The thing I don’t understand is how the Government can waste so much money doing things like Iraq and Afghanistan (imagine how much those two cost the tax payer) while we need to rely on charity to keep children’s hospitals etc afloat.

Imagine if your wife had wasted all your hard earned money on shite you didn’t need and you had to go out onto the streets begging to get enough money to eat.

You wouldn’t stand for that but it seems to be perfectly acceptable for the Government to do it. What would happen if absolutely nobody gave to charity for a year?
