John Smeaton Meets Gordon Brown
JOHN Smeaton sees a man emerge from the burning car at a space where a Glsagow Airport departure gate used to be. Says Smeaton: “I thought, ‘You’re not hitting the police mate’. All that was going through my mind was I’ve got to help the policeman. It’s your civic duty.”
Now John Smearon is meeting another great Scot, sorry, Great Briton - Gordon Brown.
