“I’m against the celebration of mediocrity. I’m sorry about that world because I know everyone loves it and loves to watch mediocre people. I studiously avoid Big Brother. I just don’t like all that stuff I’m afraid. It’s really boring. I’d rather go round and see someone rather than sit in the corner and watch them.” Someone. Like Heather Mills? Or does even Paul have his limits?

oooh Enid. No need to take it personally. I take it you’re a BB fan, then? How do you know McCartney’s new “record” is shite. It isn’t available until 4th June, and you would have had to go out your way to find it and listen to it. Now, you don’t strike me as a McCartney fan, so why did you listen to it.

It must be nice to have the confidence that you yourself are not mediocre. And of course, ex-Beatle Paul has the CV to prove it. Shame his new record is such excruciating shite.
