Mark Warner certainly promote their resorts as child friendly. Look at their website. But they only promote themselves as child firendly in the sense that they run kids clubs (ie child care) and offer baby sitting services.
They do NOT imply anywhere that you can leave your children alone in an unlocked apartment while you go out drinking.

For those who believe the theory that the parents were involved in the death of Madeleine, subsequently covering it up: Do you believe they would have been able to act normally when back at the Tapas bar? Surely they would have displayed obvious signs to the members of the Tapas 9 who didn’t - as part of the theory - know what had happened.
Of course, if they were mentally deranged in some fashion they could possibly show little emotion. But if they were psychopathic, or similar, then surely there would be evidence of this from their pasts.

I agree it’s a lose-lose situation and the loving local lady abduction idea would be good but very unlikely.
What really ticks me off more than anything is that Gerry and Kate embarked on a crusade to raise awareness about missing children. They should have looked in the mirror, held their hands up and embarked on a crusade to educate parents not to leave toddlers alone in a room while you go out boozing. That’s why those parents infuriate me.
It would be analogous to discarding a burning cigarette in your home, have it burn to the ground and then go out on a crusade saying that homes should be made fireproof.

The Mccanns couldnt possibly travel to Marrakech for a number of reasons:-
- it would detract from the important task of building their defence case
- Morrocco is secretly run by the Portugese government and “Portugese law does not permit” them to search for her on their territory
- Gerry hasnt had his haircut yet
- Cuddle Cat was in the washing machine again and Kate is waiting for him to dry so she can take him with her

Chloe… yes they do. over the course of a few years I spent a lot of time in hotels and yes they do! All the time…. no I don’t agree with it and no I never did it when I holidayed with children anywhere, but it happens all the time.
People go on holiday and throw caution to the wind.
I’ve always said, I don’t think the McCanns are guilty because I can’t get to grips with timelines and reasons. I believe the abduction theory for a variety of reasons.
If the McCanns did it then why should I have a problem? I’ve always said IMO.
But some of the nonsensical stuff put forward is so crazy…..
I’ve posted links to facts form ALL the papers and I’m open to being convinced but nonsense about freemasons, the pope, a missing priest who is not missing, a manual for murder and political intrigue sends me further away from the ‘McCanns did it’.
Reasoned argument and solid facts would be good……….

In August I was out ten-pin bowling with my family and 2 lanes across from us was a girl who was the spitting image of Madeleine. We all did double takes once I pointed her out.
But it wasn’t Madeleine because this girl was happily playing with her family at 8pm.
Remember the poor bloke in Belgium with his daughter who police took DNA samples from the bottle she’d been drinking out of? He came forward to show it wasn’t Madeleine.
Once you report a missing person, you get sightings all over the world. With a 2 million pound reward don’t you think she’d have been found by now if she was actually seen out in public?

You know, the sad thing is, this is the ultimate lose-lose situation.
It is true that quite a few people here seem to have come, over time, to a position of certainty, or near certainty about what did or did not happen.
Disagreements then occur here, competitive arguments and personalised insults.
But whatever the outcome, no-one is going to win except in the very puniest ego sense.
Someone, somewhere has done something very bad - our task is to discover who and what. The only possible outcome which is not really bad is that M was impulse-taken by a local lady and looked after with love for a few months until found.
Possible, but not top of my list.
And even then, if one end result is that child-neglect is increased through public endorsement - that is very bad news for many many little children in the future.

197 I think the falling on the stairs and not cutting the leg video but landing on your hands instead is pretty indisputable. Everyone in this forum can look at that clip for themselves. We can also find the statments where the McCann camp stated blood in the apartment was from an injury to the leg sustained falling on the stairs going into the plane and that MM had crawled under the sofa where the blood was found.

Just a quick line or two…
I was thinking back about the sighting in Morocco and what a deep effect it had on me at the time. I was also wondering why the parents didn’t go to the very place of the sighting, to show around Madeleine’s picture, to ask people at the gas station. And now I find it even odder as two sightings from the time had been reported. The parents only went the half way, to Rabat (?) to campaig and to find out there was a lot of child exploitation in Morocco even by fathers. Why not go all the way to Marrakesh then as that’s the natural thing for a parent to do, cling on to any clue. Especially given all the resources the mcCann’s had/have?
Speaking of which, now it seems that the money only is serving to continue a cover up and to fake searching for Maddie, as perhaps there’s is no other option to a) spend the money b) act in a credible way.

In the early days Sky news showed the actual clip of Madeleine falling up the plane steps and the graze on her knee when seated on the plane. I watched it, and I can assure you that there wasn’t enough blood to have dripped on anything. There would have been a scab however that could have fallen of in the apartment.

Madeleine’s parents to move out of Ocean Club apartment as the search continues

Madeleine McCann’s parents are to move home in the resort where their daughter vanished as they prepare to stay in Portugal for as long as it takes to find her.
Gerry and Kate McCann plan to relocate in the next fortnight if there is no progress in the hunt for the missing four-year-old.
Four-year-old Madeleine disappeared on May 3. Reports of Madeleine sightings have come from as far afield as Malta and Marakech
The couple and their two-year-old twins, Sean and Amelie, have been living in a rented apartment in the Ocean Club in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, the complex where Madeleine was taken from her bed 54 days ago.
They have used it as a campaign base in the search for their daughter.
Mr McCann said: “If Madeleine is not found in the next couple of weeks we need to move out of the apartment we’ve been staying in as the family who own it are coming out for a holiday.
Madeleine: More alleged sightings in Malta

Moderation … I’m unsure as to why you keep pushing the Rachel Charles case as if it were proof positive of the McCanns’ innocence. It may well be that the conviction in the Charles case was unsound, and that the girl’s stepfather or someone else was responsible, as rumour claims - but even if that were so, it does not automatically follow that the same mistakes/situations are occurring in the McCann case.
It is like claiming that if Barry George (an equally disputed case) is innocent then the same must be said of Ian Huntley - it’s just not a logical argument or conclusion

If the Abduction story is genuine then why haven’t the McCanns’ elite squad found any evidence to suggest an abduction ever took place? As it stands I can see nothing to support an abduction besides the claims of the McCanns’ and their friends - people who’s stories seem to change more often than the wind and who, quite frankly, I see no reason to believe without third party confirmation.
