She told police she had seen a man carrying child dashing from the Ocean Club resort in the direction of Robert Murat’s home. The new witness says he saw no-one.

I wouldn’t slag off any parent for leaving their kid at a kid’s club. That’s what they’re there for. That’s why I can’t comprehend the McCann’s behaviour. If they are of the mentality to leave their kids there during the day when it’s safer, then why not use a service in the evening when you know you’d get a lot of stick for doing so? It makes no sense.
As for the other parents, why would they want to keep a low profile? If I had left my kids at a kid’s club and saw the McCanns, I’d be first to call up the Mirror or the Sun and get some money for selling my (100% truthful) story to corroborate the McCann’s story.

I have never (knowingly) met a member or ex-member of the SAS. They are a secretive lot by definition. I do however know an ex Royal Marine who I know for a fact was seconded to the Special Boat Squadron for a short while. The SBS are like the SAS but better because they don’t get their feet wet… not my line but theirs - think about it. Anyway, I reckon that a real SAS person would shoot the whole of the wretched McCannClan on sight knowing about their child abuse activities. If they have hired anyone it will be some fat thugs who are probably part of the McCann’s favourite paedo/swingers/drugs/alcholics ring. True SAS do have principles, I believe.

734 You are re-pasting something from the real stig.
As far as I can see, the quotation from the PJ has no bearing on the statement that “This is a lie cooked up by the Portugese leak”.
In the absence of any firm data, we have no way of knowing whether the McCanns did or did not refuse to answer any questions.
Any supposed data comes from leaks from one side or the other, and is therefore immediately suspect.

Well if you were one of those parents and you had read all the negative comments about what people here generally think about parents who “park” their children in the kids club while they do something else - would you own up or keep your head down?
You can’t slag of the McCanns for doing something and expect other people who have done likewise to stick their heads above the parapet.
It would be nice to see though.

Has anyone considered that the “ex-SAS” mob are really there to protect the fragrant couple and the whole of their coven from assassination or, preferably, extreme mutilation?
Not that I would ever consider such a thing if on a shooting trip they happened to be in the way as I accidentally fell over on the steps getting onto the plane and scratching my knee…

They have NOT refused to answer questions. This is a lie cooked up by the Portuguese leak. Here, verbatim, is what the judge who reviewed the evidence presented to him by the PJ said.
“Since the police have not collected any elements of proof after the parents became arguidos on September 7 that justifies any new actions, I have not requested any new interviews.”

643 Stig. I am confused. The judge would have said this after the McCanns had been questioned by the PJ. Right? So as arguidos I know that they are not obliged to answer any questions. Bit like taking the 5th Amendment in the States, I believe.
So MY reading of what the judge said was that they would not be re-interviewing the McCanns in the foreseeable future because they would not have any new questions to ask them.
That surely is a very different interpretation to ‘they answered all the questions they were initially asked’. Also, if they had answered all the questions that the PJ asked I am sure that the McCann PR Team would be let us know loud and clear.
I would love other people’s reading of this.

Am I correct in stating that the sniffer dogs on May 3/4 followed Madeleines scent to the supermarket?
If I am it would explain why Tanner would have seen an abductor go past her ie also past Wilkins and GM.
If as now appears Tanner states that the abductor went towards Murat’s house the scent would have gone east rather than south towards the supermarket, church and the beach.

The article you give a link to is hardly something I’d call credible but allowing some latitude for a moment - how about this comment in it:
“Madeleine had spent the day at a kids’ club near the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal, swimming, face-painting and colouring-in with other children.”
Just where are the parents of these other kids at the club who had their faces painted etc?
This is exactly why the stories are a load of baloney. If there were so many other kids doing the same as Madeleine don’t you think the parents of those kids would be talking to newspapers? They wouldn’t be bound by any secrecy laws. And, I’m not talking about the Tapas 9 - I mean other families staying at the Mark Warner complex or even at other places nearby. How come we never hear from anyone else?
