Madeleine McCann Not In Malta Or Morocco
FROM Paulo Reis in Portugal:
Portuguese CID spokesman, about Madeleine abduction: “The clue to this mistery is in Praia da Luz”
Portuguese authorities have dismissed as groundless all leads on sightings of Madeleine McCann in other countries rather than Portugal, namely in Morroco and Malta, said Polícia Judiciária (PJ), Portuguese CID, spokesman Olegário de Sousa (…) Further investigations are being carried out centered mainly on the area of Praia da Luz itself, said Mr. Olegário de Sousa. «The clue to this mistery is in Praia da Luz», according to other police source quoted by Diário de Notícias. (…)
Note: Kate and Gerry McCann are innocent.

Re 5161. Im not sure that anything on the Brian Ladd website can be counted as hard evidence.

Hi Jean & Anthony:
I was going to say the same thing about MIke, Jeannie, yourself, Kirstie etc..-
Lauren/Annie1:
Hi U2-
For myself, it isn’t the love for the Mc’s.. I don’t even know them !! So how can you love someone if you don’t even know them?? I just have compassion of a family that lost their sweet beautiful daughter and the holidays is coming up. That’s why I double hug our daughter and try to explain to her about good and bad people in this world!- I just wish that other missing children would have big of media coverage as Maddie has had but some saddly don’t even get their picture shown on television!!-
There is no competition here …. but trying to find ways with what the press has put out there and seeing what might be real and what might not be real.

I know that I may now be sticking my head above the parapet, I also know that Anorak is a ’satire’ site, but Isla, Maggie, Anthony, Mike and a few others have been on here for a considerable length of time. We have all suffered name calling from other posters from time to time and we have survived it. For quite a few weeks we have been doing our own thing, posting items of news we think others may have missed, or be interested in, and our main aim is supporting the search for Madeleine. None of us are sartastic or make comments that can be taken the wrong way, and we all have got on, focusing on the heartbreak of the missing little girl.
We have at no time in the last six/seven months said the McCanns were right in leaving their three children, but at the same time, at that particular resort, numerous parents have done the same for as long as the complex has been open. My daughter has a friend who used to work in a Mark Warner resort and she says the act of leaving the children alone, with a member of staff walking round listening at the doors was the norm. Now, because this was the norm in the various resorts, and because other parents accepted that, I would like to ask why should the McCanns be crucified for doing the same thing. Unfortunately, Madeleine was the child that was abducted, but the opportunity was there for every child in the complex to be taken, therefore every parent who left their child unattended was wrong. As the saying goes two wrongs don’t make a right, and I for one would never have left any of my children in that situation, but it has been done. Nothing can change that. Gerry and Kate McCann will have that action on their conscience for the rest of their lives, even if Madeleine is found alive, but us going on about it will not change the fact that they left their children and so did hundreds of others in the same resort, before Madeleine.
Lauren and Annie1 there are plenty of Anorak forums that you could go on to voice your opinions, and get the appropriate replies, by like minded people. I know that every forum is an open debate, and everyone should be able to give their own opinion, but I think that this one really isn’t for either of you because you are too contraversial and you both need banter between posters. Looking through the sites this is the only one that has 259 pages to it, and of course it attracts people who are curious to see why we have been going for so long. I really wish the ‘regulars’ could get together and form our own group somehow so that we could communicate in the way we want to instead of having these occasional hiccup.
Please lets get on with the task in hand, which is trying our damndest to find Madeleine, and get her back home before Christmas.

to isla,yes yes yes yes………
Police know the identity and are pursuing the lead of the British tourist reported by a witness to be ‘hiding’ in a stairwell around the Ocean Club at 6pm on May 3, the day Madeleine McCann went missing, the Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias reports today.
he may be also the lurker in the bushes as well i do not know, but they have his name and he is known to police so it is a big start that i hope leads somewhere.
to annie,
yes isla does mingle her posts with brilliant facts and personal feelings, but remember that you are dealing with women and children and it can be very touchy, we need more islas, its a pity there is only one of her, swiss miss is the same and i have seen both of them banging away at this case for months,i can see from laurens posts that she is angry,i was also angry at the mccanns but as time passes and i could see how much victims they were i changed my tune,i have a lot of empathy for them now and i hope they get her back,i think that none of us would in hindsight have behaved any different than all the doctors who were there on the night,i would like to see lauren posting here but without the anger,i kicked my sofa one day at the stupidy of the police in both britan and portougal and i had to have a strange ciggerate to calm down,i have stated that i will go if they cannot find her as i know that a lot of people on the ground including the mccanns know what happened that night andthey have still to say what they know but cannot because of the pj secrecty laws, maybe i will keep my anger for playa del luz,
the person who took madeline mccann was in playa del luz for a while as he knew the area and some people there know him,its the silence from him and whoever he is with that leads me to belive that she is still alive somewhere and can be retrived, its four weeks to xmas and in the next four weeks i expect even more intel to drop out,it was six months before we found out that there was no pink blanket and a lot of other facts are coming from the minds of media people in playa del luz, bathtubs of lies from them and still no trace of the child because she was taken indoors probably in a house on the way to the beach and remained there for a while either before she was killed or moved alive to another location where i hope she is now,
i no longer hole the mccanns responsible for the taking of madeline there was nothing they could do to stop them and i hope that they are gearing up for a big fight to either get her back or get the people who took her,if they need any help then just say so as i would only be too glad to go and help them.
small prayer to st anthony the patron saint of lost things that her searchers get lucky.

Find Maddie and give us a miracle for Christmas..
EXCLUSIVE FAMILY’S EMOTIONAL PLEA FOR MISSING DAUGHTER’S RETURN
By Paul Lewis
Gazing in wonderment at her Christmas present from Mum and Dad, Madeleine McCann enjoys her favourite time of the year.
Our newly-released photo of last year’s festive fun only brings heartache now to Kate and Gerry McCann as they enter their 206th day without their vanished daughter.
But Kate and Gerry, both 39, have bravely decided to buy Christmas presents this year for Maddie, four, in the desperate hope she will be home in time to unwrap them.
The inspirational vow comes just days after a top Portuguese law chief caused them further suffering by claiming Maddie is dead.
But in an exclusive interview with The People Maddie’s grandfather Brian Healy revealed how the family are convinced that she is alive and how they are now hoping for the ultimate Christmas miracle.
Speaking from his home in Liverpool, Brian, 67, said: “We will all buy her a Christmas present and they will be under the tree waiting for her when she comes home.”
Appealing for further help to get Maddie home for Christmas he added: “Yes this is going to be one of the most difficult times of the year for all of us because Madeline, like all children, especially loved Christmas.
“Last year the whole family had such a wonderful time and we pray that we will be together again.
“That’s why we are determined to buy her presents just like we have always done and we wish more than anything else she will be home in time to open them.
“We are just hoping that people will be thinking of Maddie more than ever because it is Christmas and it might lead to a breakthrough.
“It really would be a miracle and we would appeal to parents to think about Maddie at this time of the year and help us to bring her home in time for Christmas.”
Brian and his wife Susan, 61, who are GP Kate’s parents, have bitter-sweet memories of last Christmas at their daughter’s home in Rothley, Leicestershire.
He told how Maddie was beaming with excitement as the happy toddler, along with her twin brother and sister Sean and Amelie, now two, shared the magic of Christmas.
Brian recalled: “Last year things could not have been more different. It was one of our happiest Christmases ever.
“Maddie loves this time of year and on the big day her face really does light up like a Christmas tree beaming with the most amazing smiles and excitement.
“I will never forget how happy the whole family was last year as we watched the three children play so blissfully together.
“Watching her open her presents was so special. She got a pink Barbie doll because that is her favourite colour.
“She really is a little princess.
Now it just seems so far away and we had no idea how much things would change.
“It is just unbearable to think that it could have been our last Christmas together.”
Maddie vanished from the McCann’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz on the Algarve in Portugal on May 3.
Kate and Gerry, along with seven other friends, had left Maddie and the twins sleeping in their room while the adults ate at a tapas bar from which they could see the apartment.
Gerry, a consultant cardiologist, believes the toddler was snatched by a kidnapper. Despite a barrage of wild theories, Portuguese police are no nearer to solving the case.
Brian says Kate and Gerry will still try to stage a normal Christmas for the sake of the twins and will hide the torture of being without their first-born daughter.
He added: “Christmas is the time for miracles and this would be the ultimate Christmas present we could ever wish for.
“Like every year we will still be buying Madeleine presents and we hope and pray that she will be home in time to open them. I would love nothing more.
“Maddie loves Harry Potter and Dr Who so we will buy her something that we know she will love. The presents will be waiting for her under the Christmas tree.
“Even though Christmas and leading up to it is going to be one of the hardest times our one big hope is that it means parents will be extra vigilant and think about Maddie more.
“That is what we are asking for this Christmas - to think about Maddie and get her home in time to be with her family again.”
Maddie’s grandma Susan added: “We just want to be together again as a family this Christmas.
“This is a caring family who are missing their precious daughter at a time of year when they would normally be sharing the love and magic of Christmas with her.
“Madeleine is the most important person in all of this and she deserves a Christmas with the mummy and daddy and brother and sister she loves so much.”

Sure Maggie, the Police have a duty to bring criminals to justice, but protect? Each and everyone of us has a duty to protect what is dear to us - Would you tie your dog to a lamppost and go into a restaurant - hoping that the police will protect it? I certainly wouldnt - if I intended to take my dog out, I would take a picnic with me so that I could keep a close hold of him. Otherwise - leave him safe at home. The McCanns did not give their children anywhere near the same consideration as I would my dog - not that a dog is worth any less - every living thing deserves a level of protection from its carers - and it is certainly not the duty of the police to trail around holiday flats making sure that nobody steals a child of 3 years through an open door at night - maybe if someone did steal her, their attention was drawn to the flat by her crying, and maybe she was taken by someone who actually cared - I would certainly like to think so rather than think anything else. Maybe they intended to bring her back and repremand the parents, but because of the huge media circus created instantly by the McCanns, they felt that their morals would be overshadowed by these two seemingly faultless couple who very wrongly in my opinion launched a money making appeal to cover their expenses and to draw attention away from their neglect and stupidity. If someone did take her because the felt she was crying through neglect, then the sight of the parents and their reaction would probably make them want to keep her protected.

Hi all
Just read this - once again on Brian Ladd’s site, when it is all put together, the POLICE DO SEEM A ‘LITTLE’ LAPSE!!!!!!
Dear Brian,
I feel the time has come to compile a dossier of facts focusing on
what we know rather than supposition. I believe there is sufficient
incriminating evidence to point the finger at the Portuguese police to
warrant a thorough investigation by our Government. I have outlined
below my own list of suspicious circumstances but would welcome any
additions from your readers.
1) A policeman befriends the McCann’s at dinner. Was this after or
Despite a secrecy law, the POLICE (lets not forget the source)
before Madeleine’s
disappearance?
2) The Police claim to have not received the first phonecall made by
the McCann party
20 minutes after discovering her gone and only respond to the call 30
minutes later,
thereby giving an abductor plenty of time to escape with Madeleine.
3) They IMMEDIATELY suggest she could not have been abducted as there
was no obvious
break-in.
4) They do not seal off the scene of crime but actively encourage the
public, Robert Murat
and the police themselves to repeatedly enter and contaminate
possible evidence - even
allowing the room to be cleaned!
5) They use Robert Murat as an interpreter despite his having no
experience in this field
OTHER than for the police - confirming his close relationship with
the force.
6) They quickly make Robert Murat an Arguido - silencing him and
giving him protection from
outside investigators and the media.
7) They dismiss reliable witnesses in favour of questioning at length
anyone who might be
able to slander the McCanns.
continually leak incriminating
and unsubstantiated information about the Kate and Gerry and the
Tapas 9 to the
Portuguese Media.
9) They go to every possible length to suggest that Madeleine must
have been murdered by
her parents - regardless of the ludicrousy of this suggestion bearing
in mind what we now
know about the circumstances and the people involved. (They clearly
thought that
everyone must have weaknesses in their characters and past which
could be used
against them and did not reckon on such an upright and religious
background as that of
Kate and Gerry).
10) They continually allude to the discrepencies in the testimonies,
accidently forgetting that
the translator was Arguido no 1 Mr Murat who could have easily misled
everyone involved.
11) They offer Kate a plea bargain if she will confess to murdering
her own daughter - similar
to another unsolved missing child case led by the same investigating
team.
12) They APPEAR to want to solve the crime by changing the leadership
team and yet
continue with the same line of enquiry.
13) They dismiss the Private Investigators hired by the McCanns as
small fry instead of
pooling information to SOLVE THE CRIME.
14) They interview witnesses who are closely connected to Robert Murat
and therefore
potentially involved but do not seek corroboration for their alibis.
15) And finally, six months later WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE AND NO BODY
they decide
that Madeleine was indeed abducted but must have been killed.
I know that everything which is here is universally known but it is
only when the facts are compiled together does it become increasingly
obvious where the investigation must start if Madeleine McCann is ever
to be found.
WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF ALL THIS ANNIE1. THIS IS HARD EVIDENCE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AGAINST THE POLICE.
November 27th, 2007 at 10:23 am
re 5146. My point exactly Maggie, there are no proven facts other than the parents left Madeleine and siblings alone and Madeleine has gone missing and has not been seen since. Yet even with you saying that these are the only known facts, you come on here, trying to force your views about the McCanns alleged innocence on anyone whose opinion differs from yours. You name call, put people down, all for what? All this anger, bitterness you project towards others on this forum has nothing to do with Madeleine McCann. Its all about you. As i said to your buddy Isla, this is a forum for Madeleine McCann not a forum dedicated to proving the innocence of her parents.
Im sure if yourself and Isla, wanted to dedicate your time to Kate and Gerry, you could set up a forum of your very own. State that only people with a blind love of Gerry and Kate McCann may post on there. You could state that anyone who just wants to deal with the known facts of this case, may not post. Then you could sing the praises of Mr and Mrs McCann to your little hearts content. Then you wouldnt have to deal with all these nasty people, all these bad people who just want to focus on Madeleine and find out the TRUTH of what happened to her, whatever that may be and whoever that may involve. Shame on us for wanting the truth, whatever were we thinking!!
November 27th, 2007 at 10:07 am
Lauren - at last someone on this site with some sense - Isla has hijacked this particular anorak thread - she interlaces her posts with details of her own sadness in her life - OK everyone has problems, but maybe this is not the place to air them. I am sure that the Police would be much better placed if there had not been such a deluge of supporters hell bent on trying to protect the McCanns from even a suggestion that they were neglectful. I shall watch very carefully in future - anything which puts the McCanns in the public eye promoting child protection, I shall very very strongly voice my concerns about their credibility to speak on the subject. And the sad thing is that they STILL strongly deny through their spokesperson that they did anything wrong - it just beggars belief that they are beyond admitting it
—————————–
Mods and Admin
I am sory to hear there is bullying down here, I thought it was a quiet little oasis, and hadn’t been moderating.
On looking through however I see there are several ‘pro Mcc’ and only one or two ‘anti’s’, so there shall be an in- balance of opinion because of this.
There are however other threads, plenty of them in fact, and some I have to admit are beyond the pale and its not pro and anti , just infighting (which is being discussed by Admin)
But I must point out to all this site is basically satire, the parents will get mocked, the only person who gets respect is Madeleine McCann ,the true innocent in all this.
November 27th, 2007 at 9:04 am
Re 5149. Madeleine is a very young child, who probably by now as forgotten about her parents. Not sitting in a room, defending the fact that they left her alone.
I myself lived with an abusive parent as a child. I loved the person who abused me and would have defended them to the death - does that make my account of what was happening to me when i as a child acceptable? Because i didnt understand what was happening to me as a child and would have lied or done anything to protect that person, does that mean i should have been listened to as a child or just taken the hell out of there? It is the job of adults to care for children, to protect their rights, to make sure they come to no harm. You can view my opinion about the fact i think the McCanns neglected their children by leaving them alone, any way you like. I know it was wrong and more importantly, so do the McCanns. And if Madeleine McCann is out there, alive and maybe doesnt manage to escape from who ever is holding her until she is an adult, do you really think she will be fine with the fact her parents left her and her brother and sister alone, so they could go and eat and get drunk and in doing so allowed for her to be taken and as a result of that has had to live a life of abuse and hurt? I doubt that very much.
This forum is for Madeleine McCann, not her parents. As i have stated before they are adults and perfectly capable of defending themselves. To read your posts Isla and the ones from Maggie, you would think this was a forum dedicated to proving Kate and Gerrys Mcs innocence - it isnt. People are allowed to come on here and express views, that may not concur with your own. Its called freedom of speech, maybe you have heard of it?
I notice that you are now accusing annie1 of being Alice, yet reading back on past posts, did you not get quite upset when people accused you of the same thing, Bethany?? Yourself and Maggie behave disgracefully and why the mods on here have not intervened to stop the pair of you from bullying and name calling is beyond me. And you do all this in Madeleine’s name - shameful!
November 27th, 2007 at 8:46 am
How did your trip to the US go? You were there 6 weeks weren’t you…we didn’t half miss you!!!!!!!
November 27th, 2007 at 7:50 am
Jean-5148
I agree, no one is perfect!
Isla -5149
Me too, all these oh so perfect ppl, yet they can’t find any compassion at all for the McCann’s
Annie5150,
I don’t know why you found the need to point that out to me as its blatantly obvious Madeleine is missing –that’s why we are here, unless you tar everyone with the same brush as yourself! I personally think your some kind of ‘nut’ or you’re a troll who ‘gets off’ by attacking other peoples posts. It’s blatantly obvious that we all care about Madeleine-most ppl have been on here since day one, then now and then we get parasites like you popping up causing trouble. I wish you and all your other trolls would just go away-you’re really pathetic and it’s not about being anti or pro McCann’s it’s the nasty aggressive and rude way you come across.
The police in all countries have a duty to protect the public, that’s their job, that’s what they get paid for!!! The pj have failed miserably!
I won’t just ignore any of your posts I won’t even bother to read them, so reply in your nasty cruel all you want-who cares!
November 27th, 2007 at 2:25 am
Hi Alice err sorry Annie1
‘all of your efforts aint come up with anything, has it? And lets face it nobody has put more effort into the paste and copy info than you over the months, and to what end? NOTHING.”
Maybe all of OUR efforts, meaning ALL of the people on this forum have done more that you’ll ever know. You don’t know WHO we are, what connections WE have or WHAT we are doing. Maybe something we have done, such as paste and copy, will result in Madeleine being found. Maybe we do more than just paste and copy! At the end of the day the point is, we are trying!
One things for sure, all of MY efforts in my REAL life HAVE MOST definitely made a difference for children who are suffering for one reason or another. What do you do? What have you done? Bugger all as far as I can make out. You don’t give one whit about Madeleine or any other child in need. Don’t come on here and pontificate about other individuals’ behaviour or actions. You just want to castigate her parents and imo you need therapy to help sort yourself / thoughts/ beliefs / feelings / motivations / actions out.
As to ‘You are exactly what the McCanns need and exactly what the PJ do not. IF Madeleine was abducted, and the one who did it reads these posts, which is likely, they would be laughing their socks off reading your posts. Slagging off the police, making them think that they are sitting pretty in their situatiion. Has it ever occurred to you that the private investigators, the McCanns, YOU, ME = nobody except the police have the power to arrest,’
Before you make an arrest you have to have some kind of evidence or have found the, in this case, missing person. UNLIKE YOU, WE ARE TRYING TO FIND MADELEINE.
Finally, I will NOT be responding to any more of your posts. You are a complete timewaster. Post something constructive in relation to finding Madeleine and then, yes, I will respond.
Seems like your 6 week holiday in the US (other forums) didn’t agree with you at all.
November 27th, 2007 at 1:01 am
HEY ISLA - that is the job of her parents - not mine. They have all the facilities at their finger tips - turning stones seems to have given way to swanning around Leicestershire, dodging the press - all of your efforts aint come up with anything, has it? And lets face it nobody has put more effort into the paste and copy info than you over the months, and to what end? NOTHING. You are exactly what the McCanns need and exactly what the PJ do not. IF Madeleine was abducted, and the one who did it reads these posts, which is likely, they would be laughing their socks off reading your posts. Slagging off the police, making them think that they are sitting pretty in their situatiion. Has it ever occurred to you that the private investigators, the McCanns, YOU, ME = nobody except the police have the power to arrest
November 27th, 2007 at 12:55 am
Oh I get it now, Isla - you have to have been in a position where you either “thought” even for one brief moment that you had lost your kid, or actually lost your kid to actually generate huge sympathy for the mcs. Parents who spend a lifetime not risking anything as far as their little ones are concerned are slated for being critics of the Mcs. From your post I understand that you consider yourself to have empathy with them - OK you left your little one with a mate and she let him or her slip the net - not exactly the same situation - is it? A similar thing would have been if the Mcs had a babysitter who went to the bathroom and while she was away for a few mins the kid got out of bed and wandered off. Most unlikely anyway because had a sitter been with the children there is a good chance that the door would have been locked anyway.
November 27th, 2007 at 12:50 am
Annie1
I agree with your statement ‘Wake up lady - SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO MADELEINE - SHE IS MISSING!!!!! ‘
What are you going to do about that? That is finding her.
November 27th, 2007 at 12:45 am
Hi Jean
Yes, ‘there but for the Grace of God go I’. I remember taking my daughter to shops in Argyle Street in Glasgow. She was only eighteen months old, but was really tall and sturdy for her age and had been walking since she was 8 months old. I went with a friend who was unmarried and had no children. I asked her to watch my daughter while I looked through a jeans rack. When I went back to her my daughter was gone. She said ‘I thought she was with you’. We frantically searched the shop and the street outside. There was no sign of her. The people in the shop called the Police, as I sat at the window crying my heart out. EVERY possible thought went through my head and I’ve never forgotten it (I can still feel my stomach turning). I couldn’t bear to think that she was being hurt, frightened or even just confused. The Police took a statement and phoned around and said that there had been no sign of her. Half an hour later they told me that she was at a Police Station. She had run out of the shop and onto the street (could have been knocked down) and someone had taken her to the Police. I’ll never know if the delay had something to do with an overlap of communication between the Police or if they were trying to frighten the wits out of me. It was one of the worst days of my life. Or rather 45 minutes. The McCanns have had nearly 8 months of this now. Anyone who doesn’t feel compassion for them must be sadly, sadly lacking in some way, imo. I just can’t understand it.
November 27th, 2007 at 12:44 am
WEll - Strong words Maggie
“The pj are grasping at straws, goodness knows what they will come up with next. We all know they should have been more professional at the very beginning instead of pratting around like they were. If anything has happened to Madeleine then her blood will be on their hands. ‘Amaral’ is also the laughing stock of the whole world and if there is any justice in this world we will have our day in court with him. Oh and I agree he is ‘fat, lazy greedy, boozy, spiteful, revengeful, couldn’t care less, know nothing, but think I’ve got all the answers ‘Amaral’.”
And what a lot of tripe! Defend the McCanns by all means - but BLAME the police “if anything has happened to Madeleine!”
Wake up lady - SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO MADELEINE - SHE IS MISSING!!!!! and the reason she is missing is nothing to do with the police - AND if the parents had been a bit quicker off the mark , called the police IMMEDIATELY and not trailed every Tom Dick and Harry through the apartement before the police arrived, then MAYBE the police would have stood a chance - had a bit more to go on than “we checked the kids whatever time, Tanner saw a bloke with a kid, Gerry “maybe someone was behind the door!” Kate snivelling clutching a piece of vital evidence - the cat. My Kate’s own admission the cat had been moved - wasnt that how she first knew that her daughter had gone - cat on a shelf. So the abductor must have contaminated the cat with his or her dna - the VERY NEXT DAY - obviously before any dna tests could be done “cuddle cat” is being paraded infront of the media. = No Maggie = something has happened to Madeleine, and should it be what we all dread = then the police will not be the ones with blood on their hands - the parents will for letting their little girl be a vulnerable target
November 27th, 2007 at 12:23 am
Hi Maggie
You get fed up with this constant chuntering on about child neglect and having to respond to it. All I can say is that if every child that was ever left on their own, by their parents, was abducted there would be thousands of cases in the UK (every year) and millions and millions of cases around the world. The core aspect of this case isn’t about the parents’ ‘neglect’, it’s about the abductor’s ‘intent’. More than anything it’s about finding Madeleine.
If Madeleine McCann could post on this forum, I’m sure that she would say ‘please people forget about me being left on my own, stop hurting my parents and support them in trying to find me. Please, please, I want someone to come and get me now and take me home to my mummy and daddy.
Well, I may be wrong about this and am being over-emotional. Maybe she is sitting somewhere wreaking revenge on her parents, glad that people are ranting on about them, destroying them and indirectly hurting Shaun and Amelie and she doesn’t actually want to go home to the ‘child neglecters’ at all. She’s much happier with her lot now.
November 27th, 2007 at 12:21 am
I think that everyone who posts on here has a common feeling, no matter whether we want the McCanns punished or not, and that is we all want Madeleine to be found safe and well. I think we all care for this little girl, even though we don’t know her, and we will never know her personally. It is just that the thought of such a small, innocent child, who was enjoying her holiday, being taken in the middle of the night in such circumstances, brings it home that there but for the grace of God go I. Because somewhere along the line, we have all been guilty of doing what the McCanns have done, even though it may not be remembered because the occasion was so slight. Leaving a child in the car, not watching quite so carefully when shopping, letting her/him run along a pavement in front, all of these acts could result in a tragedy, but seem so unimportant at the time. No matter what anyone says there will be at least one occasion during your child’s life when you think back and say to yourself, I shouldn’t have done that. The worst part of this is the not knowing. Where is she, is she being harmed, is she being looked after, has she forgotten her life before, or the worse scenario, is she dead. I hope to God she isn’t, but as time goes on I am beginning to wonder. Someone, somewhere, must be tempted by the reward, anonymity would be be guaranteed. All we need is for some brave person to come forward.
November 26th, 2007 at 11:23 pm
Isla-5145
I also hope this isn’t true.
The pj are grasping at straws, goodness knows what they will come up with next. We all know they should have been more professional at the very beginning instead of pratting around like they were. If anything has happened to Madeleine then her blood will be on their hands. ‘Amaral’ is also the laughing stock of the whole world and if there is any justice in this world we will have our day in court with him. Oh and I agree he is ‘fat, lazy greedy, boozy, spiteful, revengeful, couldn’t care less, know nothing, but think I’ve got all the answers ‘Amaral’.

Lauren 5140-what facts? There aren’t any (your words) apart from the fact that Madeleine is missing and her parents should not have left the children but no one is arguing about that.
Post-5138 I agree and would think most ppl on here agrees with what you posted but no one is arguing about that. No one on here has ever said its okay for the children to be left alone. My reasons for supporting the McCann’s is because if the McCann’s end in prison then who will look for Madeleine? She will be swept under the carpet like ALL the other missing children, the reason she is in the public eye is because of her parents. Those two people made a mistake and along with Madeleine are paying a horrendous price!

Hi all
I hope this psychic is wrong.
Maddie spoke to me: Police psychic
Nov 26 2007
A POLICE psychic claims little Madeleine McCann spoke to her in a vision and pleaded: “Please help me.”
Angela McGhee says she has also seen the man who abducted the Midland girl from Praia Da Luz in Portugal.
The Walsall medium, who has reportedly helped police crack previous murder and child abduction cases, said: “I can help the McCanns if they take me to the scene.
“One vision showed Madeleine in the bedroom.
“Then I saw a man go in and I could see the stripes of the shutters. It was a man with a British link.
“They took her to a place nearby, then she was put into a car.”
A few weeks after the vision, mum-of-four Angela had a second sight of the missing youngster, and says it could point to the spot where Madeleine was taken.
“It was Maddie speaking to me,” she said. “She was saying: ‘Please help me’.
“I was shown a map and I believe she was taken to the mountains, and that she is not alive.
“I could see her in a circle and I saw the same thing on the news the next night. It was the boot of a car.
“Then I could see boulders and mountains. It was Monchique, and I believe she is buried there.”
Monchique is just 45 minutes from Praia Da Luz, where Madeleine was abducted in May.
The mountains surrounding the area are said to be a haunt for German paedophiles and police combed the area just weeks after Madeleine disappeared.
Detectives also quizzed a former Dutch terrorist who ran an animal cremation business close to Monchique.
Eric Hoos, 61, often burned the bodies of animals in furnaces at the firm, which has since been shut down.
He spent seven years in jail in Holland after a series of bomb attacks on police stations in 1988.
Mr Hoos said: “They asked if I had spoken with the parents of Madeleine McCann. They claimed they knew I had spoken to the parents, but it’s not true.
Hi Anthony
Just a small article about ’stairwell man’.
Man hiding in stairwell ‘known’
Algarve police have identified mystery tourist
Police know the identity and are pursuing the lead of the British tourist reported by a witness to be ‘hiding’ in a stairwell around the Ocean Club at 6pm on May 3, the day Madeleine McCann went missing, the Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias reports today.
The man was identified from photographs given by the witness during questioning in Portimao in recent days. Described as having a good physique, with a round face and wearing glasses, the man was seen ‘acting strangely’ in the resort the night of the disappearance.
The Policia Judiciaria have known about him for four months. It is certain that it is not Robert Murat, who remains a formal suspect in the case.

Madeleine ‘killed in moment of thwarted desire’
By Fiona Govan in Praia da Luz
Last Updated: 5:49pm GMT 26/11/2007
Madeleine McCann was killed by a paedophile in a moment of “thwarted desire” before being taken from her Algarve holiday apartment, police investigating her disappearance believe, it has been claimed.
Detectives now believe she was taken by an intruder who panicked and suffocated her to stop her from screaming, it was alleged.
They are close to abandoning the theory that Kate and Gerry McCann were responsible for their daughter’s disappearance and will instead focus on the man seen walking away from the apartment carrying a child in his arms.
The U-turn has been suggested after a review of the case by senior detective Paulo Rebelo, 45, who took over the investigation in October.
Respected Portuguese daily Publico on Monday published a chilling recreation of what it claimed police now believe may have been Madeleine’s final few seconds of life.
“It was a moment. An unexpected event thwarted the prospect of desire. Madeleine cries as she wakes from her sleep. Her fear makes itself heard,” the newspaper said. “She has to be silenced. Violence, suffocation probably. And unexpected death.
“All over in minutes. Now he had to get her out of there. Close the door. Flee as fast as he could.
“The theory this is the explanation behind Madeleine’s McCann’s disappearance, the night of May 3, was practically ruled out previously by police investigators.
“Now though, it’s gaining strength in the centre of the investigation.”
Gerry and Kate McCann, both 39, who were made arguidos - or formal suspects - in their daughter’s disappearance on September 7, have always protested their innocence and claimed an intruder took her. On Monday they reiterated their belief that she was still alive.
“All we will say is Madeleine was abducted and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary her family firmly believe that she is alive and being held against her will somewhere,” said Clarence Mitchell, the official spokesman for the McCanns.
Speaking of the Publico report he said: “An abductor would not have had time to do what is alleged here.
“This sort of unsourced report is potentially extremely distressing for Kate and Gerry,” he said.
“The only point in this report to draw comfort from is the indication that police no longer believe that Kate and Gerry are involved in Madeleine’s disappearance.”
Meanwhile the Spanish detective agency hired by the McCanns to find their daughter are investigating links between Madeleine’s disappearance and that of a local Portuguese girl who went missing 3 years ago.
Joana Cipriano, 8, disappeared from her home in the Algarve village of Figueria, 10 miles from Praia da Luz in September 2004. She has never been found.
Her mother Leonor, 36, and uncle, Joao, 35, were convicted of murder after Ms Cipriano confessed to the crime during police questioning.
She later retracted her confession, claiming it was forced during a beating by detectives, but was found guilty and sentenced to 16 years in jail. Her lawyers claim she is innocent and are appealing.
On Monday it emerged that Metodo 3 are looking into Joana’s case to see if there is anything to link it with Madeleine’s disappearance.
“There may be a connection,” one of the Spanish detectives told Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias.
“We are following all leads,” he said.
Kate and Gerry deny evidence claim
The McCanns have denied that key evidence held in high security storage would undermine the results of tests that they claim clears them of any involvement in their daughter’s disappearance.
The couple’s legal team insist that independent forensic results carried out on the Renault Scenic hire car showed no evidence that Madeleine’s body had been transported in the boot, as alleged by the police.
It emerged on Monday, however, that the McCanns’ scientists did not have access to all the evidence because some of the lining of the boot’s interior had been removed and sent to a laboratory Birmingham, where it is undergoing tests.
Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ official spokesman said: “We do not believe this affects the results of our tests at all.
“They were extremely thorough and covered all aspects of the vehicle.
“The piece retained by the Forensic Science Service is extremely small, if anything has been found on it, there is a wholly innocent explanation for it,” he said.

Madeleine detectives probe links to disappearance of eight-year-old girl

Private detectives searching for Madeleine McCann are probing possible links to the disappearance of an eight-year-old Portuguese girl.
Agents working for Kate and Gerry McCann are checking if their daughter’s disappearance could be linked to the controversial case of Joana Cipriano three years ago.
Joana disappeared from the village of Figueria, less than ten miles from Praia da Luz, in September 2004 and no trace of her has ever been found.
A family photo shows Madeleine McCann with her mother Kate. Joana Cipriano went missing in 2004 nearby to where Madeleine disappeared
Her mother Leonor and her uncle Joao confessed to her murder when they were taken for questioning and were convicted of the killing.
But they later retracted their confessions and claimed they had been forced to make them, and lawyers have asked to take their case to the European Court of Human Rights.
Mrs Cipriano, 36, believes her daughter was abducted and that she was framed for the murder, and has warned the same thing could happen to the McCanns.
Like Mrs McCann, Mrs Cipriano was accused of failing to show any emotion after her daughter disappeared. She was later accused of selling her daughter to a German couple and taken into police custody.
While in custody police photographs of the mother show her face was badly bruised, and she claims her confession was beaten out of her and that she tried to retract it the next day.
A tiny trace of blood was found in the family’s flat but the murder convictions were based on the confessions.
Police claim Mrs Cipriano threw herself down a set of stairs, but five officers have faced accusations that they tried to cover up evidence in the case, including Goncalo Amaral, who helped to lead the Madeleine inquiry for five months.
Now detectives from Metodo 3, hired by the McCanns, have said they believe the two cases could be connected.
A source in the agency told the Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias: ‘There may be a connection.’
She said detectives believed the girls could both have been targeted by a paedophile network, and added that Madeleine would have been ‘a true diamond’ - a lucrative target - for such a gang.
‘A film of a four-year-old girl is worth a lot of money to this type of network,’ she told the newspaper.
The Barcelona-based agency’s director-general Francisco Marco has said he believes Madeleine is still alive, and has vowed not to give up on the case until it is solved.
Mrs Cipriano is serving a 16-year sentence for the murder of her daughter, but is appealing against her conviction.

Hi all
A similar post to the last.
I’m so pleased to see that Rebelo is working his butt off. Too bad he wasn’t on this case from the beginning. Instead we had fat, lazy greedy, boozy, spiteful, revengeful, couldn’t care less, know nothing, but think I’ve got all the answers ‘Amaral’. Grr, I feel like ‘hounding’ him.
If this article is correct, it’s good to see that they are taking Jane Tanner’s sighting seriously.
‘Asphyxia? - what happened to the blood??
AND BEST OF ALL, ‘THEY ALSO DOUBT THAT THE DOGS THAT WERE USED BY THE BRTISH POLICE COULD HAVE DETECTED CADAVER ODOR.’
So why do they think that the abductor k***** Madeleine? However, does one sense that we (the PJ) are moving in the right direction that is that McCanns are innocent, an abductor took Madeleine and she may still be alive.
PJ admits innocence of the McCann couple
Madeleine may have been killed inside the apartment by an intruder who then carried the body away and concealed it. It’s one of the possibilities
It was easy to know the routines of the MacCann couple. They seldom left the resort in Praia da Luz where they were spending their holidays in the Algarve for a week. They walked around and ate at more or less precise times, in the company of their group of friends. The children went to bed early, like they did in England. The night was for the adults. It was easy for anyone who was watching, to know the exact best time to enter the apartment - at twilight, when Kate and Gerry walked away for dinner and the movement on the street died down. The opportunity would appear, it would be easy to get closer, to touch, to smell the fragile blond child with big eyes.
It happened in an instant. But an unforeseen event betrayed the expectations of desire. A scream from the British child, awakened from her sleep. The fear she might be heard. The urgency to silence her. The violence. Probably the asphyxia. And the unexpected death. All in minutes. Now, it was necessary to get her out of there. To close the door. To get away quickly.
The possibility that this is the explanation for the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, on the night of May 3, had practically been set aside by the PJ’s investigators. But now it is gaining increasing strength within the core of the investigation.
The testimony of one of the couple’s friends who was also spending her holidays in Praia da Luz, has contributed to reinforce this theory. Jane Tanner said she saw, on that night, a man carrying a child, on the road close to the resort.
This is one of the other possibilities that are now being evaluated by the PJ in Portimao, beside that which points to the possible involvement of the McCann couple in the disappearance of their daughter Madeleine. The convictions that supported the policemen until a short time ago have become more fragile, especially after the head of the Portimao directory, Paulo Rebelo, started to lead the investigation. He was joined by a group of experienced policemen from several criminal investigation areas who now analyse a “tree of possibilities” on what may have happened on the night that Maddie disappeared from the room where she was sleeping with her twin siblings, at the Ocean Club. The probability that her disappearance was the work of an intruder is being seriously considered again, although none of the other hypotheses have been excluded. Discreetly, the investigators keep working on the case until late, both on location, and on the ellaboration of reports and the discussion of the collected data, considering new possibilities and setting others aside. In the PJ’s building, the lights go off very late.
The investigation extends into England. Preparations are being made on the trip that is soon to be made by the PJ’s inspectors, who will travel with a DNA expert and the magistrate from the Public Ministery. They will take the rogatory letters that contain questions that the English police will ask from Kate and Gerry McCann.
An end to the judicial secrecy?
Contradicting the expectation about the usefulness of the results from analyses that were performed by the Birmingham lab on residues that were collected from apartments in Praia da Luz and in the vehicles of the McCann couple and of their friends for the clarification of the case, some senior officers at the PJ consider that that type of analyses will not contribute to give the police new clues. They also doubt that the dogs that were used by the British police could have detected cadaver odour. If the child did, in fact, die in the bedroom, was the short period that she stayed there, enough for odours to be released? What biological transformations occur during the first hour after death? These are the questions that they are looking for answers to.
If the judge issues the end of judicial secret and authorises the process to become public early next year, according to new rules from the Penal Process Code, a big turnaround could happen in the investigation.
The new law, which privileges publicity over secrecy, establishes that all processes are public or annulled, and the Public Ministery is forced to request judicial secrecy for the cases in which in understands it should be kept. The arguidos, in this case the McCann couple and Robert Murat, may consult the process and require new diligences.
For some PJ inspectors, that may represent the beginning of a new investigation.
In Praia da Luz, the shutters are down and the door to the apartment where Maddie disappeared from is closed. The tourists have left, the streets are half deserted and the Ocean Club is closed until the next holiday season. But journalists stop by, every once in a while, trying to find some piece of news, and the locals still look around, searching for Maddie.

Hi all
Now we’ve got the PJ U-TURN!
What happened to the smell of a cadaver from K. M’s clothes and the hired car? Or will the next theory be that the abductor ‘borrowed’ the car from Kate and Gerry? I’m running out of words to describe my b***** anger and disgust with what is going on with this case. What the hell are the PJ playing at?

I disagree with your post, but it’s not that important anyway so I won’t be saying anything else on this matter.
