British Trade Sanctions Against Israel
WE do business with China, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Iraq, Belarus, Iran, Venezuela, Burma and many, many more. But when it comes to a democratic ally:
UNISON representatives who are in contact with the Histadrut labor federation have in recent days presented the Histadrut’s international activities director, Avital Shapira, with a copy of the proposal.
According to the proposal, UNISON, which has some 1.4 million members, will urge other British unions to follow its lead and cut off all economic and cultural ties with Israel.
Histadrut sources said the impression they have received is that UNISON will vote in favor of the boycott.
Why?

So we must boycott Lebanon as in the past 2 weeks we have seen the conditions of the palestinaians there are much worse than in Israel! Darfur, the Kurds in Iraq before the war, there are many other countries where some of the people are treated in a much harsher way than the palestinians. This is just anti semitism pure and simple.

‘Conditions for Palestinians under occupation by Israel are much much worse than conditions in China, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Iraq, Belarus, Iran, Venezuela, Burma and many, many more.’
If you actually believe that you are either consumed by bigotry or completely insane.

Who cares about Trade?
Conditions for Palestinians under occupation by Israel are much much worse than conditions in China, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Iraq, Belarus, Iran, Venezuela, Burma and many, many more.
I fail to see any connection or relevance.
