Hello Brits! I`m a guy from Romania who would like to comment on your little article. After years and years and years of stupid western reporters comming to “investigate” the “discrimanation” of gypsies in Romania, and after hundreds of raps from the E.U. and tens of NGO`s who tried to justify their existance (”Bad, bad Romanians!!! Why do you discrimiante the Gypsies??? Behave, Romanians/Hungarians/Bulgarians, behave, or else….”) I can finally rest assure that you get a taste of these people. Don`t misstreat them? Don`t discriminate them??? Please Brits, do show us how that is done.

My normally ‘moderate’ (ha ha ha ha) views went out of the window when, in Lille, I was surrounded by a group of these ‘colourfully dressed young women’ in an attempt to mug me with a smile. A passing couple of Gendarmes were my heroes that day otherwise I wouldn’t have stood a chance despite my 100% awareness of mugging!

For a few pages I may be an Express reader (vbg) but then I do live just a few miles away from the biggest travellers camp in the country so I know its not just Rogarians…..
