Stretching The Truth

Sensation indeed. And made no less newsworthy when we do as the Enquire does and insert an exclamation mark after that “INSIDE!”.

Moving inside – the magazine, not Katie Holmes – we see the “BELLY EMBARRASSING!” picture.

Out at a Beverly Hills baseball game with Tom Cruise, there to watch his son Connor, Katie stands with the other mums and dads.

So engrossed is she in the match that she fails to spot a) a photographer approaching; and b) her top riding up over her waist.

The result is so much shock and horror.

But what if these are not stretch marks scrawled over Kate’s stomach but lay lines, a kind of landing strip for space craft?

We cannot be certain, but taking a magnifying glass to her tummy, we are drawn towards an area that looks not too dissimilar to terminal two at JFK Airport…
