Who would want to be a New York City cop?
In the past few weeks two cops have been shot dead, another was stabbed in the brain and yesterday a fourth was shot in the foot. All in the line of duty.
In the latest incident, in which a cop was chasing a man smoking dope on a Brooklyn street, the cop discovered he may have been lucky that he was only shot in the foot.
The perp’s gun jammed and there were still four rounds in the pistol.
Meanwhile, the cop who was stabbed in the brain was due to walk out of hospital today just two weeks after he was struck in the head with a 6inch hunting knife that went through his skull.
As we say, who would want to be a New York City cop?
