Madeleine McCann: Call Off The Dogs, Kate McCann’s Tears And Fatima

Gerry and Kate McCann have consulted lawyers working on behalf of Eugene Zapata in Madison, Wisconsin.
In October 1976, Zapata’s wife, Jeanette, went missing. Her body has never been found. Last year sniffer dogs were brought in and Zapata was charged with her murder. The case went before Judge Patrick Fielder who said the evidence – dogs had picked up the scent of a corpse in Zapata’s basement – was inadmissible. He said the dogs were unreliable.
The dogs have yet to make a comment.

Pedro Daniel dos Anjos Frias wants to “speak freely” about the case.
Pages 6 and 7: “Mum’s tears at 11am Mass.” Once again the Mirror is all eyes for Kate McCann’s eyes. She is crying.
In church, Father Keith Tomlinson narrates the parable of the Prodigal Son. An eight-year-old child called Molly Earp reads “Jesus please continue to love and protect us, until she is found.”
And then Jesus can have a rest and the police can resume normal duties…
Pages 8 and 9: “On the beach Gerry gave Maddy loads of hugs and kisses, he was a perfect dad..The next time I saw him was about midnight..I saw a man alone, desperate. He was crying and screaming her name over and over and over again.” Words from a “WAITER AT MADDIE’S LAST MEAL” before she vanished.
THE SUN front page: “Maddie ‘gag’ lift.” Friends of Kate and Gerry McCann are hopeful of being allowed to speak out and defend themselves. A judge has asked for a lifting of Portugal’s secrecy laws.
Pages 6 and 7: “AGONY TO COME.” The Sun produces a picture of Kate and Gerry McCann’s wedding day. They are holding Kate’s goddaughter Ellie. There is also a new picture of Madeleine McCann “looking angelic”. Have you seen her? Or are you watching the parents?
THE EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE. POLICE TO SEARCH SHRINE FOR BODY.” The McCanns went to Fatima. The McCanns car clocked up 1,709 miles in the fives weeks after their daughter went missing.
THE WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER Pages 2 and 3: “Hand in hand, McCanns go to family church.” The “devoutly Catholic couple” are leaving for church from their “£600,000 home”. Kate McCann is carrying Cuddle Cat.
Pages 4 and 5: “1,000 letters each day in support of the McCanns. Between 500 and 1,000 letters a day arrive at the McCanns’ home. “There are some crank letters,” says a spokesman for the family, “but that’s inevitable.”
None of these letters are believed to point to the whereabouts of Madeleine McCann.
Alex Cayles, a former neighbour of the McCanns, says “I never heard Kate or Gerry raise their voices to their children or anyone else.” Can the same be said of any parents of three very young children?

The Star says police have read Kate McCann’s diary and “claim it reveals she had a motive to kill”.
Pages 4 and 5: “DID KATE HAVE A MOTIVE?”
Well, we haven’t read the diary, but…
“The idea that Portuguese detectives are looking at my daughter’s most personal thoughts and taking them out of context is terrible,” says Kate McCann’s father Brian Healy.
Pages 6 and 7: “HUNT AT HOLY SHRINE.” Is Madeleine McCann’s body buried at Fatima, one of the Catholic Church’s holiest sites? The Star says the couple went there three weeks after their daughter went missing.
We wonder. Is she? Or is she buried in Germany, America, London or Morocco, places also visited by the McCanns?
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “New allegations against McCanns - As the McCanns begin a new campaign to clear their names, further allegations emerged over the weekend.”
Oh?
“The hire car: The Renault Scenic hired by the McCanns 25 days after Madeleine went missing. New claims centre on its high mileage. Between May 27 and July 3, it was driven 1,700 miles, with police looking into the possibility that it may have been used to dispose of a body…There were also reports that detectives were waiting for permission from a judge to seize and dismantle the car to search for ‘traces of skin’.”

I’m interested in remote viewing and would try anything if my kid were missing. But I think it would be great to get a little more information than what I’ve read on Brian’s site. But I find his Madeleine thread difficult to follow. I always thought that Chemello guy & Vaz woman might have more information that what the police claimed they were being arrested for. Which was for fraud against the McCanns.

It is my understanding that the Teflon 2 cannot touch the “fund” money without the authorisations of the directors. Thus, to a degree, they are unable to simply pay any kidnapper without anyone else knowing. I assume that any would-be kidnapper would know this too.

If there was an abduction I think it would have happened between 8.30 and 9pm pm. McCanns had just left and were unlikey to have returned straightaway.
I do not think that McCann really bothered to check at 9 and I do not think that Oldfield did either at 9.30.

It’s taken a very long time for Kate and Gerry McCann to arrive where most other parents of missing children would automatically find themselves – were they maybe not quite so attractive, so much of the professional class, so sympathetic and so … white.

How come things such as sniffer dogs, dna evidence etc are widely regarded as very good possible indicators of guilt/innocence in criminal cases and yet as soon as the McCann case is reported all we hear is how such tools of investigation are deemed nonsense? Why is it with the McCanns there must be another explanation? Do some of us really find it so unlikely that these relatively ‘normal’ looking parents could possibly be capable of evil that we dismiss everything that may indicate otherwise? And please tell me where the body language experts are in the last 4 months? Yet another investigative tool of some merit which would clearly show probable lying by the McCanns during certain interviews and yet there is silence. And yes I know. We cant debate body language because yet again, the McCanns will be the first people to show that in their case its just a wrong assumption. If these people are tried then all this evidence will be disputed simply because its not necessarily 100% reliable. It wont matter that there is a multitude of such evidence which will indicate almost certain guilt. That would be ok for an unknown defendant. But when you’re a celebrity people go blind to what is actually in front of them. And when a celebrity mounts a widespread pr campaign and professes their absolute innocence then enough people will believe them and they”ll likely be aquitted unless the police find something concrete for the apologists. Lets hope they’re innocent of involvement. Certainly the McCann machine will have us believe that with smoke billowing in all directions there is actually no fire whatsoever. If they weren’t now such media stars who would believe such crap? The police haven’t made them suspects for a laugh, we assume. Lets hope whoever did whatever in this sorry affair is brought to justice. I just hope that the warped, celebrity obsessed culture which brought us a ’search for Madeleine’ does not abdicate its responsibility in what has now become a ’search for justice for Madeleine’. Nobody,absolutely nobody should be ‘off limits’ or get preferential treatment when trying to explain away the inexplicable. A complete stranger may be guilty here but it is becoming uncomfortably clear that things are getting uncomfortable much closer to home…………

134…Once I read in a paper that this was after all the same government administration that in the dispute about the Iraq weapons of mass destruction allowed leaks and revealed sources that led to the suicide of a man whose only fault was saying what he thought. Why? Just because the government didn’t want to look bad in the picture. It looks like we’re back to the same principles in the McCann case.
There are over 120 forensic pathologists who say that man was murdered,not suicide, they tried a few times to get case reopened and were shut down ..natch….

54….Branson was listed as one of original backers of Find Madeline who along with 5 others removed their assistance when they were made suspects. Now he changed his mind..again is helping with the legal fees..According to Mail Fascist reporters. Why do they so staunchly refuse to entertain a single query no matter how intelligent and polite…..and refuse to print any negative comments…maybe the McCanns subscribe to it…..seriously though last week lawyers and PR etc had a day long meeting with media.. and it was agreed that under UK innocent until proven guilty, media must stay on their sides.I saw than bit on TV new bulletins.
For me, whether they are guilty of foul play or not, it is ALL their fault for leaving the kids alone night after night so they could party on and on and on.
NOTW ran the slop about the witness who could clear them cos he spoke to GM in alley.. it sounds like tosh, and said guy is in media too.!!!!He looks a bit iffy as well and only met him on that holiday so does not really know them.He has given some statement at the time, to police……and was ignored so he says. I think he is yet another Team Player dragged in on damage limitations.
To be fair..the Mc’s could have chalked up mileage on their own search ,though they never said so…..

The Official Madeleine site is a disappointingly uninformative site - there is little about Madeleine.
Following along this line - the line of “the dog that did not bark” - forget the sniffer dogs whose barking is of little worth - why have we not heard from:
- M’s kindergarten teacher - the customary thing for the school to say is that the missing child is the most popular/ talented and most loved in the class;
- from parents of M’s friends saying how much her mates are missing her,

First of all I am appauled by the Branson jesture - regardless of the guilty or not guilty of being party to the death of their daughter - they sure as hell are guilty of neglect. If they are so sure of their innocence they should not need to plead to celebs. to get them out of the hole = the hole incidentally that they have dug for themselves from day one. Richard Branson has gone down dramatically in my estimation - the pledge £100,000 would have gone to better use had he donated it to providing a cheche in an inner city location, where the mums would love a break for a few hours but cant afford child care. Hey but now, they can leave their kids unattended and should the worst happed - go cap in hand to Richard - he’ll bail me out. Like hell he would - Branson would not have got the publicity from that one would he? By contributing to legal beavers to fight the case of these two irresponsible people is no more and no less that condoning their actions to leave the children alone. I travel regularly to the US, but in future, my last choice will be Virgin Airlines - I used to think they were decent - but not any more.

That’s really interesting about that money meter on the Madeleine site. When I first saw it I thought it was in really poor taste. I cannot imagine that any PR consultant would believe it to be a good idea. And they definitely have more than the meter reads. I’ve read conflicting reports on how much they’ve stolen…err I mean collected.

The Madeleine site is bizarre. It’s not like any other missing child’s website I’ve ever seen. Because in truth that site, like everything else in this deranged saga, is not about Madeleine but it all about G&K.
