Jamison Stone’s Hogzilla Boar (You Must See This Picture)
“IT feels really good,” says Jamison, of Pickensville, posing beside Hogzilla. “It’s a good accomplishment. I probably won’t ever kill anything else that big.”
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Hogzilla is being made into a horror movie. But the sequel may be even bigger: Meet Monster Pig. An 11-year-old Alabama boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail. Think hams as big as car tires.

MISSOURI…?..HOGS..?…HELICOPTERS……???…………………….BS
What the hell good does that do? And hogs are intellingent so we need to kill them? I’ve had alot of jobs in my life but I’ve yet to be in competition for hire with a wild hog.
Essentially what you are saying is…kill all smart animals including horses, dogs, cats etc and kill all the dumb ones. Great assesment my friend

These animals are in no way native to north america. They were introduced and shoudl be eliminated as they pose a tremendous threat to our ecosystem, like kudzu and snakefish.

In Missouri the Conservation department has stated:
We don’t want people hunting feral hogs, We want them to KILL them
congrats to the kid for doing what most people can’t do, they are a very smart animal and will change their habits when threatned, they are very hard to track.
The government has even started killing them from helicopters.

Strip HIS fat ass down, along with his mother and father, send them to the woods and lets hunt them down, torture them for three hours and take some cool pics. Whats the difference really????? The pig….no matter the size…. was living its life in its own environment, which it calls home. Probably has a family of little ones too. Is it OK to break and enter a humans home just because he or she is extremely overweight and murder that person??? Whats the difference?? That kid has ass-whoopin coming! Daddy might get a little taste too if he keeps braggin about his big-tittied son.

Huge pig! Glad to see he got it with a 50 handgun since I bought one of these a couple years ago and haven’t shot anything with it yet. Had doubts about using it for deer but this pic lets me know I got the right gun now. Looks like an S&W 500. Nice piece!

Ross,
“consume more power, food and natural resources than half the world” . . . really? Amazing!! Especially when you consider that even if you include Canada in our population, North America has a total population of 332 million (according to Wikipedia Encyclopedia), and the world has a population of 6.62 billion. This would mean that the average American would have to eat more than 10 times the amount of food each day compared to the average non-american in order to consume “more than half the world put together.” I have been to Europe on many times and would hardly say that you guys are starving yourselves to conserve food for the rest of the world.
We definitely don’t have as much history as Europe, I will give you that. We do have a history though. We have a history founded by people who refused tyrannical oppresion. We have a history of defending our rights and freedoms, as well as the rights and freedoms of others. We have a history of being attacked without warning (pearl harbor and 911).
If kids having guns bothered you, you would be more focused on the third world countries that give machine guns to 8yr olds and have them fight in wars (like Somalia). I believe your actual problem with the United States is that you are jealous of our power, freedoms and way of life.

Yeah America is great ! all you anti-americans can wank off ! Will will nuke you !
May 26th, 2007 at 9:09 pm
A .50 caliber pistol is a handful. Kudos to the kid for being able to handle it.
Of course anyone with a brain knows that a boar is not defenseless. Let alone a 1000lb boar!
Also note that this big pig is going to be consumed. It was not a trophy hunt.
I am more scared of people that are disturbed by this story than I am of the kid. He is obviously accomplished and experienced with firearms.
May 26th, 2007 at 8:42 pm
I’m sure all the people criticize the kid for killing a record size boar, NEVER eat pork chops, bacon, ham etc. or for that matter any meat period. Whats the difference between hunting animals and eating them, or the thousands of animals raised and slaughtered , and eaten -nothing. God put certain animals on this Earth for us to guess what -EAT! what diffence does it make how big it was, or who killed it. If you eat meat then you’ve eaten an animal that has been killed, not to mention all the other by- products that come from animals. Now I’m sure some of you extremists are vegans, which is you own business, but leave the rest of who choose to eat meat alone!

Some of you people shouldn’t have Internet access. You’re too stupid for words.

Hero…maybe not.Amazing…shoot yeah.Great job Jamison. It amazes me how all these idiots are upset.I live in Texas. You can’t turn a corner without seeing the damage these pests have done. And I am sure they are ALL vegitarians too.As for the Americans that are not pleased with this countries hunters.Trot your butts straight up to Canada.Let us know if you DO NOT find a monster buck on a living room wall !!!
May 26th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
I’m suspicious. There’s only one photo of this kid with the boar. Why not multiple pics of the dead animal. Looks too incredible. I call bullsh*t!
May 26th, 2007 at 7:22 pm
That little punk needs a slap! Unbelievable that people in America think that their country is the greatest in the world. They have no real history, they consume more power, food and natural resources than half the world put together, they have re-written their own version of English putting Z’s in everywhere there is an S in the real English language and let kids run around shooting innocent animals with live ammunition! is there any wonder most countries hate them! well done kid… very brave!! would you have messed with it without your gun I wonder! Did you ever stop to think that perhaps that boar was maybe some sort of record size before you condemned it to death. They always say, what goes around comes around, maybe Karma while bite you in the ass some day!!

I find it interesting how many people are unwilling to empathize with Jamison Stone. He just killed the largest feral boar ever. If I was an 11 year old kid, I’d be willing to talk about it too. From the sounds of it, it took a considerable amount of time and effort to finish this work. What 11 year old wouldn’t accomplish a feat like this and be proud of his efforts. Feral boar are a problem in the U.S. They are not indigenous. They are not weak and defenseless. He did the state of Alabama a service. He should be happy.
For those who are quick to judge, it really shows YOUR narrow, one sided, intolerant, radical liberalism. You can’t see beyond your own cultural blinders. I fear what you’re capable of more than this 11 year old with a .50 caliber hand gun.

It’s times like this that make me glad I am Canadian.
May 26th, 2007 at 6:28 pm
I’m moving to Canada. This is not a proud moment for an American!

Neil,
I am really impressed with your intelligence! Aliens from Mars. . .really? You must be smarter than all the scientist in the rest of the world (including England). Do you know that we have actually been studying Mars for quite some time. We photographed the entire surface of Mars (dating back as far as 1965) and there are no “Aliens.” Believe it or not we actually have rovers on Mars that are grinding up the soil in hopes of finding microscopic evidence of life.
If the kid did happen to be “heroic” and catch the hog alive, what then? Have you ever seen a caged wild hog? They tend to ram their heads against the side and bite the steel bars until they rub all the way through their skin and break their teeth off (not a very pleasant thing for the hogs).
By the way, who planted all those bombs on a train in England that killed all those innocent people? Was it gun crazy Americans? I don’t think so. What about the bombings in Spain? Once again, not Americans. In fact when was the last time a “gun crazy American” committed a terroist attack in your country?
I sure hope you are not one of those ignorant people that enjoys the popular criticism of America while conveniently remaining quiet and overlooking the actions of radical muslim terrorists (note the word “radical,” I am not talking about the 95% of muslims who are not radical).
May 26th, 2007 at 6:03 pm
By the way its easy to talk when you’re on a separate island…. if UK was on the mainland you wouldn’t talk so tough…
May 26th, 2007 at 5:59 pm
Yes i am French
Thats why i had made love to more beautiful women than defenseless animals the average American male has killed. Hunter take a tranq, I was just trying to rile people like you.
Frankly though life is life and i’d say the world’s largest pig has a lot more value than some white trash kid trolling the woods with a .50 gun.
I wouldn’t shoot either!
May 26th, 2007 at 5:55 pm
A hero would have been the kid who caught it alive, this just proved if aliens ever came down from Mars, the Americans would shoot them dead.
May 26th, 2007 at 5:47 pm
Great work,
11 year old kid running a round with a real pistol, bragging after killing an animal (after let it suffer 3 hours during a chase), and in the background must be the proud father.
No wonder there are too many gun-grazy americans around the world spreading ‘demoracy’ and ‘peace’.
May 26th, 2007 at 5:37 pm
Wow! How can you possibly make a comment like that, insinuating that it would feel good to “shoot the kid between the eyes.” Whether you agree with hunting or not, killing a human (especially a child), and feeling good about it is quite disturbing. Neil, I would strongly recomend you think about what you are saying, and seek counseling if this is how you truly feel. I would definitely prefer to live around people who kill animals than people who would kill a child.
I am going to hope you are actually French, so I don’t loose the respect I have for people in England.
May 26th, 2007 at 5:28 pm
Too bad the pig didn’t fall on the boy and crush him, poetic justice.
May 26th, 2007 at 5:26 pm
I’m sure it felt as good to shoot the boar as it would to shoot the kid between the eyes. Way to go USA, land of the biggest pigs indeed!
May 26th, 2007 at 5:08 pm
FYI - If anyone has actually owned land with wild hogs on it, I don’t think you would be so critical of this situation. I am not in any way promoting the idea of turning young kids loose in the woods with giant guns, but I can tell you that you will be hard pressed to find any farmer or land owner (in an area with wild hogs) to take issue with killing them. I have a 400 acre ranch in East texas and it has a serious over population of wild hogs. These hogs are extremely destructive and can be very dangerous. They multiply like rabbits (they have multiple litters of piglets every year, with 6-10 piglets per litter). They destroy crops, vegetation roads etc. They compete with the local wildlife (deer, turkey etc) for food, and they always win. I have personally buried two dogs that got their stomachs ripped open by the tusks of these boar on my ranch. If you think these are harmless innocent animals, feel free to catch a flight to Dallas, TX. I will pick you up to the airport, take you out to the ranch, and let you make your own educated decisions.
May 26th, 2007 at 5:02 pm
While I acknowledge the fact that game animal population is kept in check by hunters for good reason, I think it’s ridiculous that people are calling this kid a “hero” for gunning down a pig, just because it was so large. If that pig was causing so much trouble, wouldn’t people be hearing about it? I personally don’t think the media could resist a headline like “Giant Boar Eats Child” or “Town Terrorized By Mutant Pig”. Seriously, if the thing is in the woods going through life without harming anyone, how can someone really call killing it heroic? It’s called cruel, and rude. Hunting is anyone’s prerogative, but never is it heroic. How can anything be more than cheap when you’re guaranteed to win?
May 26th, 2007 at 4:48 pm
You’re partly right Gabriele, but the pic is probably not photoshop as much as it is the perspective in the picture…the pig is real close, the kid is further back…..makes the pig look ginormous….not that it’s not a big pig to begin with, but I guess they felt they had to make it look even bigger…….kind of like what Burger King and those fast food places do when they have to think of a new product….they don’t necessarily come up with a new product, they just take whatever their biggest burger is, and simply make it bigger…..not sure what I’m trying to say anymore…but…..hahaha…I do like that one comment from someone else though….”it’s real! just check the CNN webpage”…ha ha ha….stupid CNN, yeah right, and we’re all going to go to CNN if we are looking for the God’s-honest truth…ha ha ha!!!!!
May 26th, 2007 at 4:15 pm
It’s a big pig
