Not too long as we learn in the Mirror of cholesterol test for children at 15 months.
“110,000 deaths a year from GB’s biggest killer heart disease,” says the Mirror in a factoid spread across the story.

That age of the victims of killer hearts is not mentioned, so we turn to the Mail which says 15 months is the age when cholesterol levels start to rise. And know that you can get a heart attack in your 20s and 30s.
