In The Night Garden: Trip On Off To Bed
IN The Night Garden, the trippy show for babies and toddlers, is off the air.
It is not off our screens because its makers are being questioned by the boys in blue in connection with a hallucinogenic drugs caper. It is off the air because the BBC has decided it needs a break.
In The Night Garden will return in June, at which time the ankle-biters can get their fill of Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, Pinky Ponk and Igglepiggle.
Until then, we advise parents looking to induce a hypnotic-like trance in their youngsters before bed to put The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou in the DVD, shine torchlight through inflated coloured balloons and listen to the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s conversation on ‘Love’.
And relive a misspent youth…
