Jamison Stone’s Hogzilla Boar (You Must See This Picture)
“IT feels really good,” says Jamison, of Pickensville, posing beside Hogzilla. “It’s a good accomplishment. I probably won’t ever kill anything else that big.”
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Hogzilla is being made into a horror movie. But the sequel may be even bigger: Meet Monster Pig. An 11-year-old Alabama boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail. Think hams as big as car tires.

that pig was a god. who hunts with a .50 calibur handgun? is that even hunting? why not just have someone give you an already dead animal?
May 30th, 2007 at 9:58 am
I’m gonna start selling guns to pigs.

Someone made a point on there being just one picture or so. Good point. As a scientist and biologist I need more than “news”papers, www-stories and ONE photograph to convince me that that pig is not much closer to the camera eye than the kid.
Secondly, the father should not be proud, but quiet. If true, his son walked around in a forest, slowly killing off quite a unique specimen “for the good of the ecosystem.” These hunters apparently lack insight in ecology, zoology and biomechanics and use these disciplines as an excuse for their own pleasure and good. If only they would have the guts to admit this. Summed up, this hunting is about crops and people’s health, summed up again, about money. The state does not care that much about people’s health. If it does, it should focus more on criminality and gun-slinging, than on “pseudorabies and brucellosis.”
Again, if the story is true, father and son Stone would have seemed a lot nicer not bragging and cheering on the kill. Some respect for such a monstrosity would seem in place.
Lastly, as many others have already commented: Jamison Stone is too young to be walking around with a such a gun.

“Think hams as big as car tires.”?
Think of reporters being eaten by that beast.
Think of gun-owners without a gun running away in fear.
Or just THINK.

Now what’s wrong with the Germans? Have you yanks realized that if the rest of the world doesn’t want to hear a thing about you, then maybe you shouldn’t interfere with the rest of the world? You haven’t done anything that would impress us, you can say that you beat the Germans, but how does that matter? Hitler was going to die soon anyway and I dare to say that there wouldn’t been another nutcase.
The fact is that that 11-year old boy had a gun, which has been very likely made in the States. Also the guns in the 3rd world countries come from you. You have even caused all those conflicts on natural resources there so I think you should just shut the fuck up.

WHAT THE GREASY CRAP has a 11 year old got a .50 callibre revolver for?…
Hunting rifle? Yes that’s understandable.
May 29th, 2007 at 4:47 pm
That photo is a FAKE - it has been edited and enlarged
May 29th, 2007 at 4:37 pm
Typical… Finally an animal of such an exceptionall size, of which you can learn a lot, is found and the only thing an 11-year-old american boy can think of is kill it.
Why? To observe it is maybe much more fun and interesting than killing.
Besides, nobody worries about an 11-year-old child who thinks it’s normal to stroll around with a gun? But being surprised if this child causes a massacre in 5 years on his High School.

Too bad that the boar missed the NFL draft. The Giants or Jets could have used a new running back. Let’s send the kid after Osama next!
May 29th, 2007 at 3:39 pm
The photo is not a fair reflection of the beast’s size….
Have you noticed that the kid in the photo is not actually leaning on the boar, but standing several feet (at least) behind it.
A clever trick to make the poor dead animal look larger than it really is.

Isn’t it amazing how some americans have the idea that they are protecting the rest of the world and know how to fight a war. Modern history tells us that Great Britain and the Commonwealth have very well trained capable soldiers and the like. Modern history also tells us that if you want to stay alive in a combat zone, keep as far away from the US soldier as possible. Infact, I am surprised that some of our posters were able to solve the spam protection sum.

Vitun amerikkalaiset punaniskat leikkii aseillaan ja tappaa viattomia eläimiä. 8 osumaa ennen armon laukausta!! huh huh, varmaan oli kivaa seurata possun kitumista.. Siinä hyvä esimerkki isästä joka antaa mallia 11v pojalle kuinka metsästetään. Oksettaa!!!
May 29th, 2007 at 9:03 am
I hope you americans are victorious and drink the blood of germans and other evil enemies!

BTW…The state in which I reside has a hunting season for deer.
In November, 670,000 men & women will take to the woods for the
annual deer hunt. This will drive the Brits crazy, every one of those hunters will have a firearm of some type. High-power rifles, large caliber
handguns & shotguns. They will go forth from their home, in which they keep this firepower. Remember, this is just one state and there are forty-nine more. I dare say we could mobilize a civilian militia of twenty
million, or more, people in just days. That’s a force to be reckoned with.
When the call comes we will answer, just as we have in the past. Which is a reason that german is not your national language.

My, my the outpouring of vitriol is shocking.
I am unable to respond to this type of trash.
On a bright note, when the Muslims take over the U.K.
you will all have to learn Arabic. Isn’t that sweet?
On the hother hand, we may not have to put up with you and your headless corpses.

Mother fucker american rednecks.
You suck cock every day

Mr. or Mrs. GO,
I intend to live my life, and hope you have a long and healthy life yourself. It just seems that we should not be the only ones entitled to that right. I suppose that we are lucky to be the “chosen” ones and not on someone else’s menu. Go vegan, you’ll live longer and healthier. I seriously didn’t think people still had to hunt to feed their families. This country is so screwed up on so many levels; I say we discontinue any foreign aid until we get our own house in order, hunting to stay alive, in the 21st century, that is indeed pathetic.

come on guys,, i dont know if the pig is exactly the weight and size they are saying it is but anyhow its a huge animal, and for everyone out there who think pigs are inoccent animals i agree with another post i saw earlier, i live in Chihuahua Mexico and i own a 600 acres cattle ranch,,and to anyone who likes to back your statements about inoccent and victimized pigs, i would love to take you on a hog hunt, so that you could see the carcasses of the 2 week old steers that wild pigs just eat alive!!! or the photos of my beloved dogs i had to shoot because of a hog encounter i personally say way to go kid, i will continue to put a 25 06 slug on any hog in my ranch because they are a pest , and anyone who lives in a city, and the closest they’ve been to a hog is on the pork chops you eat at your favorite restaurant, dont have what it takes to say that hunting and pest control are inhumane.

Ok, here’s something to try. Get a ruler and measure the gun the boy is holding on your monitors. According to the father of the “hunter”, this is a Smith and Wesson Model 500 revolver. That revolver is almost 18 inches in total from the tip of the hammer to the end of the barrel. Now, compare that measurement with the “Giant” boar. When I did it on my monitor, the boar ended up measuring somewhere around 16 feet from tail to snout (depending on which version of the Model 500 the kid really had, the overall length of the handgun could vary between 15 inches and 18 inches)!
May 28th, 2007 at 4:37 pm
FAKE they fed that pig on a farm until it got real fat and relaesed it in the woods and shot it ! that pig in no way could get that pig naturally. Why do we have so many people that fake shit to get attention
May 28th, 2007 at 3:25 pm
Once again, Jamison…GREAT JOB! The world is full and I mean really full of idiots. Unfortunatley, most of them have nothing better to do than to belittle our nations youth. And a few who say “Kill the kid”. Man you people are messed up(not really my choice of words but had to keep this clean). You are the very ones that should be taken down like the “defenseless” hog. Everyone talks so ugly about Americans and OUR country, so why don’t ya’ll stay in your own if you hate it so much. For those Americans that don’t like it here, leave me your address and I’ll send you a one way ticket to get out!
To all my fellow Proud Americans and hunters..Hunt On and God Bless!

DUMBASS HICKS
May 28th, 2007 at 9:03 am
Hmmm, America could really have something here. By combining these two atrocious freaks of nature, the war in Iraq could be solved. Why send in more human troops when they can have gun weilding 11-year-olds riding these hogs down the streets?
The sight of it alone should be enough to demoralise, disgust and overthrow any oposing army. Problem solved.
Hogzilla children unite!!!
May 28th, 2007 at 5:08 am
I’m no european. Get out Razorback on DVD, pretty funny.
Problem with pigs is that they have big appetite, slightly larger than the average american’s. Domesticated animals have been known to eat their owners.
May 28th, 2007 at 1:40 am
Sounds like some pantywaist Europeans with no attachments to the country spouting forth their words of wisdom. I’m proud of the kid. Guess what fruitloops? They’re eating it!
BTW, hogs destroy enormous amounts of crops.
May 27th, 2007 at 5:37 pm
This picture is so obviously a put up job. Put a large boar in the foreground, have a kid kneel about 10 feet behind it. Pig looks HUGE! Come on folks! How many pictures have you seen of folks “Holding Up” the Leaning Tower of Pisa?
May 27th, 2007 at 3:06 pm
For those out there that think a wild boar of any size is defenseless, have obviously never been in the wild with one. For those out there that think that these animals are harmless have obviously never seen the devastation that these animals can cause to farmers and their crops, which are not only their families livelyhoods, but also our only source for the food that we eat. Great going Jamison, good luck hunting in the future.

Anyone got a copy of photoshop?
