Big Brother’s Emily Parr On ‘Fat Niggers’ And ‘Pakis’
BIG Brother Emily Parr has been “DISOWNED” on the Mirror’s front page.
Inside Emily’s uncle James Coughlin says Emily’s use of the world “nigger” in the presence of Charley Uchea is “Disgusting”.
It is disrespectful. In the parlance of the street – although not one Emily has ever visited - Emily has dissed Charley, the greater Parr family and the Mirror, for whom the word is so awful it is produced as “n****r”.
“It’s a friendly term,” says Emily, Big Brother’s white bitch ho, “you know, making fun of people, being in a group. I would never use any offensive words like that, you know? I’m a kind girl, I’ve got a big heart for everybody.” As the Star’s front page says: “EMILY: I’M NO BIG BROTHER RACIST.”
Emily should stop there before she tells us that it’s only thanks to her innate sense of middle-class mores and suburban values that she’s able to tolerate black people like Charley and not burn them in their beds.
Back in the Mirror and BBC radio presenter DJ Spoony, a man of colour, is telling Mirror readers that no-one should use the “N-“WORD”.
Over in the Sun, former Big Brother housemate Derek Laud, an IC3 male, says that Emily’s use of the word “n*****” risks offending many good British men and women”.
Good people don’t say the word nigger, says Derek. Only bad people do. Emily is bad, and not in a 1980s street Michael Jackson way.
And Big Brother is good, on the side of the Shilpas. As the Mail’s headline says: “We will not tolerate any Big Brother racism says Channel 4. (But we’ll show it if it pulls in the viewers.)”
And if it sells papers. It really is that cynical. Shock sells. And as we have seen with the Princess Diana documentary, Channel 4 loves to shock.
Back in the Sun and readers hear from Stacey Jones, who went to college with Emily. “We all knew her racist side would come out on TV,” says Stacey, willing to deliver her Cannonball Special to add more pain to Emily, who is said to be “beyond gutted”.
“She hates ethnic minorities and fat people,” says Stacey. We learn that Emily once called a black girl a “fat n*****” who should “go work at KFC”.
(Notice how the Sun has replaced another letter of nigger with a star. It won’t be long before the word disappears completely.)
“There was one girl called Gloria and Emily used to call her fat n***** behind her back,” says Stacey. And Nathan Patel says that when he began dating one of Emily’s friends he heard Emily refer to him as a “P**I” or a “****”.
Meanwhile, Emily, who gave herself a 10 out of 10 for intelligence is holed up in hotel wondering where she goes from here.

I cannot believe the hypocrisy of the BB Producers. Charley, quite possibly the most repellant human being I have ever had the misfortune of seeing on television, gets clean away with homophobia but Emily gets the boot for a flip stupid comment whilst trying to be ‘hip’…..’hop’…;o)
How they left Charley in after she told Jerry (repeatedly) to “eat the sh*t out of her arse” is unbelievable.

Nigger is from the Latin word niger which means black. The etymology of Nigeria is obviously similar. It is now rather quaint to use. The use of the word nigga however is more today’s vogue. Part of the ebonics language, it is interesting to note the reverse racism in its use. Viz, some african americans (AA) accept the word nigga from another AA as meaning dude or bro but take offense when called the same by a caucasian. Its getting out of hand here. What language! Emily Parr should not have used the nigger word as that in itself is offensive. Doubt if anyone noticed on the first day of BB show when everybody was introduced into the BB house, the look that Emily Parr gave Nicky Maxwell (an Indian) - one of disgust and disdain! At that point in time, emily parr’s racist attitude was not apparent but this look which she gave Nicky really shocked me. I felt real bad. This was an involuntary expression of Emily which goes to show that she is naturally averse to people who are non-white or to ethnic minorities.

To DJ - You made your point and you were making it well, but to say you speak the truth, and I am spouting garbage, shows that you are both hitting and missing the point. You CAN say what you like, but the truth has to be confirmed by 100% of the population. Here is a fact that I am aware of because of the work I do, crime is getting out of hand because of the way it is being tackled, and then the way it is being reported. there is the problem of the big social divide, the wider the gap, etc….any sociology students here can continue with this one…..and I bet not 100% of the people will agree with me or them, but I am saying it anyway.
Are you saying that the British should have a monopoly on crime, fraud, prostitution, drug abuse, and that other people should not jump on the bandwagon too….and are you suggesting that the only reason crime has increased is because of the immigrants.
And you must be commended that you respect the traditions of some other countries, but have you ever listened to what the Spanish say about the British in their country, or what the Germans say, or indeed the Greeks. oh and not forgetting the Dutch in particular the Dutch prostitutes!!! (I don’t admit to anything, but I have done research)

I have black friends and do not have a probem with blacks. I had one very close Asian friend at school, and her family were a respectable family, mother a professor, father a doctor.
My opinions have changed as I have seen the change in fraud over the last decade for myself. Having worked in banking for the best part of my working life, I have proof that fraud within banking and finance has increased and this is primarily down to the increase in the so called asylum seekers (illegal immigrants). The worst are the Chinese in fact. But crime in general HAS increased in the last decade. Those who choose to ignore this fact, you do so at your peril. Crime, prostitution, fraud etc is more prevelant now, so do some homeowrk and research the facts (like I have), before spouting your garbage!
I did not say there was NO crime or fraud before the masses came, just that it has increased……..that is PURE FACT!!!
I may come across as racist, but the fact remains, I have nothing against those who come to this country to work hard and give something back to this country, but I cannot abide those who come here, get free housing and benefits etc, then go on a crime spree, and use their race to get away with everything and anything!
Too many people use their race these days to manipulate otheres, and that is what grates the most.
Ever heard the saying, ‘When in Rome, do as the Romans do’? Then take heed.
When I go abroad on holiday, I respect the traditions and customs of that country, not ask them to remove china pigs off their windowsill because it offends me because I am Muslim and eat pork etc!!!!! That is one example where an immigrant used their race to manipulte, and there are hundreds of other examples that could be used.
I am all for integration, and equality, but not to the point where I am discriminated against (in the country where I have lived and worked all my life), by someone who has entered this country illegally, and has been here 5 minutes and not contributed…
I am not alone in my views, as this topic rages at my workplace, and I’m sure at many other workplaces across the country.

and just a final comment to DJ. yes i’ve seen this country change too. i was born in sheffield in a council estate where not one black or asian person lived. now that estate is entirely asian. probably 50000 plus. but you have to understand the white person created this not you not me but our ancestors. asians are bound to stick together because they are still discriminated against in our country can you blame them. ( if you were to move to india or pakistan would you seek a house in the middle of an asian district or would you choose a place that has a lot more westerners in. (take costa del sol and other parts of spain for example). We the great british tried to take over india and millions suffered and thousands died as a result. now Although i believe india is now a better place for us having being there i dont believe that the human suffering was worth it at the time. we are the reason that our country has become multi cultural. we tried to rule the world. only now i believe our british values are the way to rule the world. our language is the worlds number one language. our politics are being adopted the world over. we can be proud to say that we set the example on how the world should act. britain more than any other country has influenced how the world acts and thinks. and i thank god (no im not religious) that we have had real values real morality to do it. Personally I couldn’t give a toss. I find it very funny, that those of you who are white have the need to get so defensive about the colour of a person’s skin, suddenly coming out and saying “I’m no racist, I love everyone, some of my best friends are black, and I have a neighbour whose dog is black, and I used to walk it, blah,blah,blah” Anyone would think you’d been accused of wearing winkle pickers with flares…Fortunately and unfortunately you people here choose to either embrace your history (winning the war, the world cup of 66) or deny it (slavery in 19th century or national front in the 70’s), but I’m digressing…. the fact is this….politicians, large corporations, the tabloids, channel 4, have all stirred up racism far beyond the reality of it, to get votes, discrete respect, sales of newspapers or viewing figures.
