Madeleine McCann: Missing Hours, Found Again And A PR Disaster

THE SUN front page: “MADDIE DAD AGONY. Fiend hid from Gerry. He was already in room he tells cops.”
A source close to the family says: “When Gerry went to check on Madeleine at 9.05pm he realised the bedroom door was open. Gerry is firmly of the view the abductor was already in the apartment.”
It’s another theory.
“When he went in he saw Madeleine was asleep but the bedroom door was slightly open. He thought, ‘That’s odd’ because he had left it firmly closed. But all the children were asleep. So he just went in and closed the door again and came out about 9.10pm.”
Good to hear Gerry McCann joining in the mood of speculation?
“Gerry is convinced the man must have been hiding, and once Gerry went through the patio doors the only way out was through the window. The front door was locked so the kidnapper took Madeleine and climbed out the window.”
DAILY MIRROR front page: “HOW SHE WAS TAKEN. The McCanns’ story.”
“Stolen to order after being spied on for days
Abductor hid in flat as Gerry looked in on kids
He got in through patio doors and out by window”
Gerry is a “heart specialist”.
Says a source: “When Gerry leaves, the man realises he has only a few minutes. He thinks the only way to get out without being seen is through the window.”
And: “Initially he thought Madeleine might have got up and gone to the toilet, or to get a drink or something.”
So what has changed? Why a new theory now, with a new spokesman on hand and the McCanns named as suspects?
DAILY STAR front page: “SEVEN HOURS TO KLILL MADDIE. Police probe her ‘lost’ final afternoon”
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE: THE MISSING SEVEN HOURS.”
Police sources reveal that “despite exhaustive inquiries they cannot confirm the whereabouts of part-time GP Kate, 39, and her daughter after 1.29pm on May 3”. A source said Kate’s movements were “unaccounted for until she sat down to have dinner with friends at a tapas restaurant within their holiday complex at around 8.40pm”.
The last photograph of Madeleine was said to have been taken by Kate at 2.29pm on May 3.
DAILY MAIL: “McCanns: What we really did in the missing six hours.”
“Madeleine had high tea at 5.30pm with staff at the Kids Club. She was picked up shortly before 6pm by Kate and Gerry.”
The friend insisted: “Kate was never alone with Madeleine that afternoon. There were always other witnesses present. These details were all given to detectives during police interviews, so they know what Kate and Gerry said happened that day.”
So no missing hours, then?

The McCanns are not and may never face any charges. This week they heard that they will not be called back for further questioning anytime soon.
So, Moderation, The Real Stig, Simon, Maria et al, answer me this. Why are they still mounting a defence instead of doing anything to Find Madeleine?
I have not heard of any “leaks” from the PJ that the McCanns could think require answering lately but still they are releasing information about what supposedly happened on May 3rd. Why?
Of course, you all know the answer. It’s because they’ve turned their attention onto us. People who post in forums or people who post comments on newspaper sites. Why do they feel the need to do this? If they ever do face charges it will be in Portugal (unless the UK’s pathetic government refuse extradition) and in front of Judges, not a jury of their peers. Why do they care so much that newspaper readers and internet bloggers and forum posters and YouTube viewers believe them to be innocent?
I’ve asked these questions 3 times since I heard that they wouldn’t be called back for further questioning?
Why won’t the McCanns shut up now? When will they take a back seat to their daughter in the news? Why aren’t they doing something to Find Madeleine?

Why the problem with Oldfield?
If there are any suspicous actions amongst the tapas 9 I would have though O’Brien and Tanner were more likely. Tanner is the one who saw someone wrapped in a blanket but later remembered they were wearing pink pyjamas. She saw them but the person who was with Gerry did not. O’Brien was the one who was away from the table most of the time. His daughter was ill, is there any confirmation of this?

I always enjoy reading your posts. They are always fair, articulate and intelligent thoughts. Too bad Anorak if filled with posters who prefer the lynch-mob mentality.
When I first started reading this forum, I thought it might be interesting, but the more I read the more I realised it was full of hate mongers, witch hunters and most with an IQ and literacy level of about 0. Whoever runs Anorak should be embarrassed of this forum and the aggressive, prejudice, and violent bile that comes out of it.
This forum is only addictive because it has a school playground mentality where people insult and bully those who do not agree with them. The forum is filled to the brim with vile insults alone. I don’t know anymore who is posting here, are they adults are they bored teenagers? Judge Judy for example claims to have 3 children yet she finds plenty of time to post some of the most hateful mail I have ever read. Will she teach her children that people are gulity until proven innocent. Will this be her legacy to her children one day? I hope not for their sake.
And what about Ade?? Sorry Ade you come to mind because I see your name all over this site and you are only one among many. I think one if your past posts read something like this, “we just need a bit more evidence to NAIL them”. Who the hell do you think you are? You definitely are not a leader Ade but a coward little follower who is hiding behind his posts with big talk, sarcastic remarks, prejudice commentary of a family you don’t even know. I just find this so bizarre! You really just come across as a hate monger, nothing more and nothing less.
And Firestar, another person who posts endlessly from morning, noon until past midnight endless dumb posts, do you have a life, a job, a family? How do you find the time to come here day in day out posting the same old garbage - are you not boring your self?
And Canda, I truly am embarrassed for you. I have lived in Canada and it is a country that I am very fond of because it is a very tolerent country with a politcally
neutral position regarding world conflicts. Canada is full of different, races, religions, cultures and although not 100% perfect manages to hold it together precisely because of its tolerance towards others. You embarass Canada for using it as a username because you too come across as a hate monger, nothing more, nothing less.
Again I could pick out a number of other posters here that going on about their HATE for the McCanns and even make ugly comments at the expense of Madeleine McCann because they think they are being clever or funny or whatever but an intelligent person reading this forum realises pretty quickly the sickness that ebbs through each and every hate-mongering post.
I can onlyimagine the number of posts that will follow mine, more dumb childish insults I am sure. But it doesn’t matter because it will just prove my point even more about how pathetic this forum is and how base the arguments really are.
So continue you on boring yourselves because as soon as this case ends, you’ll all be back spewing your venom about something else because maybe it helps you release something that is upsetting you in your own sad little lives.

It could all be a hoax that has gone horribly wrong.
My initial reaction was that the McCanns knew where M was and what had happened to her. Judging by their UNSHAKABLE and CONSISTENTLY composed manner, my feeling was that she must be OK because they did not behave like grieving parents.
I thought that once they had been to see the Pope and visited Fatima (yes remember those Halycon by-gone days following them around on their tour…) M would suddenly appear. They could then claim it was a miracle and pocket the fund-money. End of story. Mission accomplished. Scam over.
But things snow-balled. Big Brother wasn’t exciting enough this year so instead all eyes were on the McCanns. As each day went by they got deeper and deeper into the deception and now are snookered.
Claiming the reward money was always going to be risky because people would want even more questions answered.
If after about 30 days she had miraculously re-appeared then I think they would have been able to keep the fund money and we would now all be thinking ‘Madeleine who’?

The Vatican hasn’t withdrawn anything…. The McCanns have not been charged or convicted of ANYTHING. The Church more than anyone works on ‘innocent until proven guilty’.
The records from the creche for that afternoon are with the PJ…. MW staff confirmed when asked by the press. (possibly Sky?)

1015 - The last sighting according to the News of the World was 7pm by David Payne. He (WAS ON HOLIDAY WITH THE McCANNS), and claims to have visited the McCanns apartment and saw Madeleine being put to bed.
Strange how he has only just sated this fact in light of the ‘missing 6 hour theory’.
