Big things are planned for Anorak.

But we cannot do it alone. This is your chance to get involved.

We are looking for new contributors.

Anorak needs you to send in local news items. Anorak’s Local News For Local People will feature cuttings and stories from the local press.

And keeping things local, we want you to send in flyers and assorted missives from your local MPs and politicos.

Scan these into your computers and send them to us via the Backlash page. Or else just send us the URL where we can see them.

We are also looking for American stringers to review the best US stories in the Anorak style.

And while we await that, we bring good news. Anorak’s sponsorship of the Thai lady’s table-tennis team has made us the No.1 website among ping-pong enthusiasts in the region.

Old Mr Anorak will soon be setting sail for Thailand, where he will once again take the ladies through their winter training camp.
