I hope they have closure and at the end of the day the Mccann’s said it themselves “The guilt will never leave us” and that would be something pretty heavy guilt to carry around with you. I firmly believe she was snatched to order but now there is a problem her face is world wide and she has a very distinct eye.Something you couldn’t possibly have seen from anywhere but close up. This complicates things I hope she is returned safe.

Todos os casos em que as crianças sejam colocadas em situações de risco devem ser comunicados à Polícia Judiciária, que tem a competência reservada para investigar os crimes de abuso sexual de menores, pois é a partir das várias denúncias que os investigadores vão juntando o puzzle e chegando à solução. “Não é preciso que as pessoas formalizem uma queixa, basta que contem tudo o que aconteceu e que relatem todos os pormenores de que se consigam recordar”, disse um responsável da Polícia Judiciária, dando como exemplo a fisionomia do suspeito, o carro em que se faz transportar e se este parecia ou não nervoso, entre outros detalhes. Mesmo que a situação não pareça grave, deve ser contada, pois todos os casos ficam registados e mesmo que não seja iniciada de imediato investigação, esses dados podem ser fundamentais para esclarecer casos futuros. Foi o que aconteceu em Coimbra, em que os investigadores actuaram de forma rápida, pois já havia registo de situações anteriores com as mesmas características.

What has come from the search of the computers and the phone records, these are definately suspicious and need to be investigated. Has anyone checked their bank records. If they are anything to do with the abduction then there might be deposits of money in their accounts. IT is worth a check. I think they are involved in someway. Surely we can trace the internet line properly. Also the hotel needs to be checked out. Are the owners involved aswell!!!!

I really hope they find her soon.

It is tragic what has happened but having a 4 yr old son I have to state that Madeleines parents should under no circumstances have left those children alone in that room. What has happened could have been prevented, sorry but true.

Suz - I find your comments both ignorant and offensive. It is difficult enough to find some resemblance to fact in the stories published by the media without your irrational rantings and self righteous judgements adding to thread. If you are considering a career in police investigation, I suggest you find an alterative. While I feel sympathy for the parents and whoever took the girl is evil, from their irresponsible behaviour of leaving two babies and a toddler alone with the windows unlocked, when the hotel have child care facilities, might have harmed lots of other people’s lives too, by being accused of a crime in the tabloids and media if they didn’t commit it. Having a right to a private life is a right in the European Convention of Human rights, but these people who are being accused by the tabloids without any proof are having every moment of their lives talked about and their children are suffering from it.

Maybe the girl got out the unlocked French windows and went to the sea? It seems as much of a possibility as her being abducted when maybe nobody knew the children were alone. Maybe they think blaming somebody else will relieve their guilt of acting irresponsibly. Wouldn’t it be awful if another little girl had her life ruined because her daddy was accused of a crime he didn’t commit if they really do know what happened to her.

Murat was taken in because some bimbo reporter thought he looked dodgy because he has a glass eye and was being helpful so reported him. There have been lots of investigations, but it’s because he lived near the reporters that they were able to know about it and film it. The other investigations are being carried out in secret and reporters don’t know where they are.

The tabloid newspapers in this country are scum and don’t care whose life they ruin if it makes a good story, at the same time forcing idiot attention seeking celebrities such as wags on us. The reporter who first reported Murat seemed like a bimbo. There was a boy who went missing in Greece and his mother still hasn’t found him, but nobody made a big fuss about that. It is a tragedy, but we have to remember to not let it turn into mass hysteria and do things just for the sake of doing it, even if it won’t help find Madeline. That Malinka reminds me of somebody. Is it Rob from Eastenders?

What I read is double strange he said he’d not spoken to the Russian man for at least a year but yet according to mobile phone records they had both spoken to each other at 11.30 that same night Madeleine had gone missing so I think Why should this man lye that He’d spoken to just a business associate for the web site I dont think so these two men must have been in a lot more contact other thatn business as they were talking on moblies at 11.30 at night thats not normal for normal business!!!!!!!!

Did you see the interview with Malinka on Sky news last night? I feel he has something to hide as he would’nt answer all of the questions. I know he couldnt with some due to the investigation but why when asked ‘did you speak to Murat by mobile on the night Madeleine disappeared?’ he replied ‘no comment’. If he didnt he would say he didnt. He obviously did speak to him and we need to know why. To make Murat a suspect the Police have some facts, there is more to this than meets the eye. Time will only tell but as we all know the whole world is desperate for the little girl to be reunited with her loving family.
