One day during conversation, the subject of the British Raj (Rule) came up. "Now I'm in for it", I thought...

The guy blew my mind, saying "When the British were there, we enjoyed law and order and people had respect for one another, since then - it's gone to hell, and I'm not the only one to think so."

Given that we are portrayed as the bad guys during our occupation of India. I thought this an interesting observation coming, as it was, from an Indian "man on the street."</description>
