Tina, you had better fork out thousands of pounds in text money, and gather your friends to vote en masse for Jonty.
Why?
Because you can bet any money you like that immature, screeching girls will be hopping up and down voting for the twins and/or Liam tonight, and they will be doing it in large numbers. So will the lazy, sloth like housewives and metrosexuals who are obsessed with Big Brother.
So, in order for Jonty to win, you will have to put in an incredible amount of energy just to counter-act the damage the general voting public do when they vote. And when they vote, Tina, they do so like sheep and buffoons.
Next year, the public will make the same mistakes.
I wonder how many other twins, Stuarts and Shells will stay to the end, as opposed to Charley’s, Victor’s and Science’s.

To briefly interrupt Ian and Bob, I should note that whilst the public will never vote Jonty to win, he should, in fact, emerge victorious.
It would be amusing, and, indeed, hilarious, should a latecomer win and, further, will piss everyone off.
Plus, credit due, he isn’t a cocky big head like Liam or a complete and utter dullard like Samanda (they don’t deserve individual mention because they are basically one and the same, Lol).

I know quite a lot about Lampeter as my wife is from there, a real mix of Town and Gown, and we do return time and tide allowing. She is also friends with the Bursars lot, and we do recall eccentric characters with some enthusiasm, and
I am in touch with people from my years there. The year I graduated was the first year when women were admitted, before then it was more Theology than anything, but I was reading Philosophy. Is Burgess Hall still there, or rather, was it?
It was then St David’s College.

The Canterbury buildings were already down by then. The new building has been on site and is looking shabby. We were there 1990 - 3. I know Contis well and of course the kings Head. Newbridge cafe is still there and there. There are a few new changes to Lampeter including a new Co op and a somerfield and library where the market was. A few of the big name shops have gone and Teso’s are looking to get their mits on the University Cricket pavillion so I have heard.
There were quite a few ecentric people there when we there and I well remember Dr Who soc. My friend wrote an article about Jonty for his magazine and it is amazing to see that he hasn’t changed so much. He used to wear red Jeans and have hair standing on end and basically looked 1970’s. I can remember he held a debate in the debating society and spoke through his teddy bear.

I knew Jonty from Lampeter University. An intelligent guy quite unlike the other airheads on the show. Eight languages? Brian and Liam can hardly speak one let alone 8.

I, Randolf, the renowned commentor on this board will now address the Jonty issue.
Newcomers, do not, and never, gloss over my comments.
In long threads, it is easy to skip various parts because you assume more dullwitted comments will follow.
This is not the case with me.
All my posts have detailed superior intellect and observation, and should be regarded as the most high quality reading material on this board.

Actually, watching Big Brother is just another form of entertainment. You enjoy watching films, tv shows and documentaries yes?
I assume you do, as to find stimulous, readily in the form of a TV or radio, is a normalised practice.
So, in turn, to slate me as a ‘loser’ (you spelt it looser, like the retard you are), is absurd.
Big Brother, when the right contestants are in, makes for excellent TV.
Now, I verbally bash those who evict good housemates (see: Charley/Victor/Science etc) and in turn ruin the essence of good TV.
You, being the peasant you are, fail to note this.
I deserve an award for excellence and originality, as my perspective is never uttered by others as they are not capable of understanding the concept of entertainment.
So impressed with myself, I shall copy and paste this very message to other sections, in an effort to spread awareness of my unique and envyable perspective.
Now, in regards to Jonty, it should be noted that he has the potential to be a good housemate IF the others REACT to his socially inept behaviour.
This has happened already with Gerry, as he does not like Jonty’s manner when in discussion.
However, Jonty as himself is not overly entertaining, and instead sleeps for much of the day and makes the occasional fart every so often.
He does need to be at the center of arguments and drama to be considered a legend, so, as it currently stands, we must see him as an ‘average’ housemate at best.

I think that the voters got it wrong for the first time in this series tonight, Amy was stereotyped as the scheming tart, suffering the consequences of our social double standards between men and women, Liam gets off scot free whilst Amy is the whore.
I find Jonty an almost pityful character, a social misfit, who claims to find ’spanking’ more arousing than sex- when the problem is simply that this man is incapable of achieving real intimacy with a fellow human being at any level.
His social development is clearly under evolved and he probably has guilt issues about his sexuality/preferences going back to his adolescance; this latent homophobia and intense sensitivity to criticism of any kind are connected.
Why do the BB producers fail to avoid putting such fragile and damaged people into the house, when clearly they lack the confidence or personal strength to withstand the inevitable public scrutiny? Although I dislike Jonty and find him sinister and perverse he will become yet another victim chewed up and spat out by the BB experience.
The twins or Kara-Louise should have gone tonight, they have nothing more to offer and are extremely bland, Jonty should never have been placed in the show and Amy has become a victim of demonisation and poor judgement.

Now, for those who have read my previous posts (the only coherent/commonsensical ones), you would come to realise that people like Kara, the twins and Liam bring very little to the Big Brother house.
Unfortunately, because the voting public (you lot) are thick, I suspect Kara will stay, and David or Shannessa will leave.
Do I like David or Shannessa?
No.
But do I appreciate the entertainment value they will undoubtebly bring to the house?
