Madeleine McCann Not In Malta Or Morocco
FROM Paulo Reis in Portugal:
Portuguese CID spokesman, about Madeleine abduction: “The clue to this mistery is in Praia da Luz”
Portuguese authorities have dismissed as groundless all leads on sightings of Madeleine McCann in other countries rather than Portugal, namely in Morroco and Malta, said Polícia Judiciária (PJ), Portuguese CID, spokesman Olegário de Sousa (…) Further investigations are being carried out centered mainly on the area of Praia da Luz itself, said Mr. Olegário de Sousa. «The clue to this mistery is in Praia da Luz», according to other police source quoted by Diário de Notícias. Note: Kate and Gerry McCann are innocent.

Just watched the video appeal from Kate and Gerry. It makes you realise no matter how foolish they were in the first place to have left the children. There is no doubt of the obvious pain they are both feeling being without Madeleine. I just wish there was something i could do to help to reunite them all for Christmas. Its heartbreaking, it really is.

Hi Everyone
A British paedophile with links to Portugal has been revealed as a potential suspect in the Madeleine McCann investigation.
Detectives want to question the man in connection with the girl’s disappearance almost eight months ago, when he is believed to have been in the Algarve.
His identity has been known to police since May, when his name was on a list given to Portuguese police by their British counterparts, but officers are understood to have failed to trace him.
Police have investigated 52 British sex offenders with known links to the Algarve, but this man is the only one who remains a potential suspect, according to a Sky News documentary to be broadcast on Monday.
A source told Sky: “They (Portuguese police) were given the names of 52 sex offenders and they’ve worked very hard to find them and rule them out as suspects. There is still one man they are concerned about.”
It is not known if the man - whose name has not been revealed - is the same individual alleged to have ‘groomed’ and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old British girl in Praia da Luz two years ago.
The British expat, 32, vanished after being interviewed by police over the claim and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was rumoured to have fled to Britain to escape a lengthy jail sentence in Portugal, but could have returned without detection to Praia da Luz, where his parents own a business.
Dozens of paedophiles on the British sex offenders’ register travelled to Portugal in the month before Madeleine’s disappearance from Praia da Luz on May 3.
The list given to Portuguese police was compiled by officers from the London-based Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre, who travelled to the resort.
It included convicted paedophiles from the sex offenders’ register, but also others who appear on an intelligence database of suspects but who have never been charged with any offence.
The private detective agency hired by the McCanns, Metodo 3, believe Madeleine was stolen to order by a paedophile network after she was ’spotted’ as a target during her family holiday.
They have also been trying to trace Portuguese sex offenders believed to have been in the Algarve at the time but their task has been made more difficult because Portugal has no central register of convicted offenders.
Former detective Mike Hames, who helped to set up Scotland Yard’s paedophilia unit, said: “It’s always been my view that Madeleine was the victim of a paedophile who took her and probably killed her soon afterwards.
“And it would be someone who has offended before, someone who is somewhere in the police system for previous sex crimes.”
Madeleine was only three at the time of her disappearance and Professor David Barclay, one of Britain’s leading forensics experts, told the documentary it would be ‘really, really unusual’ for a child of that age to be targeted by paedophiles.
He said: “Abduction for sexual purposes is eight, nine, ten-year-olds. There are no people in Praia da Luz who have that sort of history.
“I know people who have got that, they have been looked at, but the Portuguese police didn’t check up on the other people staying in the apartments.
“I can imagine that if you were a paedophile, one of the things you might do is actually go on holidays at that time of the year where you have got small kids playing in a swimming pool and stuff like that.”
Mr and Mrs McCann, both 39, and British expat Robert Murat, 34, remain the only named suspects, or arguidos, in the case. All three have denied any involvement.
The McCanns have been offered help by lawyers for Sean Hoey, who was cleared last week of charges of murdering the 29 people killed in the 1998 Omagh bombing.
He was cleared by a judge who criticised the forensics technique which provided evidence against him, Low Copy Number DNA, which has also been used by scientists examining the McCann case.
His lawyers challenged the technique, which magnifies minute traces of body matter, and offered their expertise to the McCanns’ legal team.
A friend of the couple said: “The offer came many months ago, and we listened politely, but it was never followed up.”
He added: “It is absolutely ridiculous to form a case against someone using evidence that is fundamentally flawed.”
The Crown Prosecution Service has ordered a re-examination of cases currently going through the courts which rely on the technique and the Association of Chief Police Officers also temporarily suspended its use of the method, which has been used 21,000 times since its launch in 1999.

MCCANNS TO SPEND LAST £1M
Sunday December 23,2007
Matt Drake
——————————————————————————–
The £1million raised to trace Madeleine McCann will run out early next year as her parents launch a last-ditched attempt to find the missing four-year-old.
In a startling move, Kate and Gerry McCann will throw all the remaining cash in the Find Madeleine fund at a new team of private investigators to mount a covert operation in Portugal.
Spanish detective agency Metodo 3, which has already been paid £300,000 from the fund could be axed after crisis talks on January 9.
With less than £650,000 remaining in the coffers, Kate and Gerry are now under pressure to accept a number of lucrative book deals.
Over the holiday the couple, who have decided not to give each other Christmas presents this year, will also consider offers from film makers and chat shows prepared to pay for interviews or access to their home in Rothley, Leics.
Last night John McCann, Gerry’s brother and fund trustee, said: “We are aware the money has been running out for some time and know we have to do everything we can before it is gone.
“We will now look at other options while there is still a chance we can find Madeleine alive. We will consider British private detectives and we have close contacts in America who may be able to help.
“The one thing we must look at is informal forms of investigation and that could mean operating inside Portugal even though it is something we have not been allowed to do yet.”
Any private investigation within Portugal would break that country’s law.
Their wealthy benefactors, including Sir Richard Branson, have promised to continue funding their legal defence if they face charges over Madeleine’s disappearance.

Hi everyone:
OMG Kirstie!
That’s terrible…….. how did they know about the bag in the first place???????? who told them about it? Someone surely had to leak that info to them? But who? If not how could they have known about it?

Morning All,
I have just read a report on sky news website that there are new twists in the enquiry into Madeleines disappearance. Although we have heard already that a Ruth (??) McCann owns the apartment they were staying in, purely coincedence and not related to the family, also British Police handed PP names of 52 paedophiles with connections to the Algarve,1 has yet to be eliminated, and also PP have been looking for a blue tennis back that went missing when Madeleine did. It was big enough to carry a small child. It belonged to Gerry.
I don’t know what that implies, or if Gerry noticed the bag missing before Madeleine was? What do you guys make of it?
Wonder why 1 paedophile has not been eliminated also.52 though?? how shocking is that, and that’s the ones they know about!

KATE and Gerry McCann may have to apply to the European Court of Human Rights to clear their names, legal sources said last night.
The couple believe they are likely to remain official suspects for many years, making it difficult for them to begin rebuilding their lives.
Despite a lack of progress in the police investigation and little solid evidence, it is believed that the Portuguese authorities will not lift the McCanns’ “arguido” status in the coming months.
It raises the prospect of a protracted legal battle through the Portuguese courts, which could eventually end in the human rights court.
Lawyers representing Kate and Gerry, who were declared suspects in September – four months after Madeleine disappeared – will attempt to clear their names officially in the New Year.
But should that fail, they are prepared for a lengthy and bitter legal battle.
The couple had hoped they would be officially cleared next month – eight months after Madeleine vanished and the normal legal limit for a police investigation in Portugal.
But because of the high profile of the case the authorities have granted it exceptional status, meaning the deadline will not apply.
“They could be arguidos for ever,” a source close to the McCanns said yesterday. “It could take years to have the status lifted.”
The only other official suspect, British expat Robert Murat, also remains an arguido in the case.

DETECTIVE FIRM FACES AXE OVER HUNT
Gerry and Kate McCann may sack the private detective
Saturday December 22,2007
By Martin Evans in Praia da Luz Have your say(3)
GERRY and Kate McCann may sack the private detective agency hunting for Madeleine, it was revealed last night.
The couple are said to be “hurt and upset” after the agency’s boss raised expectations that she would be home for Christmas.
Francisco Marco, director general of Barcelona-based Metodo 3, which is paid £50,000 a month to find her, claimed last week he knew where she was.
But despite boasting a 100 per cent success rate in finding missing people, it has so far failed to produce any concrete leads. Now the McCanns and directors of the Find Madeleine Fund have indicated that the contract will not be renewed.
Metodo 3, which has 35 agents working on the case, was hired by the McCanns in October, initially for six months.
More than £1million was donated by members of the public to find Madeleine since she disappeared from the Ocean Club resort in Praia da Luz on May 3.
But almost a third of that is being swallowed up in fees to Metodo 3, which this week moved into plush new offices in Barcelona.
And while its investigators are searching in Portugal and Morocco, Mr Marco is believed to be abroad working on another case.
A close friend of the family said: “They were upset by some of Mr Marco’s unauthorised comments. They want their private detectives to be exactly that, private.
There was a degree of anger about the effect his comments might have had, that he was raising false expectations. They will want to see results before they are going to renew the contract.”

Morning Everyone,
I have just watched their latest appeal. It is heartbreaking to watch the video clips of her last year opening her presents. I hope this message gets through to someone and they do give the information that is vital to ending Madeleines ordeal.
Melanie, I think Anthony is just thinking of any possible scenarios about what happened to her and who might have her in any way he can, in the way he knows how. His style of writing is as he is thinking it so i do not think there is anything more sinister than that because trust me if i thought so i would have done something about it months ago. Anthony is like the rest of us trying to make sense of things in his own individual way. I enjoy his posts a lot, they make for interesting reading. Of coarse i understand that we don’t ‘know’ anyone online but i have no concerns with him or anyone else here.
Praying for a breakthrough, and for Madeleine.

McCanns’ Christmas message to Madeleine
By Nick Britten
Last Updated: 3:12am GMT 22/12/2007
Madeleine McCann’s parents today make a heartfelt Christmas appeal to their missing daughter, urging her to “be brave”.
Standing in front of a Christmas tree at their Leicestershire home, Gerry and Kate McCann tell the four-year-old: “Our only Christmas wish is for you to be back with us again.”
McCanns: “Our only Christmas wish is for you to be back with us”
Their three-minute video appeal for Madeleine’s safe return is being released worldwide today, seven months after she went missing from their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal.
It includes three clips of Madeleine filmed last Christmas which have not been seen publicly before.
In one she is shown excitedly opening a parcel containing the same pink bag she took on the fateful holiday. In another she is carrying a gift from her to her brother Sean while in a third she is standing on the kitchen table.
Sitting in front of the family Christmas tree with his wife by his side, Mr McCann said next week will be the “hardest Christmas imaginable”.
And they make a direct appeal to her kidnapper to end their “despair and anguish”.
Speaking directly to the camera, addressing her daughter, Mrs McCann says: “Madeleine, it’s mummy and daddy here. Just know how much we love you, Madeleine. “We all miss you so much.
“Sean and Amelie talk about you all the time every day.
“We’re doing everything we can, Madeleine, to find you and there are so many good and very kind people helping us.
“Be brave sweetheart.
“Our only Christmas wish is for you to be back with us again and we’re hoping and praying that that will happen.
“Love you Madeleine.”
Turning her attention to her kidnapper, she says: “If that person is you, we understand that you may be staying silent because of fear for yourself or through misguided loyalty to other people.
“But you must understand that you hold the key to ending all this despair and anguish, for both us and Madeleine.
“At this time of year, when so many families are coming together we beg you to help us be reunited with Madeleine. Please do the right thing and come forward.”
Making a direct appeal for information, Mr McCann says: “This special time of year is all about families coming together with love and peace.
“Clearly for us and the rest of our family it’s going to be the hardest Christmas imaginable without Madeleine here.”
He adds: “Since Madeleine was taken from us on May 3, someone knows what happened to her and may well know where she is now. That person has it within their power to show us the compassion to end this terrible ordeal for us.”
The McCanns, who remain official suspects in Madeleine’s disappearance, have not spoken publicly about what they have bought for Madeleine for Christmas this year.
Writing in his internet blog earlier this month, Gerry McCann said the family would be having a very quiet Christmas, attempting to preserve as much normality for Sean and Amelie.
“Despite not yet being three, they both seem to understand they will be getting presents from Santa,” he said.
“They have also asked if Santa will be bringing Madeleine home, which just about broke our hearts.”
The couple have been inundated with gifts from around the world for Madeleine, which they said would remain unopened until she returned home.

Hi Jean
Whist catching up I have just read your post
One or two of the main posters have now disappeared from here it is such a relief to talk to like minded people. I find now that joe-public are getting on with their own lives and seem to have forgotten that Madeleine is still missing.
I just wanted to let you know that whilst I am not posting on here very often (I have had a lot on lately) I have not given up on Madeleine, and will not. Madeleine is still in my every thought and I still pray for her every day. I check the news daily in the hope there will be some good news. It saddens me to think that Christmas is fast approaching and looks as though Madeleine will not be home with her family. I went to watch my daughter in her first nativity play last week, and whilst I was so proud of her it was awful to think that Madeleine’s parents would not be watching her in her first school production.
The amount of presents which her parents have received for her proves that a lot of people are still thinking of Madeleine, but also that they have hope she is still alive. I still have that hope.
Wherever Madeleine is. My thoughts at Christmas as always will be with her, praying she is not suffering and that she will be home soon.

Hi everyone:
#5665- Anthony:
Your post did kind have me make a cold chill go down my spine….. Like Melanie said.. do you really know more then you are letting on at times your posts :i said you will not see her this side of xmas and we are now three days away, mondonto 3 wont find her, there has been silence from her kidnappers maybe they have been talking to us all along just not admitting who they are and gathering info
**
Are you trying to tell us in some crypted code something Anthony? I do like your posts Anthony but sometimes they do tend to be a little more towards the possible “truth” versus speculation……. unless you have a very over imaginative imagination……. :)-
December 21st, 2007 at 11:47 pm
Dear Anthony - not wanting to assume anything - but from your post and your boast - anyone reading it could well assume that your accurate predictions, and in depth knowledge of this case would lead the reader to assume that you know perhaps too much to by a lay person. This is, of course, just my opinion after reading your post We can all speculate, but you seem to be a step nearer than speculation which is a dangerous place to be if you are not closer to the case than you are letting us assume you to be. If you know anything about where she is - then now is the time to say - and if you do not then it might be a good idea to post in a speculative way - and not use the Metodo 3 method of spouting out unfounded revelations
December 21st, 2007 at 10:41 pm
to swiss miss,,jon bennet was attacked by an intruder, her parents are not to blame, gus smith investageted the case and cleared them with evidence,
ben needelham is probably in jail as a teenage deliquent or known to police in albania or bulgaria, thats where his parents should look,
madeline mccann if not dead is being held by people who know what they are doing and are waiting for a chance to move, what they are doing with her i do not know,as murat is the main suspect then the chances are that she was taken for adoption and they know where she is now,if not them then people in playa del luz know where she is now,the probabilty of getting her back in one piece is high but the problem is the people who are in charge of looking for her, they are incompetent and are blocking others from looking for her,her kidnappers have had nearly 8 months to move her where they want and are well dug in,they are checking phone records now,i said months ago that they should spider web the phone records for the area, the police went to lunch and nothing got done, its too late now,i said you will not see her this side of xmas and we are now three days away, mondonto 3 wont find her, there has been silence from her kidnappers maybe they have been talking to us all along just not admitting who they are and gathering info, they will make a move eventualy and they have the power to keep their victim madeline for a long time,we are in this for the long haul now,
the people who took madeline are still in playa del luz probably in contact with the person who is minding her, when i first started posting here i had already made up my mind that they had her for a month by then and the police had not found her although i did not realise how bad they were at the time, that you will only get her back if you knock 7 bells out of someone who you know to be a definite suspect and keep hitting them until they tell you what they did with her, nothing has changed on this front i am afraid to say,the next two weeks there will be a lot more intel dropped into the public domain this will be interesting reading for me,we can all only guess and wait until then as to what happened to her but by all means she must be found or other kids will suffer because of police stupidity and media,
i can only offer to go look for her when they have given up on finding her, they do that on jan 3,i do not belive that the mccanns killed her, there is too much evidence in their favour,so i will not start there,i will know where to start when i go there, madeline mccann must not go into the dark night without a fight,i belive that the key to finding her kidnappers lies in the police files, they just are not looking at it right.
merry xmas madeline mccann where ever you are,a small prayer that we all see you again,
December 21st, 2007 at 9:53 pm
Mr Marco’s astonishing claims just a few days ago that he knew who had kidnapped the little girl came back to haunt him.
His comments sparked reports of a stand-up row with the McCanns, who accused him of harming the chances of finding their daughter alive.
On calling the spokesman the day after Mr Marco made his claims, Mr Mitchell said he knew nothing about them.
He questioned why, if Metodo 3 knew where the vanished girl was, they did not go and get her.
It also seemed strange that if Mr Marco had a major breakthrough to report, then he should tell a newspaper before his clients.
Although Mr Mitchell says he is pleased with Metodo 3’s “operational work”, sources close to the family have reportedly warned that the chances of its contract being renewed when it runs out in March are “virtually nil”.

Hey Lauren:
and please remember.. that you are part of our “core user” now.. ok Lauren?? Don’t forget that !! :)-
I think Mike was posting from an article..
December 21st, 2007 at 5:10 pm
Re post 5653 How come when i made comments such as the ones in this post, i was jumped on from a great height. I thought we had been there and done that as regards the Mcs leaving the children? Not my words or sentiments, just those of the regulars on here
Its not clear to me if this post is actually written by Mike, or is an article from somewhere?
December 21st, 2007 at 4:24 pm
Hi Swissmiss
I think the last thing that the Portuguese police or indeed the Portuguese people want is to find out that the abduction was carried out by a Paedophile gang from their own country. This would cause a drop in holiday bookings to their resorts. I am sure this is the main reason in making either the McCann’s, Murat, or the rest of the tapas 7 suspects in Madeleine’s abduction or killing.
December 21st, 2007 at 3:22 pm
Hi Mike:
I was just wondering about something else.. do you think the reason that the Mcs are in the situation they are in is because they are Dr’s and from Britain?? (other then of course leaving the kids alone.. but we already know that!) The reason why I”m wondering is I just heard a very disturbing news today about this American guy who was jailed in Nicaragua for a murder of his girlfriend that he did not commit. I think they call the guy in charge the Magistrate had cleared him of not guilty on Monday of this week and as of today he is still in jail. His mother was on Today show and she said that they have to release him today because if not all of the courts etc.. will be closed until mid-January! Apparently they hid his file on purpose because of his nationality. It was her words on national tv……. -
December 21st, 2007 at 3:08 pm
Lauren:
Sorry for another mis -interpration!! :)- - What I was trying to say about Anthony…. was that I wanted that Maddie is found before focusing on something else… :)- but I guess it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to get the search going for other missing kids who haven’t been in such a media surrounding like Maddie has been.. like you said.. who knows where that could lead things to … even possibly be leading to Maddie. I’m also hoping that when Maddie is found that there might be the other missing kids there as well!!! For example, the other Portuguese girl whose mother was jailed …
December 21st, 2007 at 3:01 pm
Hi everyone and Happy Holidays to each and everyone !!
Hey Lauren:
Yes, it might be the way he has phrased it, that I wasn’t used to.. :)- I’ve noticed that there is a lot of different words that you all use then we use just from talking with you .. :)- it’s almost like a totally different language!!!! - but when Idid first see that phrase… I was a little surprised…- I don’t know if this case is just like another one or if it has anything to do with Gerry’s position on the board of that company …. - And I really wonder why? Since he is a cardiologist what made him be their advisor?? I was just wondering about that…..
December 21st, 2007 at 12:01 pm
Hi All
Innocent or guilty, and I believe them innocent, Kate and Gerry McCann are living an almost unimaginable nightmare.
If little Madeleine was indeed abducted or killed by person or persons unknown, her parents must live forever with a double torment.
Her loss itself is a horror with which every parent must feel sympathy. But it must be compounded by asking themselves over and over, without any good answer: “How could we have left her while we went out for a meal?”
By their own admission, they did this not just once, but “every night” of their holiday. It is hardly the behaviour of responsible, caring parents in my opinion.
The McCanns have no way out of their nightmare, and it seems it can never end.
Unless one day Maddy should turn up alive and well - which is a conclusion which is easier to hope for than believe in, but believe we must.
At times when there’s been no new news to report, a number of newspaper and TV organisations have filled that space with speculation of an evidential or a psychological nature which isn’t very well founded.
It’s been right that all of us have given a lot of space to this story, not just due to the level of public interest but also a number of things that it’s thrown up around care of children, around the potential for children to be snatched, policing, and about different judicial systems. All those things have been genuinely interesting issues that deserve space, but probably not as much space as was filled by some of the speculation.
The difficult period was a few weeks ago. Some of the things which were being reported in the Portuguese press became part of the case that appeared to be put to the McCann’s, and so some unsubstantiated or uncorroborated information sometimes does turn out to have a grain of truth in it. That’s a genuine journalistic dilemma because of a lack of clear sourcing with this story.
Lauren, in life you will rarely find everyone agreeing, that is what makes life so interesting. I, and I hope others, appreciate all the rational arguments on here be they from any opposing view. It is only those who bully or backbite or are spiteful who are unappreciated and what is a shame for them is that their arguments are then null and void as it is a fact that those type of people are not listened too as much as rational people.
I welcome all rational arguments from whatever side of the fence you’re on (or indeed if you’re sitting on it!!) That, for me, is denoting and long may it continue.!!
Hoping and praying Madeleine is alive and well, and comes home for Christmas.
December 21st, 2007 at 10:52 am
SwissMiss, i have read Gerry’s blog on Friends reunited. I cannot see anything sarcastic in what he has said, or why that would make anyone want to take one of his children. I know from your past posts that you are from across the pond. so maybe you have misinterpreted the British way of phrasing things.
I dont think there necessarily has to be a big conspiracy theory behind Madeleine’s disappearance. Lone paedophiles have abducted children and have managed to keep them, without anyone being suspicious of what they are doing. Such as that boy in the US who was recently found. The neighbours of the man who had abducted him, just assumed he was his son or relative. Let just hope where ever Maddie is, she if found soon.

“McCanns inundated with Christmas presents for missing Madeleine”
Spokesman Clarence Mitchell says: “Kate and Gerry are immensely touched by the continued support and sympathy they have been shown by people all over the world.
“Particularly at this time of year as they face their hardest Christmas imaginable, the messages of support have been of immense comfort to them”
Nothing like a house full of gifts for your missing child to cheer you up…
Says the Mail: “More than 2,000 toys were left at the war memorial in the McCanns’ home village of Rothley, Leicestershire…They were washed, wrapped and shipped to orphanages in the former Soviet Bloc country of Belarus by the charity to be given to children who had no toys of their own. Each toy was individually tied with green and yellow ribbons - a symbol of hope - and carried a tag with a small picture of Madeleine as a reminder of her plight”
SKY NEWS: “Plush New HQ For McCann Private Eyes”
To the Barcelona offices of Metodo 3. And Francisco Marco is getting similar treatment to that served upon the Portuguese police: “At a supposedly crucial stage in the inquiry, his luxurious new office - perched above a gay sauna in a grand, pillar-filled building - was in a make-shift state”
What happened to those “plush new” offices?
“There was just one staff member in sight, and when asked if Sky News Online could see Mr Marco, she replied: ‘He’s not here, he’s out of the country on business. Not with the Madeleine case, on another case’”
Sky is invited to return in two hours “when the office would reopen”. D’oh! Sky has turned up a lunchtime. The broadcaster’s hack with a watch returns at 4pm. It finds three people and a “small” dog” in reception, more people unpacking boxes and a smartly dressed detective
Says the PI: “I can’t say anything. Only Clarence Mitchell can talk about the case. I’m sorry”

Hi Everyone
Well-wishers have sent hundreds of Christmas cards and presents for missing Madeleine McCann to her parents.
Kate and Gerry McCann have received “a post bag full of cards and presents for the children, including Madeleine”, according to the family’s spokesman Clarence Mitchell.
The couple, from Rothley, Leicestershire, have two-year-old twins, Sean and Amelie, who are expected to be given the gifts sent directly to them.
Mr Mitchell said: “Kate and Gerry are strengthened by the sympathy and support that has been shown for them at this time of year.
“They are extremely grateful to everyone who is supporting them and remembering Madeleine at Christmas time.”
Earlier this week, the couple said Christmas would be an incredibly difficult time if Madeleine was not found before then.
They said they planned to have a very quiet, private Christmas with family in the UK.
The couple, both Catholics, are thought to be staying in Rothley for Christmas and are expected to attend midnight mass on Christmas Eve, where prayers will be said for their missing daughter.
Mrs McCann’s mother, Susan Healy, 61, said they are trying to make Christmas as normal as possible for the twins.

Re 5646 SwissMiss, why can Anthony only help with other missing people cases after Maddie has been found? What if Maddie is never found? It is tragic that Madeleine is still missing. But she is not the only missing child that needs help, now. So it would be wrong to get stuck in this mindset, that everything must go on hold until Madeleine is found. Who knows, by searching for other missing children, this may provide another lead as to who may have taken Madeleine.
I may be wrong but I see Anthony as a lone worker myself. Just pooling resources if and when he needs to. I do think Anthony has a real talent for lateral thinking, so i do hope he puts this to good use, in whatever way he sees fit to do so.

Hi Jean:
I feel the same way you do. About the ways in how Maddie might have been abducted and why? - But I truly still think that there is a connection with Exeter. Remember, that O’brien and I think Matthew (Is the last name Oldfield?) both had malpractice suits if I’m correct, right? Also, O’brien is a GP like Kate is and they used to work together in the same dept in Leicester before O’brien got transferred (should I say kicked out?) to Exeter. They moved to Exeter just a few weeks before they went to PDL. They live in Devon Exeter the same town as Murat’s sister just a few doors the down the street. Is that a coincidence or what? Have you seen Gerry’s blog on friendsreunited.uk (I think I wrote that correctly..) ? It sure sounded a bit sarcastic to me… “Has anyone not done well for themselves?” .. he wrote down. SOmeone perhaps could have take that down the wrong way…… I too, think that I might be thinking too much movies !!! but anything is possible, Jean… -

This beautiful poem was on a website called Pamalam ……
Justice for Madeleine.
With love
God Bless You Madeleine
where-ever you may be
We Pray for your safety
We Pray you are free
Free from all harm
free from all pain
We Pray that no-one
can ever harm you again
We will never forget You
although we never met,
You have melted Our hearts
and We will never forget
Your innocent smile
and Your beautiful face
We will never forget
this sad tragic case
The world will still search
and do all that we can,
All we want is Justice
For You,
Madeleine McCann
