Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Have Words

by | 21st, September 2006

“I TRY not to stifle [my children] in any way. If it’s not hurting anyone, I want them to be able to explore. Sometimes that means they’re quite rambunctious,” says Brad Pitt.

Brad is not speaking from a pre-written script. He is speaking unaided to Esquire magazine. And making free use of the word rambunctious.

This may very well be the kind of language Brad uses every day. Or it could be that he is taking his role of parent and educator to work with him.

Might it be that Brad is teaching his children a word a day? Today is rambunctious. Tomorrow it is misbegotten. After that estimable. And so forth, etcetera, etcetera.

Says Brad: “At night, before they go to bed, I feel it is really important to have that time to sit and talk to them.”

Indeed. To share you words of wisdom. And, naturally, your word for the day. “I really like that last minute before they fade off,” he adds.

You can imagine the scene. There’s Brad in his combat pyjamas. There’s Maddox in his.

Brad: …and that’s why their called pickled onions. Good night. Rambunctious dreams, little one.
Maddox: Rambunctiousnessious dreams, papa.
Brad: Rambunctious, son.

And very soon Brad will need to increase his world power because, as the Enquirer reports: “BRAD & ANGELINA’S BABY # 4!”

According to the magazine, sources claims that Angelina Jolie “may be in the early stages of pregnancy”. Of course, she may not be. But if she is, Brad will need to gather himself.

Producing four new words a day will be no easy matter. Rambunctiously speaking, of course…
