TONY Blair rules on a 7/7 inquiry.
From the Forums:
Writes Bill:
“Blair rules out independent 7/7 inquiry (News headline 02/05/2007)
Well, whaddya know? Nothing to do with accountability, God forbid.
Can’t spare the operatives for an inquiry, they’re needed on the ground in the fight against terrorism. Oh, O.K.”
As Tony says:
“I don’t think it would be responsible for us…to have a full, independent, further inquiry, which would simply have the security service and the police and others diverted from the task of fighting terrorism.”
Well, can you imagine the horror if a bomb went off when the officers were looking at each othere?
