277 Stevo, I certainly agree that the actions of the parents are suspicious and confusing at times. But if they handed her over, would they really have started the website and gone and seen the pope etc.?
Could they not just have put her up for adoption?
Blunger, surely if only a few were involved in a death and cover up, they would appear strange to their other friends.

276 Firestar, it is of course possible that the Tapas 9 all have something to hide, but surely not that probable. I think when theories start requiring other lurid theories to stand, you should most likely dismiss them.
I would go with Blunger in that I think that many theories are possible. But for all the Tapas 9 to know, they really would have to be up to something seriously wrong to guarantee their silence. If this were the case, I suspect this would be uncovered during the inquiry.

Look at the video and notice she was wearing trousers. Any blood would be mopped up by the trousers. But look closely and you see she falls very slightly on her hands. The man doing the video says “are you alright?” So, unless there was another incident and this is the “cut leg” incident referred to by the McCanns then it is sheer bullshit.

I lived in taditional southern spain- Andalucia- for a couple of years. The parents took kids out with them until really late at night. If necessary they slept in their push chairs. There is absolutely no need for the negligence, I imagine that there were plenty of kids in the tapas bar where they were eating- even at that time - it wasn’t that late. Southern Europeans love children are child friendly and would be happy you brought your kids with you.

If the body-hiding occurred, the key is to decide on the motive. Why was an autopsy to be prevented at all costs ?
One explanation is the presence of unacceptable sedation. This could have involved one of the other doctors, and provided him/her with the motive to assist in a coverup.
I think that involvement all of the Tapas9 families is much less likely (it would imply they were all using the same sedative). Assuming it doesn’t seem necessary - the help of one pair, or one person, would probably suffice.

I feel that the lack of emotions by the parents is one of the most significant aspects of the whole case. Outward emotions are shown by the grandparents but to remain so cool and calm and have that icy demeanour seems to indicate that the parents know she’s safe and sound. The likely explanation is that she was given away. There are a few clues in the interviews from the things they say that would indicate they know she’s alive and unlikely if impossible to find.
Any kind of killing would be likely to produce some tell-tale signs in their interviews. The way they conduct interviews, they are emotionless and self-assured. I think Madeleine wasn’t “good enough” for their parents and as it’s illegal to sell a child and to give one away would be too embarassing for the parents, they probably concocted the abduction story as a cover up. The trouble is, the story has taken on a life of its own and become like a cancer that has grown too large for them to know what to do about it. I mean…if you really know your daughter is alive but you can’t tell the real story and now you’re facing a murder charge, you’d hire the most expensive lawyers to defend yourself wouldn’t you? I mean…you’d be shit scared because this thing has mushroomed out of control.

What blood? To date, I have seen nothing but rumour and speculation about their being any confirmed blood found anywhere. I could be wrong of course so If you have a link , I would appreciate it.
