Annie Get Your Mum

NOT since Annie made ginger kids fashionable have orphans had it so good.

Angelina Jolie’s got two, Madonna’s getting one and now we read in the Enquirer that Bruce Willis is thinking about having himself a little Annie.

But he cannot do so alone. Sure Bruce looks like Daddy Warbucks, but he has no desire to get himself a child and a nanny to look after her.

He wants a partner. Step forward, flick your hair over your shoulder and give lots of teeth, tan and talent former Baywatch babe Brooke Burns.

As a source tells the magazine: “Bruce is determined to make his relationship with Brooke work - and adopting a boy would be a big part of their new bond.”

So Bruce, who has said he does not rule out marrying again and would like to have more kids (“I don’t know if that’s possible or not”), is looking to combine twin goals.

And, who knows, some lucky grill haired child may yet have a brighter tomorrow. And a new mummy and daddy. And maybe a nanny as well…
