Madeleine McCann Not In Malta Or Morocco
FROM Paulo Reis in Portugal:
Portuguese CID spokesman, about Madeleine abduction: “The clue to this mistery is in Praia da Luz”
Portuguese authorities have dismissed as groundless all leads on sightings of Madeleine McCann in other countries rather than Portugal, namely in Morroco and Malta, said Polícia Judiciária (PJ), Portuguese CID, spokesman Olegário de Sousa (…) Further investigations are being carried out centered mainly on the area of Praia da Luz itself, said Mr. Olegário de Sousa. «The clue to this mistery is in Praia da Luz», according to other police source quoted by Diário de Notícias. (…)
Note: Kate and Gerry McCann are innocent.

MADDIE: 10 NEW SUSPECTS
May25th November 2007 By Dominik Lemanski
SPANISH investigators hunting for Madeleine McCann have narrowed their search to a hit list of ten paedophiles, we can reveal.
Detectives working for the Metodo 3 agency are blitzing locations in Europe and Africa to find the known sex offenders.
The 40-strong team – headed by managing director Francisco Marco, 35 – are confident the list holds the key to solving the case.
And despite being hampered by the lack of an official sex offenders’ register in Portugal, the private eyes are adamant they will find Maddie “within five months”.
A source close to the investigation said last night: “Metodo believe the answer to Maddie’s disappearance lies in the hit list they have drawn up.
“It included two dozen names compiled through police records and a network of contacts. But now it has been whittled down to ten.
“Using old-fashioned detective work they are investigating each sex offender and checking their movements close to the time Maddie was abducted on May 3.
“They have ruled out several people so far but there are still ten suspects whose whereabouts in early May have not been accounted for.”
Working on the assumption that Maddie was snatched by a sex monster and spirited away to Morocco, the agency has had operatives in the North African country for weeks.
The source added: “Metodo agents are searching for Maddie in remote villages of the Rif mountains.
“Morocco is just 35 minutes from mainland Europe and is known as a haven for sex offenders.”
The Barcelona-based agency was hired by Kate and Gerry McCann in September on a six-month contract to find Maddie.
Last night, McCann spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “We have every confidence in Metodo 3. They can get to places faster and work quicker than anyone else and have the capacity to work worldwide.”
November 25th, 2007 at 9:20 am
Bristling with bravado before the television cameras last week, Francisco Marco, the portly boss of the Spanish-based detective agency Metodo 3, sneeringly dismissed the Portuguese police investigation into the disappearance of the couple’s daughter, Madeleine, as ”bumbling”, and boasted: ”We know who the kidnappers are and we are very, very close to catching them.”
Off camera, he admitted: “No, I can’t disclose any more yet. But I will be proved right.”
A source close to the couple says: ”There was a time when Kate and Gerry would have been wildly buoyed by such news. But I imagine Gerry had his head in his hands with despair when he watched Marco in that interview.
“Because the truth is that, in private at least, the couple know in their hearts that Metodo 3 is no nearer discovering who took Madeleine, never mind where she is now, than are the Portuguese police.
”The harsh fact is that they were pinning their remaining hopes on Marco’s outfit when they hired them on a six-month contract in September. But, in the past few weeks, they have conceded that they might have been sold a pup. There’s no doubt they’ve worked round the clock, but they don’t have a lot of experience with this type of investigation.”
It is little wonder that this is the conclusion that the beleaguered McCanns have reached. For while, in public at least, they cling to the hope that four-year-old Madeleine will be found, and found alive, the truth is that now, eight days short of the seven-month anniversary of her disappearance from the family’s Algarve holiday apartment on May 3, even they are no longer convinced they will see their daughter again.
It has been a bitter lesson. But the reality is that the ‘Find Madeleine’ campaign and investigation, begun with such fervour and enthusiasm, is limping slowly to a close: its likely outcome that we shall never know what happened to Madeleine, and her parents will forever be surrounded by the suspicion that they were involved in her death.
When both were interrogated at the police headquarters in Portamao, in September, they realised to their horror that as long ago as last June the investigating officers had stopped following any lines of enquiry that suggested Madeleine was abducted, and had for months been concentrating solely on them as the chief suspects.
”They were in despair,” says the family friend. ”That is when Brian Kennedy, the couple’s millionaire benefactor, stepped in. He offered to fund an investigation by Metodo 3. And it’s costing a hefty sum.”
The agency is believed to charge up to £2,000 a day and, with a six-month contract that will include expensive travel and technology costs, the final bill is likely to be as much as £750,000.
Initially, the McCanns were impressed by Metodo 3’s claims: Mr Marco insisted he had a ‘”100 per cent” success rate and had reunited 23 missing children and teenagers with their families. Yet, this week, he refused to discuss his claims with The Sunday Telegraph, insisting he was ”too busy with his investigation” to discuss it.
To date, the Portuguese police have tolerated the agency’s investigations but now they dismiss them as ”irrelevant small-fry” who ”lack credibility”.
They have been incensed by Metodo 3’s allegation that Michaela Walczuch, the German girlfriend of Robert Murat, the only other suspect, was sighted handing over a blonde girl to a mystery man in Silves, Portugal, two days after Madeleine vanished from her holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, 25 miles away.
Another of their witnesses, they claimed, saw Ms Walczuch in Zaio in Morocco on June 15, shortly after the witness allegedly saw Madeleine there. Exasperated, the police disclosed that Ms Walczuch was at a Jehovah’s Witnesses’ meeting on that date and she has threatened legal action against any publication suggesting she was involved in Madeleine’s disappearance.
At the same time as police were pouring scorn on Metodo 3’s investigations, Portugal’s most senior law officer, the attorney general Fernando José Pinto Monteiro attacked the McCanns, insisting that their decision to encourage worldwide publicity for their missing child had probably served only to hasten Madeleine’s murder.

Madeleine McCann case WILL be solved
By Laurie Watson
ON May 3, little Madeleine McCann went missing. In what has become the news story of 2007 that’s one of the very few facts anyone can be certain of.
Amid the contradictory reports circulating on a daily basis, one of the UK’s foremost crime crackers visited the sleepy Portuguese village, Praia da Luz, where Madeleine was last seen alive, in a bid to find answers.
However, despite being joined by a team of five leading UK crime specialists in Portugal for a Channel 4 Dispatches documentary, Professor David Barclay, who has worked on more than 200 murder cases, came away with yet more unanswered questions.
In his quest to find out what happened to Madeleine he admits there was something vitally important he couldn’t get his hands on and it could hold the key to the mystery.
“I think there’s a possibility some of the evidence the Portuguese police have might assist things,” he stressed.
“I was allowed to go where I wanted over there but I didn’t get co-operation from the police to view the evidence (from the car) they had. So to this day we don’t know what the physical evidence results are.
“In the absence of either the immediate group being ruled out some other way, or any other local suspect, that physical evidence seems the only way the crime can be detected.”
Hard facts
Without the hard facts of DNA, Prof. Barclay had to rely on logic and the information he did have. His investigation has led him to two hypotheses and he’s not a fan of either.
“My two ideas are that either she came to some harm at the hands of her family, that would be people with legitimate access to her — or the only alternative is that a local paedophile abducted her,” he explained.
“Both of those are really unlikely. The evidence we have doesn’t make sense for either.”
As he talks candidly about his thoughts on the case that has dominated this summer’s headlines you can almost see a whiteboard mapping out Prof. Barclay’s thought pattern.
“The police definitely took thumbprints from the window and those marks might end up being someone who is registered somewhere as a paedophile,” he said.
“The thumb marks obviously aren’t from anyone local or who is registered on their database, because they would have got them by now. But it might be someone not on a database who commits a subsequent offence.
“If you think through the scenario that someone has taken her and is keeping her alive, why would they do that? There would be easier access to hundreds, maybe thousands, of pretty white children in Croatia and Romania— nobody would go to an isolated, Portuguese village to try to steal a child.
“That brings you back to maybe it’s someone already there and if that’s the case it has to be a visitor because the local people don’t have that record.”
This trail always brings him back to Madeleine’s family — her parents Gerry and Kate and the other members of their travelling group now infamously referred to as the “Tapas Seven”.
“I have no views whatsoever on whether the McCanns were involved,” he stressed.
Suspects
“But they should have been, and still justifiably are, the main suspects. Had the police been more aggressive with the McCanns in the first two days, sealed the flat and gone through all their friends’ statements, the McCanns might have been able to show they couldn’t possibly have harmed or got rid of Madeleine.
“If she hadn’t been found in the first few hours we would have suspected she had come to some harm. Statistically, if she’s not found within four hours then she’s come to some harm and the most likely place for that to happen would be in the flat.
“If the investigation had taken place in the UK, I believe the McCanns would have been treated like suspects from the beginning.”
Having spoken so candidly, Prof. Barclay refuses to divulge further information, adamant that adding to the innuendo surrounding the McCanns’ innocence or guilt would be entirely inappropriate.
Crime scene
Instead, he talks of his crime scene methods, which as former head of physical evidence for the UK National Crime and Operations Faculty, drew him to some of the UK’s greatest miscarriages of justice, including the b***dy Sunday inquiry, the Omagh bombing and the World’s End murders in Edinburgh.
His success and attention to detail have seen him invited to crime scenes across the world. He has gained a reputation for cracking “difficult” cases, which have been unsolved for years, even decades.
To the unknowing eye it doesn’t seem like rocket science, but it’s Prof. Barclay’s meticulous and rigorous work through each step that makes him stand out.
“I always wanted to be Sherlock Holmes,” he added. “I have a very bizarre mind. I’ve been tested several times over the course of my career and told I’m definitely not a scientist because I tend to be very lateral thinking — my brain is very comfy with that.
“Scientists can’t see the solution to the problem until they’ve gone through all the steps, whereas someone who thinks like I do tends to see the solution first and then think backwards.
“My science training then comes in, because I will then go back through each step making sure everything is correct.”
It is Prof. Barclay’s mind that has placed him at the forefront of crime scene developments in this country for almost 30 years, rewriting the methods our police officers use to detect crime.
“People used to use confession and eyewitness evidence a lot,” he said. “It used to be about nomination. Like the TV programme Life On Mars, they decided who did it then set about trying to prove it.
Justice
“That’s really how it was until the middle of the ’80s. But there were a lot of miscarriages of justice which came to public attention in the second half of the ’80s.
“Not just the high-profile ones like the Guildford Four and Birmingham Six but also fairly routine murders. As a result, the whole thing changed to elimination style — where you now have a pool of people who might have possibly committed the crime, maybe hundreds, and then you try to whittle them down one by one.
“That’s a tremendous change, you don’t need to know who’s done it at any stage. You don’t need to rely on gut feeling or fitting people up, which sadly used to be the case.”
Now, in his day job as senior lecturer in the School of Life Sciences at Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University, his responsibilities lie in passing on these lessons to the next generation of crime crackers.
One of his biggest challenges is highlighting to students that the job is nothing like the big budget Hollywood glamour portrayed in hit shows such as CSI, but he believes the universal skills he teaches are forensic science’s greatest attraction.
“Don’t even mention that show in front of me,” he joked. “We teach problem solving, we’re teaching people to think on their feet using scientific methods. Those shows start out with good intentions then after the second series they run out of ideas and get progressively more ludicrous.”
Having shared his knowledge with future generations, does he envisage one of his students cracking the case of Madeleine McCann years from now?
“I don’t see that happening,” he explained. “I believe this case will be solved sooner than that. There has been speculation about items they’re testing and the very fact that they’re testing those items suggests there’s physical evidence and forensic possibilities — and that might clarify it one way or the other.”

BABYSITTER SAW WINDOW MAN
Maddie has been missing over six months
Sunday November 25,2007
By Matt Drake
A MAN who looks like Robert Murat tried to climb into the apartment where Madeleine McCann went missing at a time when another child was alone inside, it was claimed last night.
A new witness, who worked as a nanny at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, has given a sworn statement about the incident to detectives in the UK and Spain.
The British girl claims she disturbed a prowler, described as looking identical to official suspect Murat, trying to climb in through the ground-floor window of apartment 5A six months before Madeleine disappeared.
The babysitter immediately reported the incident to management at the Mark Warner resort, who passed the information to Portuguese police.
The woman, who has asked not to be named, said she left a baby sleeping in the apartment while she went to get something to eat. On her return she startled the man, who saw her coming and fled shouting, “No, no”.
Details of the sighting have been given to detectives at Metodo 3, the Barcelona-based agency hired by the McCanns three months ago. Investigators are now working on the description of a man in his 30s with dark hair.
They are understood to have shown the nanny photos of 34-year-old British expat Murat and are now certain it is the same man.
The woman has been interviewed by police in the UK where she is also thought to have given a statement under oath.
Last night a spokesman for Metodo 3 declined to comment on the latest development despite speculation they are now close to forcing an arrest.
A source close to the investigation said: “A babysitter has given detectives a statement in which she claims she caught a man trying to climb in through a window of apartment 5A – the apartment later occupied by the McCanns.
“He was trying to get in through the exact same window which police believe Madeleine’s abductors may have used. It happened six months before Madeleine disappeared and she did report it to her bosses at the club.
“She later gave detectives a detailed description of the man who the detectives say is identical to Robert Murat.
“The information has been passed on to police in Britain and Portugal.”
Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann, both 39, have always believed they were stalked by a lone predator or gang who targeted the blonde youngster.
Murat was named as a suspect on May 15 following 12 hours of interrogation. He has always vehemently denied any part in Madeleine’s disappearance.

Hi all
I’m not interested in Comare, but I am very interested in JULIA HOBSBAWN, SKY NEWS, GENERAL MEDICAL COUNCIL because she may connect in some way to Matthew James theory. May be a load of rubbish but who knows? Let’s have a look.
I’m especially interested because it would seem (more than seem) that the PJ and PA (and others) are monitoring sites like the Mirror forum (in particular) and picking up data (mostly wild theories) and are publicising them.
Julia Hobsbawm is now the founder and chief executive of media analysis and networking company Editorial Intelligence.
http://editorialintelligence.com
Julia Hobsbawm’s new company ‘Editorial Intelligence’ specialises in analysing and exploiting comment and opinion in both print and online media. In simple terms, ‘Editorial Intelligence’ helps realise the potential of controlling the shape and fabric of public opinion and (d)ebate by controlling what is published in comment areas, forum areas, letters pages and message boards. They have even coined a new word for the online/published briTish public; they call it the ‘Commentariat’ (a play upon the word ‘Proletariat’ - orginally coined to describe the lower or working classes).
Julia Hobsbawm’s ‘Editorial Intelligence’ describes itself on its website:
“Editorial Intelligence opens a door to a vital and growing world of print and online comment and opinion. What the ‘Commentariat’ says affects and influences the direction of public opinion and policy alike and with it, corporate reputation …

Panorama walk-out over McCann film
Why did TV journalist David Mills, the producer of a Panorama film on the McCann affair, quit the project before it was transmitted last week? The Observer’s David Rose reveals the inside story of the latest row to hit the BBC’s flagship show
David Rose
The Observer Sunday November 25 2007
In the credits at the end of last week’s Panorama special on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, one name was conspicuous by its absence - that of David Mills, the programme’s original producer. His name had disappeared from the end credits despite the fact that it was his company, Mills Productions, that had done all the research and was responsible for bringing the exclusive footage at the film’s heart to the BBC.
Two weeks before transmission last Tuesday, Mills - one of Britain’s most respected documentary-makers, who in his 40-year career has made 120 investigative films for broadcasters including the BBC, Granada, Thames and America’s CBS - walked out of the programme after a furious row with Panorama’s editor, Sandy Smith, over the programme’s approach and argument.
He then wrote a stinging email to the BBC attacking Panorama for losing its journalistic passion. It has created a stir in the media world, mixing as it does the controversial issues of the McCanns and how their story is covered, journalistic balance and television current affairs.
‘I had written a draft script and had already been told it was compelling,’ Mills said. ‘Sandy turned up with a completely different version and basically imposed it on me. I told him, “I cannot edit the film to this: it’s a completely different show, and I’m not going to do it.” To have this happening is very depressing.’
The incident - one of several controversies Panorama has faced this year - suggests, Mills said, that ‘the BBC is no longer interested in serious current affairs’. BBC sources confirmed last night that the decisions about the programme’s shape had been taken ‘close to the top’ of the BBC management hierarchy - which has already conducted a series of internal meetings over how the corporation should approach McCann case coverage in general.
As one of those interviewed by Mills and the programme’s reporter, Richard Bilton, I can attest to how different the programme shown was to what they told me less than a month ago that they were envisaging. Along with The Observer’s Ned Temko, who has covered the case for this newspaper, I ended up on the cutting-room floor. At that stage - as Mills’s draft script makes plain - his intention was to make an analytical, investigative programme that would have been very critical of the Portuguese police, not only for the errors in their investigation, but for their apparent campaign of disinformation designed to put pressure on Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann. It would also have criticised both the local and British press over allegations that they recycled unfounded rumours with little sign of fact-checking or detachment.
It would, as Mills confirmed again yesterday, have scrutinised the various allegations that have been floated against the McCanns and concluded they are baseless: ‘We had an investigative team looking into the story for weeks. Our assessment was that the purported DNA evidence was weak and inconclusive, while so far as we could tell the supposedly significant “discrepancies” between the stories told by the McCanns’ friends about the night of Madeleine’s disappearance amount to very little indeed.’
The original film would have compared Madeleine to the JonBenet Ramsey case in Colorado, about which Mills has made three previous documentaries. After the body of JonBenet, a child beauty pageant winner aged six, was found in her parents’ Boulder home, they were vilified by the police and media, despite their continued insistence that they had nothing to do with her death. They claimed she had been killed by an intruder. Mills’s version of the McCann Panorama featured an interview - eventually not used - with JonBenet’s father, John, in which he said that the Colorado police ‘did a great job of convincing the media and the world that we were guilty, but they couldn’t charge us, because of course they had no case’. Years later DNA evidence proved beyond doubt that JonBenet had been killed by an intruder. John Ramsey told Panorama: ‘It’s a life-time damage. No question about it.’
The programme on the McCanns that was broadcast by Panorama was much less ambitious. It recited the case both for and against the McCanns, but had nothing harsh to say about either the police or the media. It did include new material, including a video diary shot of the McCanns in Portugal by their friend John Corner - footage that had been acquired by Mills and had led to his company getting the BBC commission.
It also cast doubt on some of the wilder claims published by the tabloids, and contained the first interview with Jane Tanner, one of the McCanns’ companions on the holiday in Praia de Luz last May, who said that she was certain she had seen a girl who looked like Madeleine being carried in the street by a strange man around the time she is thought to have disappeared. But the programme avoided firm conclusions.
Having handed the film’s editing over to a colleague, Mills emailed Smith on Monday, the day before transmission, saying he felt compelled to remove both his name and his company’s from the credits. ‘In part this is because its muddled structure and lack of narrative drive means it is far below the standard of any work that I or my company would wish to be associated with,’ the email said. ‘In part, too, my decision reflects the programme’s intellectual impoverishment. The McCann case poses issues of real importance which Panorama should have examined. That it is instead running a laboured, pedestrian, extended news report is shameful.
‘But the most important reason for my decision is that because the programme is insufficiently analytical it verges on the dishonest. Our lengthy investigation revealed that there is no meaningful evidence against the McCanns… The real question must be how, without any meaningful evidence, the Portuguese police and the media in Portugal and Britain have been able to convince most people that the couple were involved.’
Mills had been working closely with a CBS team, which also used the video diary footage. They, he told Smith, had concluded it was ‘ludicrous’ and ‘crazy’ to think the McCanns could have caused the death or disappearance.
Smith emailed Mills back, accusing him of wanting to broadcast ‘advocate journalism’, and pointing out that the broadcast version did describe some of the allegations against the McCanns as ‘tenuous, to put it mildly’. Smith said that, while it was true that the programme ‘changed substantively,’ this was because ‘it is a current affairs programme and it was overtaken by events’. He added: ‘To get Jane Tanner and some of the McCann family meant that some of the other stuff moved to the edge, and the original version was just not journalistically as important.’
Mills disagrees. ‘So far as I can see, investigative journalism at the BBC is over,’ he said. ‘The broadcast script contains nuances that suggest that the McCanns still have a case to answer. The BBC should have had the courage to state that this is simply not so.’
Clarence Mitchell, the former BBC reporter who is the McCanns’ spokesman, said Kate and Gerry were ‘content’ with the broadcast version and accepted that events meant it had to change. He said they had spoken to Bilton and told him they considered the film to be ‘fair’.
Other McCann family members were less happy. John, Gerry’s brother, whose interview was broadcast, said: ‘It wasn’t the programme that I was told they were going to make. They’ve made something very different, and I am disappointed, because I’d hoped the full story was going to be told. Nevertheless I’m pleased they interviewed Jane Tanner. She said she saw Madeleine being abducted, and we want people to remember that.’
The row follows controversies over previous films this year, such as a report on Scientology by former Observer journalist John Sweeney, in which he lost his temper and turned - in his words - into an ‘exploding tomato,’ and a story claiming that wi-fi technology might be harmful, which was denounced by some scientists as ‘irresponsible’.
As someone who once spent a year reporting for Panorama myself, I know that no BBC programme is more closely scrutinised and, sometimes, fought over. The fact remains some of its most distinguished contributors, including Tom Mangold and John Ware, have left in recent years, and that it has been repeatedly accused of punching below its weight. Mills is not a marginal figure, and the CBS film with which he was collaborating was much firmer in its conclusion that the McCanns had to be innocent.
Last night the BBC hierarchy was closing ranks to resist Mills’s arguments. Outside the corporation, they may not be as easily dismissed.
‘Your programme verges on the dishonest’

Dear Sandy,
As you know, in the end I felt I could not leave either my name or my company credit on the programme.
In part this is because its muddled structure and lack of narrative drive means it is far below the standard of any work that I or my company would wish to be associated with.
In part, too, my decision reflects the programme’s intellectual impoverishment. The McCann case poses issues of real importance which Panorama should have examined. That it is instead running a laboured, pedestrian extended news report is shameful.
But the most important reason for my decision is that because the programme is insufficiently analytical; it verges on the dishonest. Our lengthy investigation revealed that there is no meaningful evidence against the McCanns. Our CBS colleagues concluded that it was ‘ludicrous’ and ‘crazy’ to think them involved and that … ‘the child was abducted’.
The real question must be how, without any meaningful evidence, the Portuguese police and the media in Portugal and Britain have been able to convince most people that the couple were involved. Yet while the programme drips innuendos against the McCanns, it does not put a single challenging question to anyone in the Portuguese police or to anyone in the media. This is truly astonishing.

I also truly think that RM has Maddie well hidden somewhere… have you noticed.. that his daughter truly looks like Maddie unlike any other sightings????? -
November 25th, 2007 at 12:59 am
ps:
what about Maddie being in the UK with his ex-wife’s address?? - or at a relative? - I also slightly think he might have taken her there since the airports at that time were not notified at all…he could have easily gotten on a public airline on standby or something.. I still think there is an Exeter link here…….
November 25th, 2007 at 12:57 am
This is another posting from him regarding Michaela ….. His last comment is rather interesting concerning the JW who has stated that she was not at the meeting on 3 May. I wonder if he will be ‘asked’ to change his story, as per the priest!!!
BRIAN,
THIS GET’S BETTER AND BETTER, MICHAELA LIED ABOUT WHERE SHE WAS WHEN MADDIE WAS TAKEN!!
ANGIE…
reply
Yes, seems to be that way…and if true…she must be hiding something…else why makeup an alibi. Think about this question…how often have any of us reading this have had to lie about where we were? I guessing not too often…if not at all…obviously it was not to cover up an extra marital affair.
I still do not think she was taken from PDL, and if she was, maybe she was returned…perpahps whoever’s job it was to hand her off was not able to do so…with all the media hype…whoever wanted her…did not want to take the risk. So she was returned to Murat’s house…I did not see this at all in my dreams, but I’m trying to come up with any possibility how she could still be there.
Is it possible that Murat’s Russian computer expert friend needed a photo of Madeleine for one of his website’s…let’s say in Russia? Could this explain Roberts call to him a few hours after Madeleine went missing?
Brian
PS…I also think that the PJ did confirm she was at the church meeting…but they just did not tell Tiofilo about it. Might be a good idea to see if the PJ talk to him now, and if he like the preacher, changes his story too.

Hey Isla:
I already knew about Comare.. thx.. but ineresting blurb about the PM’s relationship etc.. to Gerry!!!!!!!!!-
I think you are right about Murat…….. he is acting too calmly versus at the very beginning. And I think all of these sightings are no good!! - Someone is just trying to get the attn away from the initial place so they can either move Maddie around etc..- that’s what I think at least.. what about you? -
November 25th, 2007 at 12:51 am
Hi All
This was from Brian Ladd … I’ve sent it to Kate and Gerry on the Find Madeleine website. I really hope they take notice, and act on it!!!
IMPORTANT: I realize that the odds of Madeleine being at Murat’s house is a million to one…but after several attempts at lucid dreaming and the past few nights of dreams…I’m still convinced that she is either there or very close. Please remember there is a possibility that if Madeleine was taken from the home, she may have been taken back due to any number o
I’m also feeling that she needs to be located soon…again I have posted a map of the most likely area’s I think she could be. I suggest a intensive search starting at Murat’s mom’s house, and work out from there to at least a 1,000 foot radius. If you’re a psychic or know one that’s able to feel people’s locations via maps, please ask them for help.

Note:
If she’s been a Jehova’s witness cast aside for over 1year.. that means that she couldn’t have been in a meeting!!!!! They would not have allowed her to attend it!!- right??? -

I just did a search and came across this info on this site :
jehovahs-witnesses-news.blogspot.com
***********
The alibi of Madeleine McCann suspect Robert Murat’s girlfriend has been thrown into doubt.
Friends of Michaela Walczuch claimed she had told police she was at a Jehovah’s Witness prayer meeting on the night three-year-old Madeleine vanished.
But a woman at the church said she was not at the meeting while other worshippers said she was “cast aside” by their community more than a year ago.
They claimed Portuguese police had not taken the trouble to check her alibi.
A man at the church, who refused to give his name but said he was a “brother” in the group, said: “I haven’t been interviewed. The police haven’t been here.”
The man, identified by locals as Teofilo Castela, refused to say why Miss Walczuch, 34, was thrown out of the congregation.
But she is known to have been seeing Mr Murat for almost two years while still living with estranged husband Luis Antonio. The strange set-up was thought to have angered Jehovah’s Witness elders.
Mr Castela said. “She was cast aside. It was before this year. The church has certain rules and they must not be broken.”
Claims that Miss Walczuch was at the church would have given her a solid alibi for the night that Madeleine disappeared.
The Jehovah’s Witness group in Lagos holds Thursday night meetings between 8.30pm and 10.15pm, and Madeleine vanished between 9pm and 10pm on the night of May 3, which was a Thursday.
If witnesses had agreed that she was there, it would have placed her five miles from Praia da Luz where Madeleine vanished.
But a woman at the church - a gloomy, badly lit room at the bottom of a rundown block of flats - denied Miss Walczuch attended the May 3 meeting.

Hi everyone:
Can someone by any chance help to find anything anywhere on Jehova meetings in Lisbon? Usually when you try to find a religion somewhere and where they meet they usually come up on the net… I cannot find anything …… - we need to know for sure if there was a meeting somewhere during that time….. -

“’Murat lover was eyeing my niece’” – Tourist Graham Desuys says he saw Michaela Walczuch “staring” at “blonde-haired Zoe” and her younger brother Conner in Praia da Luz. It is one month before Madeleine vanished
Says the Briton: “She was just looking at my niece and nephew, it was very off-putting. When my partner and I walked past the woman in the street she seemed to get a bit scared and turned away as if to hide” – Were they staring at her to see if she was “staring” at them?
He goes on: “I have no doubt it as her [Walczuch] and it unnerving to think she could have been checking out my family”
November 24th, 2007 at 6:50 pm
“Walczuch lives five miles from Praia da Luz in Lagos with her estranged husband Portuguese husband pool-cleaner Luis Antonio, 47, and their eight year-old daughter. She set up a property business called Romigen with Murat. In a bizarre living arrangement Murat lived at the flat for six months to conduct an affair with Walczuch while Antonio was still there”
So was she in Silves, where the Portuguese truck driver says he saw her hand over a child?
The “WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER” reports: “Silves was the scene of the attempted child abduction last year. Three-year-old Carolina Santos, who is blonde with blue eyes, was found being led away from the family cafe near the town of Silves by a man last year… Father Abel Santos, 40, said: ‘We were busy working in the kitchen and came out to find out she wasn’t there. ‘I searched around for her and saw her some way away on the road with a man I took to be Moroccan. We started towards them shouting and Carolina stopped and turned towards us. He disappeared around the bend.’ His wife Lina, 28, added: ‘It was very strange because Carolina is very shy and doesn’t go with strangers. When I asked her what happened she said he told her that he had another little girl for her to play with’” – Was Madeleine McCann kidnapped in Portugal before she went missing?

Portuguese police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann are not interested in the girlfriend of suspect Robert Murat, it has been claimed.
Michaela Walczuch had told police she was at a church meeting on the night Madeleine vanished - but Britain’s national newspapers have attacked her claim.
Witnesses identified Murat’s girlfriendNow, a friend of Mr Murat’s family has said detectives have not contacted Miss Walczuch since the allegations against her emerged.
From the start of the investigation, witnesses have claimed they saw Ms Walczuch with Madeleine, first in Portugal two days after the little girl disappeared, and then in Morocco 41 days later.
The reports are being investigated by Spanish private detective agency Metodo 3, which has been hired by Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann to help find their daughter.

I found this part of article.
Mrs Rocco’s (rental car cie) evidence is supported by the form Mr Murat signed when he collected the Hyundai at 5.16pm that day, providing his address in Hockering, Norfolk, rather than the Algarve. If any car were needed, Mr Murat’s mother’s green VW van, seen in the area that weekend, seems to have been available.
Police are also focusing their inquiries on telephone calls between Mr Murat and a Russian computer scientist, Sergey Malinka. One of these was reportedly made by Mr Malinka a few minutes after 10pm on 3 May - the time when Madeleine’s parents discovered she was missing from her room at a Mark Warner resort in the west Algarve resort .

Hi Mike:
Not sure…:(- and he seemed to be quite in ahurry too apparently calling his ex wife !- Why was he so anxious?? And now he seems to be mighty calm doesn’t he???? -I’m almost 99.9 % sure that they are involved including possibly O’brien. Why don’t they take a lie detector test?? That’s what I want to know??????And which company did Michaela use to get her hire car? If it’s the same as Murat I read that they only had 2 cars to rent then!!
November 23rd, 2007 at 3:32 pm
Can anyone remember the time line when Murat hired that car, I do remember it was only for a couple of days, he reportedly said: ” His mother was using his car so he hired a car just to get round. ”
just in case I have e-mailed Metodo3 and have asked them if the truck drivers discription matches the hire car that Murat hired out at that time.
I recall that Brian Ladd’s site had numerous posts about that car so I will have to go back on and check back.
Miss Walczuch’s Skoda car was having a gearbox problem repaired on May 5, the day a lorry driver claims to have seen her in the town of Silves, 25 miles away.
Mr Pagarete says this means Miss Walczuch was almost certainly in Lagos.
But the witness has told detectives the woman he later identified as Miss Walczuch was driving a hire car, described as “distinctive”.
She has failed to reveal, however, where she was on May 5 and June 15, when two separate witnesses claim to have seen her with Madeleine.

Hi all I came across this on another site. I don’t know if it is interesting or not. Probably not.
”The house where the McCanns stayed in Praia da Luz, Lagos, Algarve, belongs to a woman also called McCann and not to the Ocean Club.
Confronted with the possibility of being a relative of Maddie’s parents, Clarence Mitchell denied saying that is “a strange and remarkable coincidence”.
The apartment A, number 5, locate at Rua Dr. Agostinho da Silva, Montes da Luz Urbanization, Praia da luz, is registered with the number 3666.
In 2001 the house was bought by a kind of society belonging to Daniel John Aldred, Michael William McCann and the daughter of the latest (daughter of his 1st marriage) Donna Michelle Aldred and the wife, Ruth Margaret McCann. Michael McCann born in Devonport, Plymouth was a widow when he married Margaret Ruth Pittaway, now with 53 years old also a widow in 1987.
In 2005 Michael and Ruth bought the part of the Aldred couple keeping each of them 50% of the apartment.
Later in July 2006 Michael McCann died in Liverpool and in November of the same year Ruth McCann inherited his part becoming the only proprietor.”

Hi Isla-5069
That was some sickening post. Does it ever occur to anyone that the church has never allowed woman to have any kind of authority, until recently that is, but much to the annoyance to some church leaders. Know I know why.
I have printed off that article and will be giving it to any JW’s that come knocking at my door.

Hi Kirstie the PJ and PA are digging a big hole for themselves that they might difficult to get out of and that will have repercussions for all of Portugal for years to come. They have been gagging witnesses and yet allowing their Press to have a field day with this couple AND worse still their children by ‘leaking’ fairy stories such as sedation, not biological father to swinging. It’s an absolute disgrace that the McCanns have had to deal with losing Madeleine, trying to find her with no help from the PJ, in fact if anything they have been an absolute hindrance, and having to deal with all these additional factors. The Portuguese Press and their British counterparts are also at the root of the hatred that has been whipped up against the couple. They have almost surely deprived other missing children from being found as who in their right mind would ever want to take the route that the McCanns have taken in finding Madeleine? Their ideas and methods were brilliant but have backfired on them through the sheer disinterest, jealousy and spite of a number of key individuals, the mindset of morons and of course the money grubbing Press. None of whom are one bit interested in Madeleine.
As to these other poor J. W. children. It’s bad enough that they are being abused by people they know but when they live in a society within a society it must be totally hellish. Many of them must also grow up to be adults and still live in that community seeing their abuser every day of their lives. God knows. if the statistics are right many will go onto becoming abusers themselves. You remembered the disgusting guys name ‘Porter’. I e-mailed a number of people too and wrote to his JW branch at the time. Too bad that many ordinary people will be trusting them and allowing them into their homes. Too bad that many decent J W members will be tarred with the same brush. However they are the people who should be tossing them out of their Church. As you say another safe haven for paedophiles. I just despair for the whole human race.
Hi Mike when R. Murat hired a car I remember reading that they (he and his mother) didn’t just have 2 cars. They had numerous cars plus a people carrier, which I found strange. Maybe the hired car doubled as one to cover M. W’s broken down car plus whatever R. Murat was doing. I have also thought it strange that he hired the car under his wife’s address and not his mothers. Can anyone think of a practical reason as to someone doing that? It’s not as though you get a discount or anything. Additionally, anytime that we hire cars abroad we have to give our present resident address and our home address, because we are on holiday. Can anyone remember if the car was hired from a PDL company or outside PDL? That might be important if there was a PDL company but he didn’t use it.
As to M3 it doesn’t sound good, but if CRG recommended them who knows?
Hi Sally I noticed the Fazakerley Hospital and wondered about it. It is in Liverpool. That’s where K. M. comes from. That name also rings a bell with me in relation to something else I have read about in relation to Madelene - an agent in the military?
Hi Swissmiss you are interested in the Comare connection so I have dug out some information for you. I have to mention by the way that I don’t think that Gordon Brown has anything to do with this at all. He is one of the most decent politicians around. Some people may not agree with his politics but his moral standards are above reproach. The following has been constructed by an ordinary ‘anti-McCann’ poster on another site.
”For all you journalists out there, please clarify and confirm if the following relationships are true. We need some serious investigative journalism.
-have had nice telephone chats together.
-Clarence Mitchell is the Head of Media Monitoring for the govt.
-He is also personal friend of Gerry, and has been representing Gerry
(on behalf of govt or himself? ) from the very beginning.
-Andrew is P.M.s brother and is involved with EDF Energy which is
Europe’s largest nuclear energy producer. Andrew Brown is the media director for EDF energy, who are lobbying to build nuclear power stations in Britain.
Gordon Brown wants to restart the nuclear power plant building programme in Britain.
-Gerry McCann is a member of a government quango called COMARE (Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment) which has repeatedly come out in opposition to campaigners who claim that childhood cancers are more prevalent around nuclear power stations
Question: since when is a cardiologist have the experience to
comment on radiation?
“Bell Pottinger represent both the McCanns and the Portuguese holiday village they were staying in. Bell Pottinger also provide PR for the nuclear power industry, have close connections with New Labour (Tony Blair gave Tim Bell his peerage), have helped sell New labours unique vision of democracy in Iraq and and have been heavily involved with several of New labours disastrous IT schemes ”
-Julia Hobsbawm was a partner in Hobsbawm Macaulay Communications with Sarah Macaulay, now known as Sarah Brown, the wife of British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.
Julia Hobsbawm is now the founder and chief executive of media analysis and networking company Editorial Intelligence.
http://editorialintelligence.com
And this is where it gets very interesting.
SKY NEWS and the GMC (General Medical Council) are clients of Editorial
Analysis. Please clarify and confirm?
(Julia Hobsbawm is also a trustee of the Jewish Community Centre for London - supported by none other than Sir Philip Green - loaner of jet and reward provider to the McCanns).
T
APAS 7 , UNNAMED PERSON
-When the ‘abduction theory” first spun its webs, there was mention of the Tapas 7, and one party who could not be named.
-Could the unamed person be Peter McCann who is supposed to
be an Uncle and who has a house in Gozo, Malta.
-There was also mention of sighting in Malta, in amongst Morocco, Spain etc.

ETER McCANN, CASTLE CRAIG
-Castle Craig is an exclusive private hospital (but gets NHS funding) in
Scotland and all the directors are as follows:
See about Us then Key Staff
>
Castle Craig Hospital
Directors
Peter McCann MA, ICADC Chairman
Dr Margaret Ann McCann, MB Bch BAO Medical Director
Dr. Michael G. McCann , MD , MA , DIH, MFOM Director
John L McCann BA ACIS Financial Director/Administrator
Castle Craig Hospital is located in 50 acres of grounds in the Scottish Borders. It is a residential hospital for the inpatient treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. The hospital is registered with the relevant statutory body, namely the Scottish Care Commission. It is a major contractor to the National Health Service and is recognised by the major medical insurers in the U.K. Many insurance companies from other countries fund the treatment at Castle Craig. The hospital is a Preferred Provider to the U.S. Government under the Tricare programme and it is also recognised by the Dutch insurance companies.
There is mention of a holiday home in Gozo, Malta. Is this the same
uncle?
Peter and Dr. Margaret Ann McCann says”
Both myself and Margaret Ann have presented at many conferences, written papers and belong to a number of professional organisations. In particular Margaret Ann served on the Executive of the Medical Council on Alcohol and I have just been elected a Board Member of the International Council of Alcohol and Addictions. I was also the Founder of the European Association for Treatment of Addiction (EATA).
In our personal life we have been blessed with four delightful children, now aged from 18 to 24. Victoria is a graduate of Newcastle and Stirling Universities and has obtained an MSc in P.R. from the latter. Dominic is final year History at Edinburgh University. Felicity is in her second year at Bristol University Medical School and Peter is awaiting a place in Medical School. We all share an interest in sailing and are fortunate in having
a lovely house in Gozo
which was paid for many years ago with a small inheritance. We continue to have family holidays together. We also allow staff at Castle Craig and close friends to use the house and it has been a charitable auction prize on several occasions.
Castle Craig has an extended contracts with the US Defence Department treating military personnel for addictions.
Des Browne (our own Defence Sectretary - and another Scot) has been under increasing pressure to deal with our own force’s drink and drug problems (in light of the scandal brought about by the HMS Cornwall affair in April).
http://scotlandonsunday.scotsm…..=753452006
It is entirely likely that given Castle Craig’s experience in treating US military personnel they have sough Peter McCann’s advice on treating our own military personnel.
Perhaps Castle Craig even treated servicemen on board the HMS Cornwall, who knows.
That would certainly explain why they slipped into Iranian territory.
Here is something that Peter McCann wrote last year. It might lend weight to rumours about cabinet members and family members having used Castle Craig. See what you think:
“We also read today, about the inappropriate way that Liberal Democrats covered up on their former leaders alcoholism. This is a typical response we see throughout industry and institutions when members of organisations try to cover up for their sick colleagues. It is quite disgraceful that politicians weld so much power while addicted and when their judgment must be warped. This applies to all political parties. Addiction must be confronted at all times and tough love applies to politicians just as much as to doctors, lawyers and family members. ”
-Castle Craig has a branch in Holland. Gerry worked in Holland.
-Jill Renwick is a friend of Gerry, and she lives down the road or same
strees as John Brown, who is Gordon Brown’s brother.
-maybe nothing here, and just poor John Brown caught in it all.
SO WE HAVE MEDIA, POLITICS, DRUG REHAB, NUCLEAR…anyone join the dots and clarify all of this which is a combination of internet sleuthing?
November 23rd, 2007 at 2:43 pm
Oh I forgot to say that the other powerful organisation is the church!
November 23rd, 2007 at 2:40 pm
Swissmiss-5067
I think it is government related!
The most powerful organisations in the world are the Governments, Royalty, Police force and the mafia and everyone of that organisation have their bad apples that make up some of the most dangerous paedophile rings ever! Everyone in the world knows about Madeleine so how come she hasn’t been found or someone hasn’t come forward with info.
The people that took Madeleine didn’t bank on her parents making such a noise about it along with the rest of the world. I think that Madeleine is very much alive and is being hidden somewhere were no-one else has access without going through official channels, and anyone looking for Madeleine won’t get the permission from the ‘official chaneels’because its them that has her in the first place. As the months go by I get very scared that we may never find Madeleine and Kate and Gerry are always going to be suspects in their precious daughters abduction.
If and when these evil ppl get caught I hope they do not live in the UK because for once in my life I would like to see them all go to the chair! The PJ should be prosecuted for their incompetence from day one!
November 23rd, 2007 at 2:18 pm
Hi everyone:
I kind of noticed that too on M3 website! -but didn’t really think of any of it until your article Mike!! - I think she is still alive from the Shrimpton document!!!!!!! - and that possibly a royalty might have her.
November 23rd, 2007 at 12:59 pm
Mike, hi,
it doesn’t sound so good does it?? I hope this is not them gearing up to say they couldn’t find her. I can’t see why they would take this case on and surely if they are so well respected they wouldn’t need the publicity, if they didn’t truly think they could find Madeleine.
Please don’t be another disappointment!
