RANT OF THE DAY
Why are there still people will to forgive the Mccanns for leaving 3 children under the age of 4 alone in an apartment with an unlocked patio door.
The only possible answer can be that they themselves do it, and its a case of ‘There but for the grace of God go I’.
While such people exist, the act of negligence towards children will be tolerated by society. They will be left at home, or allowed to play out unsupervised. They will be allowed to walk 30 yrds in front or behind the person responsible for them. They will be talk to strangers because there is no one to stop them. They will continue to be abducted and or murdered.
Get real dogooders. You are the dregs of society. It was thanks to people such as you, that society changed for the worse in the 80’s, ending with the Childrens Act 1989. That gave children more freedom and responsibility for themselves but they were too young to encompass that freedom and responsibility. Luckily the majority of parents at that time saw the problem and did not give in to the new laws.
The children of the 80’s are now 20 and 30 something and it is their children who are now at risk. As time goes by the pyramid effect will increase the number of people who grow up without adequate supervision, respect for others, and the new generation of non carers to their own children. They won’t give a second thought to the fact that they are placing their children in danger of becoming a victim, because they will continue to believe it is alright to allow their children to go unsupervised.
On another note, the talk of leaving children alone in a hotel room is irrelevant in this case. Madeleine was not in an hotel room, she was in an apartment that opened up onto a secluded street, and the patio door was left unlocked. There is no comparison.

What infuriates me is how Team McCann used that widely reported story about Madeleine falling over on the way out to Portugal. When you look at the video, there’s no way she would cut her leg as she fell on her hands while holding something soft. She was also wearing trousers so God knows how she would bleed onto her shoe.
I laid the gauntlet down to Stig because whenever anyone says anything about the McCanns, he staunchly defends them and if you ask him/her for evidence, all you get is a link to a Sun newspaper article. This video clearly shows the bullshit we’re fed from Team McCann.

I am interested in the recent law change. I wonder is it correct that details of the investigation can be released to the media if the SUSPECTS REQUEST it ?
We really need to know, because if this is true, it tells us that they don’t WANT the evidence known, but prefer to go on manipulating rumour.
Why have the press not homed in on the new law, and publically explored its exact implications for this case ? Hardly irrelevant, is it ?

For days now, a major thread in the catalogue of the complaints made against the McCanns is that they had not put a team together to search for her - well, it now seems that they did and did so promptly.
I thought you lot would be more excited by the allegation that the PJ seized a manual on UK Police Methods from the McCanns - even I thought that noteworthy if true.

Some sites only show stills of that video. It clearly shows that Madeleine’s “fall” was not the cause of any bleeding. To those prats in the McCann camp that think it is the cause of her bleeding on her shoe then I suggest you go get your brain tested as well as your eyes.

In Portugal yesterday it was revealed that detectives have seized a British police manual from the McCanns.
Officers believe the book could be used as a key piece of evidence in building a case against them.
A Portuguese police source said: “It is certainly not the sort of reading material you would expect a couple to take on a relaxing family holiday.”

So the McCanns picked asecurity organisation with ex SAS and Military intelligence correct me if Im wrong but these are soldiers albeit with many specialist skills none of which being investigation of crime. The Special Boat service could be used to dive in the waters off Portugal I suppose but would that be in the best interest of the client? Me thinks the McCanns would do better to hire trained detectives. Suppose an arabic speaking soldier could pursue the lesser spotted Morrocan re herring.

One last post…on the subject of libel… don’t worry about maria and the realstigs comments about it over the weekend on the subject of libel….they are full of sh1t.
Sure we have the toughest libel laws and you should always be cautious in any thing you write. I mean for example it would be wrong and libelous if you wrote that Robert Murrat was a pedophile, child snatching pervert…..isn’t that right maria….
But you can only libel the mccans if you post untruths and damaged their public image….. so no worries there then…. The Mccann PR team are doing that all by them selfs.

My local rag ran a feature on the brave kate mccan at the weekend. The author even had the bloody cheek to suggest that women aspire to be like her. Like duck they do. You’d have to be nuts… mmm there’s a thought.
But it got me thinking about what it is that has been bugging me about circus mccann.
Why are all these wealthy millionaires and “influential” people so keen to support them. At the weekend I thought that perhaps the mccanns are part of a social experiment. I know it has been said that this is all a hoax. But what if, as is most likely MM is missing, but the pr campaign is an experiment with the mccanns it’s subject [or bait even].
The name Hobsbawn, keeps re-appearing every time you look deeper into this. Julia Hosbawn promotes her Editoial Intelligence, with its strong Political ties. Did you know it was Julia Hobsbawn who first introduced Sarah Macaulay [now Sarah Brown] to our current prime minister Gordie Brown.
Julia Hobsbawn has more than just tenuous links to Phillip Green [remember him ? the wealthy billionaire who lent the mccanns his private jet and put up shed loads of cash]
Editorial Intelligence was established to create a definitive portal to the Commentariat – the word coined by by them to describe the world of comment and opinion. Remember what Clarence Mitchell’s last jobs were …Journalist and head of the governments media monitoring unit.
This is not about whether they think the mccanns are innocent or not. What if it was tested to see if you could make a really bad news story good. Forget Iraq that’s far too gone. No take this couple thrust head long into the news and see if you really can make good from bad by truly bringing together PR/Journalism/Internet comment and manipulating it’s content. The commercial and the political world would pay shed loads of money for a tool like this.
