A Pause: Princess Diana Was Pregnant
“DIANA was nine weeks pregnant when she died.” So says the Express on its front page.
Might this child have lived? Could it be that out there in the greater world is a ten-year-old with tight blonde curly hair, a tilting head and a predisposition for candles?
The Express calls the news “sensational”. And such is the sense of shock that the paper challenges its readers to respond to the question: “Do you believe Diana was pregnant when she died?”
We no longer believe, we know. As the papers says, an investigative journalist “formerly of the reputable Paris Match magazine” has uncovered the “explosive proof” that Diana was with child.
This sleuth is one Chris Lafaille. And he writes: “It is near certainty Diana was nine to 10 weeks pregnant at the time she died.”
Near certain? Having eschewed the phone vote, we now pick up the receiver and dial once for “No” and once again for “Yes”. That’s a maybe. But we suspect Diana was pregnant, possibly with twins, so we dial a further three times for “yes”.
And we wait for Lafaille’s book, Diana: the Inquiry They Never Published to reach the bookshops…

Didn’t know TRJ book was comeing out again. is he going to rename it selective amnesia! All of you who just take what you are told by those in power to be true are just sleeping and you will one day awaken. and when you do please don’t be scared it’s just the real world.
Diana told us in her own words she felt her time was about to end.

Could you imagine if Charles & Camilla had kids…..ewwwwww…..horrid thought…ugly as sin
August 24th, 2007 at 9:48 am
But TRJ had a v.good recall of the days before the crash when Al-F was busy desperately trying to hook his son up with St Di. it was Al-F who (allegedly!!) ordered the car switch and the use of Henri Paul.
worth a read for a different take on all the sentimental claptrap that is due next week!!!!!

Trevor Reece-Jones couldn’t remember anything about the accident. M15 erased his memory.

All joking apart (even if this in Anorak)… way back when the accident happened and before all the conspiracy theories started to breed, I read the book ‘The Bodyguards Story’ by Trevor Reece-Jones who was in the car. It was so interesting and I understand its coming out again soon, though I don’t know all the details.
Its good to read because it was before all the Al-F spin got in motion!!
Okay, done serious!!

Moderation, just had a look at that Mills and Boon/ Dodi did Di link - brought tears to my eyes and has given me some decorating ideas. The old fella could give dreamy Brian a run for his money.

Moderation you dreadful skeptic, Dreamy Brian has the most unbelieveable and enviable hindsight I’ve ever seen. Pity, really that he didn’t contact the Princes of Wails and remind her to buckle up in the back seat.

I’ll have a look at that June it sound like the kind of career advice I’ve been searching for.
Simon, when I think of Her Ruffled Collarness, I think of LOMBARDs and FIGJAMs.

Apparently she was/is? a EHWC yet also a HAWGSOH.

This is the truth according to the gospel of Al-F. I’m more inclined to believe in Brians Dreams meself!!

Penster, I asked as the Anoraks are getting into serious practice for the booze up next year, the winning team is Torri’s Tipplers Troupe the losers are the Dastards. Have you seen it in Discussion and Gossip yet?

JuneJohnson. I only stop working on the computer at night when I’m so drunk I cant find the keyboard. I also have a better theme song than Goodbye English Rose. “Dodi deeds. Done dirt cheap”. Actually the M15 conspiracy theorists might like to use it as their theme.

The sculpture is still there in all its tacky, tasteless glory!! One has to avert ones eyes on the escalator!
August 23rd, 2007 at 2:15 pm
You wikkid person, Penster! Do you drink at all?
August 23rd, 2007 at 2:09 pm
Do they sell anoraks at Harvey Nicks or just parkas and raincoats?
August 23rd, 2007 at 2:08 pm
Is the touching (metaphorically speaking) memorial to Dianna and Dodi still located under the stairs near the back entrance of Harrods? I was sorely (metaphorically speaking) tempted to inscribe “Dodi did Di” on it.
August 23rd, 2007 at 2:04 pm
wonder if they sell landmines detectors in Harvey Nicks? But seriosuly theymust miss her there, but at least we 3 Anorakians shop there now
August 23rd, 2007 at 1:48 pm
And those missing limbs from landmines and shodding window dressing
August 23rd, 2007 at 1:45 pm
JuneJohnson that is despicable. The people’s princess was making anonymous night visits to give comfort to AIDS ridden store mannequins.
August 23rd, 2007 at 1:08 pm
Randie , Torri and myself got stuck for days in Harvey Nicks with only bills charge account to keep us going, but we did hear ghostly footsteps from the upper floors…..ooer

She’s alive you know…
August 23rd, 2007 at 11:19 am
Thankgod she didn’t produce any more dullards like the Princes Beavis and Butthead.

If its in the Al-Fayed Express then it MUST be true, eh??
I love that paper (not) … it’s coverage of Diana and Madeleine is full of ifs, buts, and maybes as well as… sources close to…… allegedly…. and the favourite….. ‘it has been rumoured’. i.e. Nothing to do with me guv.
Diana and Madeleine are blurring into one on the front pages so I guess Dessie is hedging his bets as to which will be the biggest story at the end of the month!!
