Manchester United’s Rio Ferdinand’s Moment Of Clarity
MANCHESTER United’s over-rated “ball-playing” centre-half Rio Ferdinand is apparently having a crisis of conscience.
The 28-year-old defender has admitted that he’s not worth the massive £29million price tag United were forced to cough up to take him from Leeds United.
“I don’t think anyone is worth that kind of money”, he says.
But will he start handing back a sizeable chunk of his £100,000 a week wage? One imagines not.

Do you really think ol’ Red Nose would keep shelling out 100 very big ones a week to Rio if it didn’t:
a) stop anyone else in the EPL playing the most physically fortunate (for playing football that is) and able central defender we have seen since Jack Charlton and Paul Madeley had to give up sliding in on one occasion in every 100 sucessful tackles or interceptions,
b) mean that he doesn’t have to hoover up three nearly as good but not really imports every season who will be better looking but also want to go somewhere else quite soon?

Why rubbish Rio guys. Could it be a mere touch of jelousy? If he can pull off hundred grand a week, good luck to the geezer.

Any man who has a mouth that resembles a Mexican Wave cannot be worth £29 million. Add to that the fact that he is a shit footballer and I think it is case proven.
