Anthony, why are the McCanns not partially to blame for their daughter being taken? There are attempted abductions every day, children taken, abused and killed. This happens more often than i care to think about. So yes, i agree if there had been someone trying to get into apartments or lurking around, everyone should have been made aware of this. But even if that had not happened. You dont leave children left unattended, and that goes for anyone who was at the MW resort or any other resort that people go to on holiday. So where as i accept that if Madeleine was taken, the person who abducted her, is guilty of that. But her parents are guilty of giving that person the opportunity to be able to commit this crime. They let their children down. I am a parent, and i am responsible for my child, until she is old enough to leave home and look after herself, even then i doubt the feeling of responsibility will stop there. But now, whilst my daughter is young, i will do my utmost everyday to keep her safe. I dont put that responsibility on anyone but me. If i mess up with that, and she was taken from me, because i left her alone, didnt think through what my actions could lead to. Then i would have to face up to that, and admit it. We seem to live in a world where everyone wants to blame everyone else and never accept their role or look at their own actions. At school, teachers are blamed for childrens bad behaviour, not the parents. As a society need to take responsibility for our own actions.
I dont agree with all the lies that have been spread around about the McCanns. I dont agree with just hurting people or making them an easy target. I imagine every day must be a living hell for them, if they have had nothing to do with their childs disappearance. I cant imagine how it must feel to go to bed, thinking that your child is with paedophiles, to live with that every waking day, and to wake up to that thought every morning. I dont know how i would live with that. Its just too horrible to even think about. I like you Anthony, pray for the small girl who is out there somewhere, dead or alive, i pray she is reunited with her family soon.

to lauren,the mccanns were losing a child no matter what they did and all the other doctors left their kids alone as well,it is a common policy for the holiday complex,what i do find interesting is that a couple of months before that a british nanny said she saw a man trying to steal from her apartment,5a which is the same apartment as the mccanns also there were several attempts to take a child in the weeks before she went missing,do you not think that the police should have been warning people and the managment of the mark warner complex should have told its guests to be extra special careful as a snatcher was on the loose,it is easy in hindsight to blame the mccanns but they were not the ones who took their child,i used to slag them off for leaving their kids but i am way past that now,i do not feel that they are to blame for what happened now and the way they are being treated is terrible,the only reason madeline mccann is still missing is the attempts of the pj police to blame the mccanns and give up looking for her,
i hope there is a happy ending to this but only time will tell,i can only say to the mccanns to FIGHT AND DO NOT STOP FIGHTING.

Re 5133. My personal opinion is that someone did abduct Maddie, but nothing has been proven to back that up. As in forensics or anything of that nature. Only one witness, Jane Tanner, who just saw someone with a child, which isnt enough on its own to back up the abduction theory. My other remarks were made as there is a consensus of opinion on this forum that anyone seen to be making anti McCann remarks, is a bad person. You only have to read back on some of the most recent posts to see that to be true. As i said, the only facts are that Madeleine is missing and her parents left her alone with her siblings. The rest is just supposition

is the man discovered lurking in the bushes the same man that was lurking in the alcove 22 steps from where madeline was taken.he shoutede no no as he ran away in english not portougese and the man at the bottom of the stairs was english too much of a strange coincedince there for me,if it is him then i would bet that he took madeline and knows where she is now,him and others must be questioned again.
we can wonder all day where she is but as long as the mccanns do not say what they know you are more or less shooting in the dark here,,,
the only man who knows where she is beige trousers has not been named yet but he is the only one who knows where she is as he took her and was last person seen with her,
from the night she was taken they have all said she was dead even though there is nothing to say she was killed that night,i think that she lived for a good while after that night and may still be alive today as being worth 10 million pounds they would have tried to cash in on the body or try and draw the heat off them as if she is dead then everything stops looking,

I agree, some of these forums are full of ghastly people who are more interested in locking the McCann up or what colour earrings Kate wore that day, they seem to fill their day up attacking and persecuting the McCann’s the first change they get, and it’s not like the McCann’s are suffering beyond belief knowing that their daughter could be harmed by the ppl that took her. These narrow minded ppl take every bit of scandal written about the McCanns as gospel. Yep these ppl sure are more bothered about all that then they are in finding Madeleine. Re 5130. I dont like the terms pro McCann or anti McCann. It should be about Maddie and the facts. There are no facts other than Madeleine McCann went missing on the 3rd of May, her parents left her and her siblings alone and Maddie has not been seen since. There is nothing to support that she has been abducted and there is nothing that supports the parents have harmed her. All of the sightings have proved fruitless. All there are is theory and counter theories. There is nothing concrete for anyone to be forming allegiances either way. A child has gone missing. Possibly taken by or now in the hands of paedophiles. Yet most people on these forums seem way more interested in scoring points off each other and making judgements about what each person must be like, because of their opinion. Seems you are bad if you are anti Mc, in anyway and good if you are pro. How pathetic is that.

I felt that I had no option but to call the police when I met Robert Murat just three days after Madeleine’s disappearance.
At the time, I wasn’t sure if I had done the wrong thing to speak up. But if Murat has
been hiding a dark secret, at least I know I did all I could to help police uncover the truth.
This week, I was asked to go to the HQ of Metodo 3 - the private investigators hired by the McCanns.They wanted me to give evidence in Barcelona about what I saw and heard of Murat.
I was interviewed by the firm’s chief, Francisco Marco, and two of his colleagues. He asked me to give a detailed statement of everything Murat said to me when we spoke outside the McCanns’ apartment.
They were intensely interested as I told how he claimed he was a translator working for the Portuguese police and, as such, had offered to brief me on the investigation. I explained how he was always present at the scene during the first few days.
They asked why I became suspicious of him and I described how his behaviour unnerved me. He asked me more questions than he answered and shifted nervously when I quizzed him about his own background.
He fuelled suspicion by professing intimate knowledge of the probe, saying police had searched a three kilometre radius and found nothing and he believed Madeleine had been spirited away to Spain as police took 15 hours to alert border police.
Murat also told me he had spoken to Kate and Gerry the day after Madeleine vanished, describing them as being “distraught” and “panicked”. I have since learnt the McCanns insist they have never met him.
The last time I saw him - a week after Madeleine was taken - he was on a balcony looking down at the police activity.
I still have no idea if he is guilty. But if he was involved, I know I did what I could to help the investigation.

A British mum has told how a woman resembling Robert Murat’s girlfriend tried to enter the apartment where her daughter was - just a month before Madeleine McCann was abducted.
Karen Sixsmith says the woman looked like Murat’s lover Michaela Walczuch, who is a Jehovah’s Witness.
She knocked at her door in the same Portuguese holiday complex where Madeleine was taken and claimed to be a Jehovah’s Witness.
Accompanied by a man, the mystery woman was anxious to get into the apartment where Karen’s own daughter Kate was. She said she wanted to discuss her faith.
Deeply unsettled by the incident, Karen called Leicester police - the McCanns’ local force - after Madeleine disappeared to report her concerns. But she heard nothing back.
Now, after studying pictures of German-born Walczuch, 34, who has been linked to two alleged sightings of Madeleine, Karen has come forward again. And she believes it was Walczuch who called at her door - “I just can’t get it out of my head that it may have been Murat and his girlfriend on my doorstep.”
Her testimony - given to the Sunday Mirror so we could pass it on to the McCanns’ private investigators Metodo 3 in Barcelona - comes after Walczuch’s alibi for the night Madeleine vanished from Praia da Luz was contradicted. She had claimed to have been at a Jehovah’s Witness meeting. For their holiday, Karen and husband Graham had rented an apartment at the Ocean Club complex opposite the one later occupied by the McCanns.
Two days after they arrived, the family decided to stay in because it was raining.
But at 12.30pm, they were surprised to hear a knock on the door, especially as the apartment block was deserted as it was out of season at the end of March.
Karen said: “It was a blonde woman, 35 to 40 years old, English-speaking. She had a pamphlet and I knew straight away that she was a Jehovah’s Witness. She asked if she could come into the apartment to talk about her faith. I took the pamphlet from her and closed the door. I now think it may have been Murat and his girlfriend.”
The couple, from Bowden, Cheshire, believe the visit could have been a distraction while a third person checked out the access to the apartment. Electrician Graham, 50, said: “It’s a bit scary, looking back.” Karen added: “I have thought ever since Madeleine disappeared that Kate could have been a target - and that is terrifying.”
Kate is strikingly similar to Madeleine. Her mum said: “Kate would have stood out a mile with her blonde hair and blue eyes - just like Madeleine.”
Karen told how, having seen Walczuch’s photo in newspapers, she now believes it was her knocking at their door. “I remember her features very clearly,” she said. And when photographer Karen read Walczuch had claimed in her alibi to be a Jehovah’s Witness, she felt sure it was her who had knocked at the door.
Her testimony is made even more significant by yesterday’s revelation that Walczuch was booted out of the Jehovah’s Witnesses a year ago - a direct contradiction to the alibi she gave police. She told them she was at a Jehovah’s meeting in Lagos, four miles from Praia da Luz, on the night of May 3. But church elder Brother Teofilo Castila said: “She was thrown out of the church a year ago.”
Last week a lorry driver contacted investigators to say he saw a girl he believes was Madeleine in a car with Walczuch on May 5 at Silves, 25 miles from Praia da Luz. And Spanish tourist Isabel Gonzalez, 60, alleges she saw Madeleine with Walczuch in Morocco on June 15.
In a separate development, a nanny has come forward to say she saw Murat, 34, trying to open the window of apartment 5A six months before Madeleine was snatched as she slept.
The Ocean Club worker contacted Metodo 3 to say she found him outside the flat where she was babysitting a boy of six.
She said it was a Thursday night - the same night Madeleine vanished - because it was “tennis night” at the resort and the boy’s parents had gone to play.
When she saw the man trying to lift the shutters, she shouted and he ran off. The nanny identified him to Metodo 3 as Murat.
Meanwhile, another witness has said he found porn on Murat’s laptop when he went to see web expert Sergey Malinka, a pal of Murat’s, four years ago. He was told it belonged to Murat, but had been with Malinka to be repaired. His statement contradicts claims by Malinka and Murat - who deny any involvement - that they had not known each other for long before Madeleine vanished.
The McCanns faced new slurs in Portuguese paper 24 Horas that they were investigated for selling Madeleine to a criminal gang “because of financial difficulties”. But detectives found the couple had no money problems.

I do have one question in re: to the night in Maddie’s abduction night… - I forgot the time that Gerry went to check on Maddie.. but who was the person BEFORE Kate that had gone to check on them? Was it Gerry or O’brien? And it is really weird that O’brien and Tanner were gone for a long time at the same time!-

On October 29, a fisherman discovered the body in a blue Sterilite plastic container on an uninhabited island in Galveston’s West Bay.
Police dubbed the dead girl “Baby Grace,” and asked the public for help in identifying her.
A medical examiner said the child’s skull was fractured, and a forensic dentist estimated her age at 2 to 3 years.

I’m still here, but only for as long as it takes for me to type this!!!!
Why, if Kate McCann suffered from this depression, would she have waited until they were on a weeks holiday to do something about Madeleine. Surely, you are more relaxed whilst you are away from the stresses and strains of work etc. The police have been an absolute unprofessional mess from the very beginning, and they are still trying to cover up the horrendous mess they have made.
I can remember the day after Madeleine was abducted, the BBC were out there and Richard Bilton was searching the scrub land along with some of the police. There was an old outbuilding and one of the police just peered through one of the cracks in the door. Richard asked why he wasn’t going to search inside the building, and the police officer replied that it was private property and they had no jurisdiction to go in there. Richard Bilton was absolutely ‘gobsmacked’. He said at the time that the search was so minimal that it was absurd.
I feel so desperate for this little girl, my whole life has gone on hold since the day she went missing. My number 1 daughter said to my number 3 daughter, what on earth should we buy mum for Christmas, she is so awkward to buy for. My number 3 daughter said ‘All she wants is for Madeleine to be found, and reunited with her parents, that would be her best Christmas present ever’. And do you know, she is right, that is my dearest wish.

Thanks for this article Isla ….. Panorama walk-out over McCann film …. I have posted it onto another forum who always seem intent on crucifying the McCanns. It may give them something to think about.
I have read an article today in the Sunday Telegraph, where the header states ‘The search for Madeleine : is there no hope left? With no new leads, the Portuguese police are winding down their inquiry, the missing girl is barely mentioned in Praia da Luz and even the McCanns must move on.’ How on earth can they ‘move on’ I would be in complete suspended animation, I really don’t think I would be able to function, even with two other children. I would give them the love and attention that they needed, but my mind would be constantly focusing on Madeleine. People seem to compare them with a parent who has lost a child by dying, but they can never do that because there is no closure in Madeleine’s case. Even though it is a tragedy, such as in little Rhys Jones’s case, but at least they know what happened to him, and they were able to grieve.
Even though this firm Metodo3 now seem to be convinced that Murat and girlfriend have been involved in some way, Murat + 1 are sticking by their story that they have had nothing to do with Madeleine’s abduction. So, what on earth can these detectives do, other than use thumb screws or some other form of torture on them to make them talk. Brian Ladd still seems to think that Murat is some way involved, that she is still within a 1,000 metre radius of Murat’s house. What on earth will happen if they are all wrong???? Precious time will be have wasted again. After nearly seven months Madeleine could be anywhere, even if Murat was the one who took her. If it was him, how on earth would he know where she is now. I really don’t think they have had any significant breakthroughs, and all the talk about knowing who her kidnappers are, and they will soon find her, is a load of balony. Unless of course they are feeding all these stories to the papers for some hidden reason.
Every time I look in the papers and see that beautiful little face I feel so desperately sad. The picture of her today in the Telegraph is particularly heart wrenching.
For God’s sake, I appeal to you, as Isla has done previously, if you are reading this and have any idea where Madeleine is please take her somewhere safe, where she can be found straight away and taken home to her mummy and daddy. You have the power to make the spirit of Christmas come true for thousands of people. What a fantastic feeling that will be.

Portuguese police ‘believed Kate and Gerry sold Madeleine to paedophiles’

Police investigated whether Kate and Gerry McCann could have sold their daughter to paedophiles, it has been claimed.
Portuguese detectives thought the couple might have sold Madeleine to a criminal network to ease money worries, according to sources.
They spent “several days” investigating but the wild theory fell apart when they realised the couple were wealthy.
A police source told the Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas: “The police team in charge of the case investigated the possibility that the child had been sold by her own parents because of financial difficulties.”
Detectives tried to inspect bank statements but were forced to conclude that the couple did not have money problems. The McCanns, who are both doctors, live in a £500,000 house in Rothley, Leicestershire.
Police were said to be suspicious about reports that Mrs McCann screamed:
“They’ve taken her” when she realised Madeleine was missing. She insists she shouted: “She’s gone.”
Detectives have been unable to seize the couple’s bank statements, phone records covering this May or their medical records. The public prosecutor in the case has refused to authorise such moves unless he sees stronger evidence against them.
The McCanns were made formal suspects after sniffer dogs allegedly detected the “scent of death” in the boot of their hire car and found microscopic traces of blood in their holiday apartment.
They deny any involvement in their daughter’s disappearance. Leaks from inside the police investigation have suggested that officers now believe Madeleine died as the result of an accident in the Ocean Club holiday complex and that the McCanns hid her body.
Some reports have suggested that detectives believe she was sedated so she would sleep while her parents went out for dinner nearby and that she died of an accidental overdose, which the couple had to cover up to protect their professional reputations.
But independent tests on hair samples from the McCanns’ two-year-old twins Sean and Amelie in September found no trace that they had been drugged.
Mrs McCann’s mother Susan Healy has accused Portuguese police of planting evidence to frame her daughter. She said: “This is a set-up. Madeleine is Kate and Gerry’s world. They would never do anything to harm her.”
It was also claimed yesterday that police had investigated whether Kate McCann was suffering from a bipolar mental disorder. Detectives asked to see her medical records amid wild allegations that she could have killed Madeleine during a fit of manic depression, 24 Horas reported.
It is the latest in a series of smears from within the Portuguese police investigation, which have also alleged Mrs McCann suffered from ‘hysteria’ and clinical depression which left her unable to cope with her young family – claims she has always denied.
The latest report even suggested there had been a cover-up in the British medical community to bar Portuguese police from seeing the couple’s medical records.
The paper said: “The main suspicion falls upon Kate McCann due to her depressive history which – according to evaluations carried out by police experts – pointed to possible deviant behaviour connected to bipolarity.”
It quoted a police source as saying:
“The fact they are both doctors and they have good reputations in England made investigations about their clinical history even more difficult. Indeed, it remains a secret.”
Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression, is characterised by extreme mood swings, from deep depression to extreme euphoria.
It can lead to loss of control and even suicidal thoughts, and severe cases are usually managed with drugs. The Daily Mail told on Saturday how Mrs McCann, 39, had drug tests in September to prove she was not on anti-depressants when Madeleine went missing.
Results of the toxicology tests on hair samples from the mother of three showed no evidence of drugs in her body at any stage in the last eight months.

A DROGHEDA family who may hold vital clues as to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have hit out at media distortion of evidence that they have given to Portuguese police.
Maple Drive man Martin Smith, his wife and his children had just left the Kelly bar, which is located approximately 400 metres from the McCanns apartment at the Ocean Club between 9.50-10pm on the night Madeleine disappeared.
They returned to Ireland the next day, and because the reported abduction times didn?t originally match, they never had cause to examine their journey that night.
As it emerged that Madeleine was abducted around the same time, one of the family members had a flashback of the moment some time later and encouraged the others to jog their memory.
They remembered passing a man walking towards the beach with a child in his arms.
Other than his approximate height and the fact that he was wearing beige clothes they cannot be more specific than that. We are annoyed at how vague our description is,? said the family member.
The family contacted the Portuguese police and flew back over to give evidence.
However, contrary to media reports, Mr Smith had not seen chief suspect Robert Murat in a bar the evening that Madeleine was abducted. He definitely didn’t see him on the night in question, said a family member.
The family are also mystified at reports that he knows Mr Murat.They met once in a bar about two years ago. My dad would only know Mr Murat by sight, said the family member.However, from what he knows, he can say that the man who was carrying the child was not Robert Murat.

The first official suspect in the case of Madeleine McCann has issued a desperate plea to the McCanns to intervene and end the “smear campaign” against him and his girlfriend.

Robert Murat, 34, and his German girlfriend Michaela Walczuch, 32, are said to be at the centre of the investigation led by Metodo 3, the Spanish detective agency hired by Kate and Gerry McCann to find their daughter.
But Mr Murat and his girlfriend of two years both deny any involvement in the four-year-old’s disappearance on May 3 and are angry that leaks from the detective agency have turned the focus on them.
The agency claims that they have received new information that links both Mr Murat and Ms Walczuch to the abduction of Madeleine McCann.
They are said to be following up two alleged sightings of a woman identified by witnesses as Ms Walczuch with a child matching Madeleine’s description.
And it has also been reported that they had spoken to a nanny at the resort who in December had seen a man who “looked identical” to Mr Murat attempting to break into apartment 5A - the apartment later rented by the McCanns at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz.
But Mr Murat, who shares a villa with his 71-year-old mother less than 100 yards from the Ocean Club, claims he was visiting the UK at that time and it could not have been him.
“Robert went to the UK at the end of October and remained there until January of this year,” said a friend of Mr Murat.
The friend said the accusation was just the latest in a series of slurs against the couple in the past week.
“These claims against Michaela and Robert are outrageous and complete lies,” said the friend.
“These continuous unfounded attacks are taking the focus away from the areas that should be investigated,” the friend said, adding that Ms Walczuch, who has an eight-year-old daughter, was finding life increasingly difficult.
“It seems to be open season on a young mother and Robert thinks someone from the McCann camp should put a stop to it. It’s about time someone did.”
The home that he shares with his mother less than a hundred yards from the McCanns holiday apartment was searched but police found no evidence to link him to Madeleine’s disappearance. He has never been charged.
Ms Walczuch, a Jehovah’s Witness, and her estranged husband, Luis Antonio, 37, were questioned at the time and then released.
All three deny any involvement in Madeleine’s disappearance but are not allowed to speak publicly about the case because of Portugal’s strict secrecy laws.
A source close to the McCanns said the couple have not and never would speak publicly about Mr Murat or anyone else being investigated.
Clarence Mitchell, the McCann’s official spokesman said: “We continue to work closely with Metodo 3 and collectively are always careful about what detail enters the public domain for operational reasons.”

Would that not just break your heart. Imagine going out to choose a present for Madeleine. I just pray, pray, pray that the family are not left looking at a pile of unopened presents on Christmas day.
I think that it is so easy to forget the grandparents in all of this. K. M. is an only child and these grandparents waited for a long time, and with many disappointments, for their first grandchild. I can just imagine how they must have felt when she was born. It must have seemed like a miracle, after the long wait, and she must be very, very special to them. It’s just hellish.
This is an appeal to the abductor, or anyone who may know who the abductor is, if you read the posts on this site.
I’m BEGGING you, for Gods sake find it in your heart to let this wee girl return home to her parents and brother and sister. You don’t have to give yourself in, just drop Madeleine off in a safe place. She wont remember or understand enough to enable anyone to find you. Please, please just let Madeleine go and put an end to her and her family’s suffering.
If you know where Madeleine is, but are too frightened to contact the McCanns, the Police, the Media or Metado3 then go to a Catholic Church and talk to a priest. There is enough money in the reward fund to relocate you and your family.

Reading the post left by Mike with the new story from Maddie’s Grandfather. Have felt very saddened that we are approaching Christmas and still no news on Madeleine’s whereabouts, or really a definite confirmation that she is still alive. What a miracle it would truly be, if she were returned, by whoever has her, back to her parents.
I cant imagine, how as a family they will cope this Christmas and possibly going into 2008, without Maddie. So very sad.

Kate and Gerry McCann have decided to buy Christmas presents for Madeleine this year in the desperate hope that their missing daughter will be home in time to unwrap them.
Madeleine’s grandfather Brian Healy has revealed how the family are convinced that she is alive.
Speaking from his home in Liverpool, Brian told The People: “We will all buy her a Christmas present and they will be under the tree waiting for her when she comes home.”
Appealing for further help to get Madeleine home for Christmas he added: “Yes this is going to be one of the most difficult times of the year for all of us because Madeline, like all children, especially loved Christmas.
“Last year the whole family had such a wonderful time and we pray that we will be together again.
“That’s why we are determined to buy her presents just like we have always done and we wish more than anything else she will be home in time to open them.
“We are just hoping that people will be thinking of Maddie more than ever because it is Christmas and it might lead to a breakthrough.
“It really would be a miracle and we would appeal to parents to think about Maddie at this time of the year and help us to bring her home in time for Christmas.”

A British mum has told how a woman resembling Roert Murat’s girlfriend tried to enter the apartment where her daughter was , just five weeks before Madeleine was abducted.
Karen Sixsmith says the woman looked like Murat’s lover Michaela Walczuch, who is a Jehovah’s Witness.
She knocked at her door in the same Portuguese holiday complex where Madeleine was taken and claimed to be a Jehovah’s Witness. Accompanied by a man, the mystery woman was anxious to get into the apartment where Karen’s daughter Kate was.She said she wanted to discuss her faith.
Deeply unsettled by the incident, Karen called Leicester police the McCann’s local force after Madeleine disappeared to report her concerns. But she heard nothing back.
Now, after studying pictures of German born Walczuch, 34 who has been linked to two alleged sightings of Madeleine, Karen has come forward again. And she believes it was Walczuch and official suspect , Murat who called at her door ” I just can’t get it out of my head that it may have been Murat and his girlfriend on my doorstep.”
Her testimony given to the Sunday Mirror so we could pass it on to the McCann’s private investigators Metodo 3 in Barcelona comes after Walczuch’s alibi for the night Madeleine vanished from Praia da Luz was contradicted. She had claimed to have been at a Jehovah’s Witness meeting.
For their holiday, Karen and husband Graham had rented an apartment at the Ocean club complex opposite the later occupied by the McCann’s.
Two days after they arrived, they decided to stay in because it was raining. At 12.30pm, they were surprised to hear a knock on the door, especially as the apartment block was virtually deserted.
Karen said: ” It was a blonde woman, 35 to 40 years old, English speaking. She had a pamplet and I knew straight away that she was a Jehovah’s Witness.She asked if she could come into the apartment to talk about her faith. I took the pamplet from her and closed the door. I now think it may have been Murat and his girlfriend.
The couple from Bowden, Cheshire, believe the visit could have been a distraction while a third person checked out the access to the apartment.
Electrician Graham, 50, said: ” It’s a bit scary , looking back. ” Karen added: ” I have thought ever since Madeleine disappeared that Kate could have been a target and that is terrifying. ” She would have stood out a mile with her blonde hair and blue eyes, just like Madeleine. ”
Karen told how, having seen Walczuch’s photo in newspapers she now believes it was her knocking at the door. ” I remember her features very clearly. “

‘The ChildLover logo’. In an exclusive report, Wikinews has obtained an internal FBI document from Wikileaks detailing symbols used by organized pedophiles to identify one another.
Wikileaks obtained the document via Spanish “childhood erotica” networks. According to Wikileaks, the unclassified parts of the document were only briefly published by the Ann Arbor, Michigan police department in a newsletter, which was later removed from the internet.
The document, which is titled Symbols and Logos Used by Pedophiles to Identify Sexual Preferences states that “pedophiles, to include those who sexually abuse children as well as those who produce, distribute, and trade child pornography, are using various types of identification logos or symbols to recognize one another and distinguish their sexual preferences.”
According to the FBI, there are at least three groups that pedophiles can use to identify what age and or gender they prefer such as “boylove, girllove and childlove.” Most of the logos have been found to be printed on coins, necklace charms and rings.
The first logo, ‘The BoyLover logo’ (BLogo) “is a small blue spiral-shaped triangle surrounded by a larger triangle, whereby the small triangle represents a small boy and the larger triangle represents an adult man. A variation of the BLogo is the Little Boy Lover logo (LBLogo), which also embodies a small spiral-shaped triangle within a larger triangle; however, the corners of the LBLogo are rounded to resemble a scribbling by a young child,” said the document.
The second logo, ‘The GirlLover logo’ (GLogo) is “a small heart surrounded by a larger heart, which symbolizes a relationship between an adult male or female and minor girl,” the document stated.
The last logo, ‘The ChildLover logo’ (CLogo), “resembles a butterfly and represents non-preferential gender child abusers,” added the document.
It is not known how the document came to be in the hands of Spanish childhood erotica enthusiasts. The logos were found during raids on computers and other items related to pedophile investigations

The private detectives hunting for Madeleine McCann were once arrested in a phone-tapping scandal linked to leading politicians and businessmen.
Five senior members of the family-run firm Metodo 3 – including director-general Francisco Marco, who is liaising with Kate and Gerry McCann – were held amid claims of industrial and political espionage.
Mr Marco’s mother, Maria Fernandez Lado, 57, who founded the agency 23 years ago, was pictured in handcuffs after being arrested as she handed a client a cassette allegedly containing a phone-tapped conversation.
In a raid on Metodo 3’s Barcelona offices, police seized handguns, ammunition, listening equipment, cassettes and transcripts of taped phone calls. But the 1995 case was dropped by a judge after defence lawyers levelled accusations of police entrapment.
However, The Mail on Sunday’s findings – including transcripts of conversations in which Mr Marco’s mother allegedly offers a tapping service – will bring into question the suitability of the firm in running the McCanns’ investigation.
It is not known if the McCanns are aware of Metodo 3’s past. But a fellow private investigator said last night: ‘They have portrayed themselves as the best investigators in the world. The truth is they are nothing of the sort. Their murky background is riddled with controversy.’
Metodo 3 hit the headlines three weeks ago after lawyer Mr Marco boasted that he would find Madeleine, below, in months.
He said his agency was ‘100 per cent sure’ Madeleine was alive and ‘not maybe…but very close’ to finding the four-year-old’s abductor.
It was reported that the firm has up to 40 detectives on the case. However, company accounts reveal a section of Metodo 3 made a net loss of £61,500 in 2005 and had a full-time staff of just 12. They claim they now have 27.
The McCanns commissioned Metodo 3 on a six-month contract as Portuguese police targeted them over their daughter’s disappearance and appeared to lose interest in finding her alive.
Gerry McCann has privately voiced his trust in Metodo 3, which was hired by the couple’s multi-millionaire-backer, Brian Kennedy, a double glazing tycoon. Yet in a police investigation Mr Marco’s mother, known as Marita, was arrested as she handed over a recording of a tapped phone call.
She was also taped in an undercover sting allegedly claiming: ‘I did tapping… fundamentally for people I had known for a long time.’ Also held were her husband Francisco Marco Poyuelo, 60, Francisco Marco, 35, his brother Francisco Gabriel Fernandez Lado, 36, and employee Oscar Trujillo, 40. The detainees were held in custody for 48 hours but were never charged after an investigating judge threw the case out.
Detectives had persuaded a businessman to meet Marita posing as a client. It was a clear-cut case of police entrapment.
However, a police report and a transcript of a conversation claims Marita allegedly offered to illegally tap phones for £15,000 to £21,000. In the police transcript Marita allegedly told the ‘client’: ‘Phone tapping…It’s very dangerous at the moment. It’s very dangerous, very dangerous. But not dangerous for me!’
Police had launched the operation after Spanish phone giant Telefonica suspected an employee was involved in illegal tapping and industrial espionage.
Officers monitored worker Sergio Sancelestino’s phone calls and discovered he had close links to Metodo 3. A police report stated: ‘It was established that Sergio Sancelestino maintained frequent contact with the management of the Metodo 3 detective agency, and that they could be carrying out illegal phone-tapping, obtaining large financial rewards for those jobs.’
Undercover police claim they watched as Metodo 3 and three Telefonica employees tapped a telephone.
Police swooped as Marita handed over a tape, then raided six other addresses. But four months later the case was ‘archived’ and the judge said there was no evidence Metodo 3 had been involved in phone tapping or profited from it.
Francisco Marco yesterday claimed that the allegations made against his company had been provoked by their own investigation into state corruption. He said: ‘The judge said it was all made up by the police.’ He added his firm was very healthy.
The McCanns’ spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, said the agency retained their confidence and was not acting illegally for them. Meanwhile, it was reported in Portugal that police had looked at whether the McCanns had ’sold’ Madeleine.
The theory was later dismissed.

Professor David Barclay, who has worked on more than 200 murder cases, came away with yet more unanswered questions.
“The police definitely took thumbprints from the window and those marks might end up being someone who is registered somewhere as a paedophile,” he said.
“The thumb marks obviously aren’t from anyone local or who is registered on their database, because they would have got them by now. But it might be someone not on a database who commits a subsequent offence.
I’m afraid this question can be answered by the Portuguese police. Just one of the many cock-ups they have made while investigating this case.
Fingerprints found on shutters of the McCann family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz have finally been identified — and they belong to A COP.
Bungling police wasted weeks checking this clue before British experts asked if they had eliminated all the police.
Officers who attended the scene were eventually rounded up and fingerprinted, revealing the culprit’s name.
Still waiting for news that they have taken in Michaela Walczuch for further questioning.
But having seen the way they investigate this might not happen.
