Blindspots are sometimes hard to explain to those of us that have them. Its not likely that coaching a person you don’t know and are in some minor conflict with in an envrionment such as this is really worthwhile BUT! I will try in your case to help;

Well, i get your hardly in the right place to consider this, but I should post anyway…

Robert Murat, why is it taking so long to clear him (if as reported that he will be cleared) do th/e Police need evidence that somebody else was involved before they can clear him ?

There was talk of mobile phone experts being drafted in to follow up on Murat’s movements that evening using his mobile phone signal………the press have not speculated as to whether there was any evidence to support or contradict his staement that he was in for the evening.

Also there were initial reports that Portugese sniffer dogs traced a trail of Madeleine’s scent right to the villa (is this now a load of bull……..if so why don’t the press think of this when writing their following update and question their ‘police source’ as now they right ‘expected that Murat will be cleared in days’.

All very sad, I can’t follow it or make anything of what is reported as the press are too thick to question or correct what they wrote the week before.

Good luck to the official investigation team and please please press do not be so stupid as you are losing credibility (or sorry have lost credibility) as you contradict from one week to the next without explanaion.

If Maddies parents are indeed responsible, they have let this poor man be a suspect all this time. That alone should be worth 10 years in prison, apart from any other charges.

ITV reporters also have a lot to answer for by reporting him to the police then treating him as a big suspect. The media now want to create the news.

You should be out there in Portugal, sorting it all out. Give the Portuguese a few tips so they can get it all fixed.

I am a doctor’s child too and we never were left alone, except for one time where no babysitter was found for us. My older brother was 10 at that time and I was 6, my small brother 2 and a half. We were sitting the whole evening at the small brother’s bedside to watch him sleeping and my big brother had a telephone number to call, just in case. He was at that time already very experienced in telephone calls doing. So that was the only time we all remember till now, in fact very proudly. My parents by the way returned after 3 hours, my mother said, that she did not enjoy the event very much, because we were left alone at home.

I still hope for a very good outcome. Let’s just hope and pray.

I also think he needs to be educated on what a message board is. Or perhaps we should think about taking legal action against him re: asses remark. But wait! that wouldn’t be fair; he’s entitled to his opinion!

I find it interesting and compelling hearing everyones thoughts on this tough subject.

As for motive to the media. Your logic is sound, for a normal person in a normal situation. So, like you I can not comprehend why this would make any sense.

I also can not comprehend why anyone would murder their own child. Making sense of motive in any of this is not helpful.
