Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Marry

STUFF the vol-au-vents, unfreeze the crabsticks and get the Tennent’s Super on ice – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting married.

The Enquirer says that over dinner at their home high in the Hollywood Hills, Brad and Ange had a talk.

In the course of this deep conversation, Brad asked for Angelina’s hand in marriage. And Angelina agreed.

But why now? Brad has asked her before but the time was never been right. What’s changed? The Enquirer knows. It says that Angelina wants more children but Brad says he’ll only make them if they get hitched.

“Brad feels the children deserve parents who are married,” says a source. “He was raised in a stable, traditional way.”

Whereas, Shiloh Nouvel, the couple’s messianic creation, was more born in a stable than raised in a conventional mansion.

Of course, Angelina has down this before, having been married to actors Johnny Lee Miller and Bully Bob Thornton, respectively. Now Brad ‘Billy’ Pitt is to make it third time lucky for Ange.

Surely their love will last an eternity. But in case it doesn’t, the Enquirer says Brad and Ange first need to perform Hollywood’s traditional pre-wedding exchanging of the legal documents and assorted unpleasantries. They need a prenup.

And the Enquirer says this legal requirement will be worth $150 million. (Brad is said to be worth $100m and Angelina worth $50.)

This is big money and may require much thrashing about among suits. But we’re sure the couple can reach an agreement.

And then they can get down to discussing the important stuff – like giving the picture rights for their wedding to Anorak. For it is willed.
