“SUSPICIOUS the trip was postponed from the day before – because Gerry had intestinal problems.
“’STRANGE’” that the couple from Rothley, Leics, chose to visit Spain on a national holiday, when the shops were shut.
“MYSTERIOUS that the McCanns racked up ‘unjustified mileage’ in their Renault Scenic – hired 25 days after Maddie disappeared.”
A source says a new ad campaign to find Madeleine will start in two weeks.
DAILY MAIL page 3: “Police use CCTV to map McCanns trips.”
As newspaper Correio de Manha reports, Spanish police have given their Portuguese counterparts CCTV footage “showing the Renault Scenic in places in Spain where there was ‘no reason’ for the couple to be.”
A TV series based on Madeleine McCann is being produced in Chile. Says Chilean newspaper El Mercurio: “The case is becoming a soap opera.”
DAILY MIRROR front page: “KATE IS SO FRAGILE. Fears for mum after latest blow.”
Kate McCann’s face is all over the front page. “The anguish is plain to see.” A friend hears that Madeleine had not been found in Morocco: “Kate is so fragile. She’s suffering a devastating disappointment.”

WHY only in two weeks time? And pray tell, what more could there be to advertise? These people are just beyond belief, they have no real intention of finding their daughter … and they are just adding fuel to the fire every time a “source” leaks something new!
Madeleine needs to be found, so that an end can come to this horrific story, and this child can receive the justice that she deserves.
Mr & Mrs Mc need to get out of their little cocoons and realise that this whole saga is NOT about them, it’s about their little girl that they let down so badly! They need to jump off their self-pity wagon and come clean!

another weird one. I’ve seen dozens of character quotes from friends of the McCanns. Over and over and over again. If you anti-McCann types had seen them, you’d just chalk it all up (sarcastically) to Team McCann. These people can’t win either way! Sheesh!

There’s a lot of facts out there but sadly the Moderations and the Marias choose to only see what they want to see.
Likewise the McCanns. Show Gerry and Kate a fact and ask them to explain it and he throws a tantrum and walks off! Either that or they say it’s “ludicrous”.

Thanks for being sensible and understanding about what we were talking about in here. Not all folk in here are obnoxious and it’s a pleasure swapping stories and opinions on the same thread - the disappearance of Madeleine.
You’re right. I can’t remember more than a couple of friends coming forward. I’m a bit surprised by that. Normally, a ton of people come forward in these situations. Look at Rhys in Liverpool. It was like the whole city came out in force for that poor family. Considering Liverpudlians come together at times of need like no other city in the UK, I’m also surprised that we haven’t heard much from Liverpool on this as Kate is from there.

Despite the oracle ‘Moderation’ saying that the ‘only known fact is that Madeleine is missing’ (with which you agree)it isn’t “the absolutely only known fact”.Isn’t it a ‘fact’ that the McCanns left their three children alone in the apartment on the night of May 3rd?. And if they’re being “secretive” as you claim, about what they are doing “in order not to alert anyone who was holding her”,the last thing they needed to do - and it is a fact they did it - is to tell the world and its kidnappers that she had an a very unusual stigmatism in her right eye which everyone should look out for. They didn’t just “keep Madeleine in the public eye” they kept Madeleine’s eye public” making her too hot to handle.
You say the police should have had the McCanns “under constant surveillance” on the day they went to Huelva in Spain (which was a day later than planned so they - apparently - had very few hangers-on). How do you know that the police didn’t have them under “constant surveillance”? You weren’t there. I imagine, from what I’ve read and from my life experience (because I wasn’t there either) that they did have them under surveillance both satellite and possibly a bug in their car. They are not checking out that area just for the hell of it, or because they’re running out of ideas. Police don’t work like that.
If I were the McCanns I would be quite afraid, and I think that is what they are. The rest is spin and hot air.

Anyone else who thinks that might be stuck with a NPD-er - below is a good place to start and includes messageboards. You might find a kindred spirit and then can communicate one-to-one, At one stage I almost began to think NPD-ers must have some kind of telepathic communication because so many follow the same behavioural traits and say virtually the same things.
The thing to remember is that they can seem really, really normal – even fine,upstanding folk, to many people most of the time. You get the dishevelled, disorganised types (often those whose victims have escaped and whose NPD has been exposed ). However, most can hold down important jobs, but God help the one or two people in their lives where they let the mask slip.

Hi there all!
Stevo, on the subject of friends of the McCann’s … I must say I’ve only noticed two people coming forward to say what great people the McCann’s are. Didn’t the Mc’s have friends? Or is it a case of not all their friends think that they’re such great people, and have their doubts as to what happened to Madeleine. If this is the case, I doubt wether they’re going to come out into the open and tell the world what the Mc’s are truly like, I mean this pair of child neglecters have 4 very powerful lawyers, Sir Richard and practically the entire British government backing them! If they were my “friends” I’d rather just keep my mouth shut if I was placed in a situation like this … although I don’t think I’d be going over for tea anymore!

I’ve never felt Kate is narcissistic. I have Gerry though. Talking about NPD is something I seldom do unless the person I’m talking to understands it. It’s too complicated to discuss unless the person has experience of it. Normally though, you have a sixth sense that tells you the person is an ‘N’. It IS applicable when talking about Kate and Gerry and Carmen should respect the way the conversation in here went…briefly.

Another thing to look for in the 100 day interview:
The same expression/smile appears twice on KM’s face in two different sections of the interview. The first time after exonerating herself of leaving the child alone, the second when contemplating the answer about what she would tell Madeleine if she could hear her.
Something else. The same fixed look is given by KM to the camera in two sections. Once at the very end, can’t remember exactly when the other was given. Same intentional look.
She’s hard to read. The point was made by someone else and I think it was right on, the normal response to the question would be to look straight into the camera since Madeleine would be out there somewhere and answer the question. Instead, it was a response that made Madeleine seem like she was only in her heart.
Maybe it takes being a mother to notice these things.

773. James thanks for sharing - it must be very tough on you. It’s weird that as soon as I heard Gerry speak I also got a really weird and ominous feeling and at first I didn’t know why. Like you I thought it was just me. Then he made some contradictory statements and the NPD bells started ringing.
A lot of people on Anorak seem to feel Kate is the full blown narcissist but I don’t get that impression at all. Not sure though. They are so very clever.
