Jamison Stone’s Hogzilla Boar (You Must See This Picture)
“IT feels really good,” says Jamison, of Pickensville, posing beside Hogzilla. “It’s a good accomplishment. I probably won’t ever kill anything else that big.”
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Hogzilla is being made into a horror movie. But the sequel may be even bigger: Meet Monster Pig. An 11-year-old Alabama boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail. Think hams as big as car tires.

CNN, I’ve got to question your motives behind omitting the fact that this kid poisoned this animal before shooting it. Guess that ruins your story a bit?

Killing a defenseless animal and feeling good about it. I would want you to think twice. A 11 year old cannot see R rated movies but he can go around with a .50 cal killing animals. Great shot kid. Keep it up !

Hey hot shot hunters. Read the real story elsewhere, the little redneck mutant poisoned it first. Guess that answers the questions about his handgun skills, and clears up his hero status!

great job god bless you wish I had that kind of luck I hunted for years never seen anything close to that

Nothing in nature should be allowed to get that big. Leaving it alone and letting it live out its life would be criminal. Good shot kid, I bet that boar was a real danger out there in the back woods. By taking care of nature one shot at a time you are really doing a service to us all. Your first animal kill was at a young age, your father is raising you right. Good job Rambo.

An eleven-year-old who can handle a 50-cal handgun is remarkable enough, but a half-ton hog?
Could be a photoshopped picture. I’ll wait for proof.
If it is real, that thing was a monster, literally, and needed to be killed.
Wild boars are vicious, intelligent and aggressive. They tear up crops and stored food, and a really big one would eat a child.
That’s why they’re game animals.

As far as I am concerned, he is a hero. That thing was too big and dangerous. I am sure that the amount of food it had to eat in order to maintain its mutant size was an enormous drain on the local ecosysytem. -glad thats over.

Nice shot kid, the others who have responded have no idea how much hunter’s help. Do any of you know someone who has hit a deer with his or her car? If it weren’t for hunters we would all have steel brush guards on the front of our cars because insurance rates would be so high we would do anything to lower them. Every year the U.S. looses 15% of its hunters, because a lot of the natural predators are gone the only option left is to have the federal government come in and thin the herd.

“It’s a good accomplishment. I probably won’t ever kill anything else that big.”
Jamison, don’t be so pessimistic, I’m sure there’s something else out there 5 times your age and 10 times your intellegence to kill. Don’t give up so easily!

Can I use the famous quote “Only in America” here? 11-year olds running around in the woods with guns. You go, fans of NRA. Say no more…

Quite the feat bringing down a defensless boar. He’s that big there’s no reall danger in the woods like that. My main point, why is an 11 year old running around with a .50 cal. handgun. I’ve heard of hunting for sport, but with that? Come on.
