Rear Of The Year: Sian Lloyd’s Gets Cheeky

KNICKERS off to Sian Lloyd for eschewing labels in favour of jeans made by “beating bowel cancer”.

Although ITV weather girl Ms Lloyd may be accused of using her position to advertise product.

(When does a weather girl become a weather woman and what of weather persons?)But we can find it within ourselves to look past the label toward the greater Ms Lloyd and focus on her backside, which is the best in the business. And that’s official.

“Not even I could forecast the sizzling high pressure that brought me this hot award,” says Mss Lloyd, proud holder of Rear Of The Year title.

As history tells us, Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik would once have delighted in such news. But he left 49-year-old Lloyd for 24-year-old Cheeky Girl Gabriela, one half of The Cheeky Girls.

No small irony here in that the Romanian two piece rose to prominence inviting Western European men to Touch My Bum.

Europhile Mr Opik accepted. And must now live with his choice…

To win she stays well off the beer !
That Lembit’s not nice !
He’ll feel freezing Welsh ice,

Sian Lloyd is cleverer than many people might think.
She is the daughter of two teachers and attended Ystalyfera Bilingual Secondary School where she was Head Girl. She won an Eisteddfod Crown for best poetic work whilst at school. You don’t become Head Girl without combining good academic ability with other leadership skills etc.
She attained First Class Honours in her degree course at Cardiff University, then went on to Jesus College Oxford to read for a further degree in Celtic Studies. However, she left after a year. I don’t blame her . The range of employment opportunities ….apart from in teaching….connected to Celtic Studies is very limited.
She did a Welsh language series about ten years involving skeet [ clay pigeon] shooting in which two lit clays [ spotlights on them] were released in darkness in front of a very big circular score-board , about 50 feet high, in rapid succession. That lady can shoot!! She was CONSISTENTLY hitting those clays !
She is a crack shot!!
There is far more to Sian Lloyd than a mere “Rear of the Year” .

while watching her do the weather this evening 12/11/07 my stunning 37 year old wife said she is about the same age as her , i thought and said no way she gotta be 42-45 , bugger me !!!!! she`s 50 ,, fare doo`s` to her

She is an ITV weather woman and I was not aware of any multi-million transfer deal to BBC. A journalist with a brain as well as an almost 50-year-old wiggle…she’ll do. If she wants to continue to keep bad company I will be available Tuesday evenings and Friday lunchtimes.
