent on a chair.

The music is a hip-hop rendition of the traditional Jewish wedding dance Hava Nagila – something like “hav-a, hav-a, hav-a good time, muvvaf***a!”

Now she’s been lowered down and wants to tell us that the wedding can be summed up in just one word. Confused? Tacky? No, silly: “magical.”

“The best part of the weekend,” says Christina, “was that you could feel how much warmth and love was in the room – there was definitely a sacred spirituality in the air.”

How could the guests fail to be stirred as they looked up at Christina on her dancing chair – and up her short white dress…’
