Bad news for Old Mr Anorak!
‘The new Thai government, installed by military coup last September, has had enough of foreigners setting up home in Thailand illegally and pushing up property prices.
Under the previous regime, rules were lax and loopholes could be exploited. Now property laws are being tightened and the maximum stay on a tourist visa is limited to 90 days in any 180-day period (see new rules, next page).
Thousands of semi-retired Western men, once able to live indefinitely in the Kingdom of Smiles simply by making ‘visa runs’ to Cambodia every few months, have had the smiles wiped off their faces.’

regarding the new caption contest. Some questions.
1 How often will you decide a winner/runner ups?
2 Is there a prize for the winner?(or the honour of winnning?)
3 Who will choose the winner?
4 Are you happy with the response to the new caption contest?
5 Is MY winners dictionary from last August still going around the world before reaching Brazil?

One concern here (which does not worry me at all )but may be a major issue for others.
f you follow the sign on menu you eventually reach the area which shows previous comment and post. Full e-mail addresses are available for all to see at that point.
There are perhaps those who would not like this right up ‘em.??
