Madeleine McCann: Robert Murat And More Questions
MADELEINE McCann is missing. Still missing.
But today there is news. The daily front-page shots of Madeleine’s traumatised parents are moved further within the papers to make space for the head of Robert Murat.
“MADELEINE BRITISH MAN IS QUIZZED!” says the Mirror’s front-page headline.
Robert Murat
After the speculation the paper delivers a welter of facts. Robert Murat lives with his mum. Robert Murat is in his 30s. Robert Murat lives with his mother in a villa 150 yards from the apartment where Madeleine McCann was snatched.
The Sun (“MADDIE: BRIT QUIZZED”) says Murat lives 100 yards from that McCann apartment. Like the Mirror, the Sun produces a front-page picture of “one-eyed Murat”. The Mail hears that Murat lost his eye in a BMX accident when he was a boy. The Mail says Murat lives 80 yards from Madeleine’s holiday apartment.
Murat is “stocky”. He offered to help the police hunt as a “translator”. He lives in Casa Liliana, with his mum Jenny.
The Suspect
The Sun’s Julie Moult considers the evidence. And delivers a piece entitled “stories of a fantasist”. “He always seemed so eager to get involved in the police investigation,” says the Sun’s woman–on-the-scene. “Robert claimed he had a daughter just like Madeleine and said he felt compelled to do anything he could. But to me he seemed like classic fantasist.”
The Sun introduces Martin Brunt, the crime news correspondent from its sister organ, TV’s Sky news.
He says Murat told him he’d been taken inside the McCanns’ apartment by police.
Sky news correspondent Ian Woods says he asked Murat to help him speak with locals.
“I met him and had a conversation with him. I tried to find out as much as I could about him,” says Woods, who checked out Murat’s details. “They did check out, and I left it at that for the time.”
The Mail’s Neil Sears also spots Murat. In “My encounters with a man ‘who just wanted to help’”, Sears tells Mail readers, “There was something more to the friendly expat who called himself ‘Rob’ than met the eye.”
Murat made Sears “feel slightly uncomfortable”.
But it was the Sunday Mirror’s Lori Cambell who alerted police to Murat’s behaviour, she saw as “creepy”.
Writing Wrongs
So much for investigative journalism. Questions were asked but nothing more was done. Murat is with police because he made a show of himself, because he acted as if working in an official capacity. Even though the Times says Murat was acting as “an official translator”.
So now the man in the chinos, with the glass eye, who lives with him mum and whose estranged wife, from Hockering, near Norwich, tells a neighbour “How could someone do something so terrible to little girl like that?’ is all over the papers.
Is Murat guilty? The papers produce nothing to indicate that he is. But if Murat is involved, look out for the stories of how British journalism cracked the case.
And look out for Madeleine McCann. Still missing…

NEW INFO….
New witnesses have come forward in the case of Madeleine McCann. They are claiming that the saw the prime suspect in the disappearance of the four-year old girl. “They claim they saw a man matching Murat’s description outside the Ocean Club on the night Madeleine disappeared,” a police source reportedly told the Daily Express.
The child has been missing how long now…..and these people are just NOW coming forward? That is as bad as the family friend that had dinner with them the nite Madeleine went missing….she saw a man carry a child away and didnt tell anyone for weeks AFTER Madeleine went missin?
I hate to say something is not rite with the parents….The do not seem to be greiving that their daughter is missing and dad teats it like some sort of business meeting…..I cant believe all the people making donations…for what? so the parents can continue to travel and have a holiday with the twins? Something is very wrong…..

This is a very odd case, I keep wondering why parents would take 3 small children to a different country to leave them alone while they eat dinner(did this happen all the time? could Madeleine take care of one of the twins if they woke up crying? the parents said they checked them, NOW it says that also the friends checked…but the story dont match up) If the friend that was dining with them was on the way to dinner and saw a man with a small child, then HOW could they have checked the children during dinner? Madeleine would of been GONE already. Why did she wait weeks before she told anyone? But she can remember how the man was dressed?
The parents are acting odd also, i read in one article they drugged Madeleine for sleep walking? Not sure how true that is. Also they dont seem upset(when the camera is on them i’m sure they do) but they write that they go to the zoo and the beach and fly here and take the twins to day camp, eat meals prepared by others, buy new clothes to meet with the Pope, then complain about the heat so someone got them water and an umbrella? Why are the twins still there? They should be home with gramma. Oh yes, they flew in to the UK for a baptism and came back with gramma and an aunti…who is payin for all this? The dad keeps calling it a campaign, only ONCE have i seen the mom plead for whoever has Madeleine to bring her back. The dad says he knows Madeleine is alive and being takin care of(I hope so…BUT how does he know this? ) They are asking people to donate $$$$$….for what? For them to travel around and be able to pay for the apartment they moved into? People are sending LOTS of gifts for the twins…They needed more room? There are too many things that dont add up..God keep Madeleien safe and bring her home!!.

Bull monkey, I knew before about at least two witnesses on that night.
The third one is a suprise for me as well, unless I forgot it. The woman seems to have seen a man carrying a weight,”which could have been a child”.Later I read that the woman saw a man carrying a girl in pj, bare feet. Sometimes the man looks like Murat, sometimes not.
It is to be regreted, very much indeed, that more than 20 people went inside the apartment that night. If Gerry felt immediately that the case was abduction, why did he and his wife not do their best to preserve the DNA? They must have learned a lot about it, during their education.

If Murat misses an eye, it would be nearly impossible for him to carry a 4 years old child in dark, even under artificial light, also because the resort is build up on hills.My mother misses an eye as well, she lives on a place with irregular topography and, in darkness, she has great difficulties to estimate distances, specially on the vertical way. Can you imagine Murat coming downstairs with Madeleine in his arms and using only one eye?An the rest of the irregular streets in the resort?

I have been reading all of the reports and the disinformstion throughout. where the hell did these three witnesses (friends) that were staying with the mccanns suddenly appear from. they have been back to the scene of the crime to cast doubt about murats alibi. Why had i seen no mention of 3 guests before?

I personally find it very sad that people are prepared to make judgement on someone like Robert Murat when they are simply reading that which the media choose to disclose. Doesn’t it seem strange that all of this sudden activity is only being reported in a few papers? Who is to say that we are not all being manipulated - as indeed may be the case with Robert Murat - because Madeleine’s supposed abduction is part of a much larger game, the rules of which we are not privvy to?
I too would like nothing better than seeing Maddie found - and I firmly believe that she will be found - and yet, that which has been reported just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth almost as if we are all - including Maddie and Robert Murat -pawns in a game.

yes i am roberts ex wife and i cant believe what i have just read on this site. there is a beautiful little girl still missing and a family in utter agony because of it. my life and that of my family has been totally destroyed over this sad situation and i still have, along with my ex husband and extended family, the compassion within ourselves to feel for this little girl and her family. so i say to all of you people out there be very careful for there for the grace of god go you. i never thought anything remotely like this would happen in our lives so do not rip people apart for things that are way beyond their control. if you have nothing constructive to say dont bother saying it at all for it doesn’t help anybody or do any good what so ever. my daughter and i pray for maddy every night and we are not religous people - please please let that beautiful little girl come home safe to here mum and dad where she belongs.

If you are gay, that is fine, although I don’t see why you feel that we all want to know, but this is not the place to express your fantasies or to use such explicit language - telling wtf to bend over. It’s highly offensive.
Like I said, if you’re gay, then that’s OK, but why don’t you find a gay forum on which to post those type of messages? There are plenty of those type of forums around, and you can fantasise with other guys to your heart’s content without upsetting anybody else.

0 Madeline Mccann?
Horrible story about little girl that was abducted, and I feel like crying for her- goodness only knows what’s happening to her right now.
But I’m with a lot of people here- if she hadn’t been left alone, it just would not have happened. Could all have been quite easily avoided. It only takes 30 seconds for a child to choke. It’s just not a risk you should take, but I get the feeling that there was an “it won’t happen to us” mentality here.
If the Mccann parent’s couldn’t make the necessary adjustments for their kids on holiday, then I’m sure they have family at home who could have looked after them. I just don’t understand how people can relax and enjoy a meal in a foreign country knowing that their three tiny kids are completely alone.
Seems quite simple to me, and as I said, it just did not need to happen.

Tickle- I don’t think I’m missing the issue at all- if the parents hadn’t left the kids alone, Madeline would not have been abducted. It really is that simple. Now God only knows what hell that little girl is going through/has gone through. People CAN have fun after having kids, but you’ve got to admit that life needs to change quite a bit and the most important thing is to protect your child.
