The votes are in and the result is… inconclusive.
Things may have to go to court. As the Enquirer says: “BUSH MARRIAGE BREAKUP – Laura demands trial separation from president!”
If only it were so easy. President Bush watchers realise the leader of the free world stays until the job is done, until the mission is accomplished.
Trouble is, Bush may think he has already down enough to secure a peaceful and lasting future with Laura. But while he hangs out the bunting, the Enquirer says Laura remains an insurgent in the marital homestead.
Laura, as is reported, has demanded a four-week trial separation from her husband of 29 years.
“Laura’s had it!” says a source. “It looks as if their marriage has reached the bitter end and they are headed for divorce.”
There is talk of distrust in Washington. To paraphrase Bush’s words, we are surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists. And we’re sorry it’s the case, and we will work hard to try to elevate it.
But we should not misunderestimate George’s problem. As the Enquirer notes, Laura is “suspicious about George’s relationship” with Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.
Laura fears that George, “a recovering alcoholic”, will fall off the wagon.
And then there is George’s reported lack of concern for his wife when she underwent treatment for skin cancer last November.
There was a row. The source tells us George stormed out of the White House. He boarded a helicopter. He headed to Camp David. He resisted the urge to let off steam by declaring war on France. He slept on it. The next day he returned to the White House.
What happens next is up to you, dear reader. Should George Bush go? Should Laura go? Should they both go? Or should they refuse to leave until the job is done, staying the course until the bitter end?

I rather like the idea of the Bush separation and potential / eventual divorce. About time Laura gets some backbone and tells the spineless leader where to go. She obviously cannot live with his lies anymore or that she has been shut up. He will be exposed, it is just a matter of time. Unfortunately it probably won’t be until after the next pres is elected so we’re stuck with him. All this craze about Afganistan again, the attention diverted away (a wee bit) from Iraq just before the priv. to withhold evidence prame/wilson… a master of manipulation. From the beginning, for almost eight years now Bush has been playing all for fools. As someone mentioned earlier on, don’t be surprised if trash tabloids have something to say.

If I were reading something that were reliable and from a reliable source, I might be prompted to respond rationally and responsibly. Such suppositions about Laura and George Bush are fanatically and riduculously insane. They are human beings and deserve to be treated as such. I am always happy when weak and utter rubbish tabloids are called to task over such cheap trash, foolish nonsense and demeaning lies.

I am very upset at Billy Boy for saying that you can’t trust a Texan. George Bush is not a Texan; he was born in Connecticut. My ancestors fought bravely in the Revolutionary War and I am a TEXAN and proud of it.
Whether or not the Bush - Laura - Condi triagle gets sorted out or not is of no consequence. What is important is that the American people concentrate on the follolwing. 1. Bring our men and women home from Iraq and let the Iraqis fight among themselves. 2. Close Quantanamo Prison and give the criminals a trial and let the innocent ones go. 3. Negotiate with the oil companies and do whatever it takes to bring down oil prices.
4. Stop the electric companies from price gouging. 5. Negotiate with the drug companies to bring down the cost of drugs.
