Maisie exited the room and was wandering around looking for her parents. Presumably she had been woken by the fireworks.”

   100ft from their sleeping children! Well, I guess they were closer than the Tapas 9 were to their kids. Perhaps the Adams Family have a smaller garden (100ft) than the McCanns - do all holiday makers use the size of their garden as a unit of measuring a reasonable distance from sleeping children?

   I think it was The McNotts who mentioned child of a friend who had bumped their head badly - no bleeding - but the child had a concussion. It was serious and they ended up in the hospital with a coma but pulled through.

   I also know similar stories 2 separate people - both teenagers - who hit their heads and had concussions - no bleeding. They then had comas and eventually came out of it and are pefectly fine now.

   I know a third teenager who wasn’t so lucky. He was struck to the ground by a slow moving car. He got home complaining of a headache and his parents weren’t very concerned and he went to sleep. While he slept he went into convulsions, bleeding from both the nose and mouth. His parents did not realise he was sick until several hours later. They brought him to the hospital but died a few weeks later.

   I think the scenario that Madeleine woke up scared and walked outside looking for her parents is completely possible. That she may have stumbled and hit her head is completey possible. That she was either found outside the McCann’s apartment and carried back inside or if she just got up and went back in and fell asleep - completely possible. That she had a concussion far more serious than anyone guessed (or even knew of) and became violently sick while sleeping and was asphyxiated - all possible.

   It is possible that there would not be any great amount of blood on the cement steps but maybe some very minute DNA from her fall. If the other DNA reports are true that her blood was found in her room might make sense with a child with a concussion bleeding from the mouth, nose or from a head injury.

   If my rational and diplomatic response to you was “ad nauseum” I kindly suggest you re-read your own messages which continually harp on your hatred of Anorak posters. Or please look up the phrase “ad nauseum”.

   Also, I have never said, “I hate the McCanns.” And neither have plenty of others who find their story questionable and their actions nefarious. If hate is so ugly then why is it permissable for you to hate people making comments on Anorak - people you do not know.

   The very same complaint you throw in our faces in regards to how you imagine we speak about the McCanns. Everyone on Anorak has their own personality and their own ideas. Again, not everyone is foaming at the mouth and screaming “Hang them!”

   Even more reason to ignore there reports. First she was abducted and the parents were never suspects. The Brits get involved, Sousa resigns because they dumped her after taking sedatives, Kate got in a rage and hit her, now she fell down stairs wandering the streets in her pyjama’s. If it wasn’t for the inconsistencies, inaccuracies and reaction to everything, I’d be starting believe their innocent. What next. She’s working down the chippy?

    What KM should say.

    She should call Skid news and tell them she’d like to release a press conference at a certain time and then get their 30 mins before, so that they can announce it.

    In the statement she needs to clarify the positions of each player in the affair.

    Firstly, she tell the press to disregard any statements made to the press on her or GM’s behalf and only statements by CM are ratified from her. Secondly, she should tell the press that the timelines of the events leading up to Madeleine’s disappearance have been given to the PJ and any variations are mythical. She has nothing to lose by saying that. She should also clarify why and how the current predicament has arisen is due to the PJ. This being because they failed to treat scenes of crime correctly which quite rightly horrified the UK police as they said that any evidence could have been covered up. They suggested that the PJ look for traces of evidence. Undetermined but Identifiable evidence has been found but the PJ have naively seen this as evidence of guilt because they believe they missed vital evidence at the beginnings of the case and are trying to unfairly make up for something that has not happened. She should lament about the good times they had together and give insight into what type of child she is.

    She should not answer questions because whatever she says or does will lead to her looking guilty.

    Do none of you care about the welfare of children? None of the 9 of you? Was the subject even spoken about? Did it dawn on any of you that you were playing Russian Roulette with three young children? That unspeakable things could be done to them without them able to defend themselves, this never entered your heads? All nine? Even the Aunt and Grandparent?
    Why did two “intelligent” males visit the apartment not 5 mins apart and neither see Madeleine or question it at the time?
    Were GM and OB ever away together? If OB was missing at 9 and GM was at the apartment at 9.05, then would they not pass each other?
    Why are the group providing evidence to the press not given to the authorities, 110-150 days after her disappearance on bad news days?
    What is this achieving?
    Why are you encouraged by the the Morocco siting when you are aware that CM fielded the photo and it was disregarded immediately by the PJ, through bone structure etc and confirmed in a matter of hours. Why did they see it in your little daughter and not you? Why would this encourage you?
    Was the time settings on the camera really stuck?
    Did you see Madeleine after this time?
    Did you sedate any of your children?
    Why did you take cuddle cat to work?
    How did Madeleine come into contact?
    Do you really believe that an intruder would steal your daughter and then leave through a window? Surely an intruder brazen enough would have left through the front door?
    If he left through the window how come Tanner saw him 5 mins after GM was in there? Maybe 3 mins after he left? In GM’s direction?

    I respectfully disagree.

    Their campagin strategy is not brilliant because they are doing same-old, same-old and it hasn’t worked. A “brilliant” campaign would involve making other missing children who have disappeared from Portugal, North Africa and Spain known to the public in equal space and time along with Madeleine.

    If she was abducted by a black-market child adoption agency or a paedophile ring then searching for several missing children, not just Madeleine, will bring them much closer to the answers they need plus it would accelerate the search I am certain. This is of course if the McCann abduction theory is true. For if it is true than the same perpetrators who snatched Madeleine have also kidnapped other children.

    When I first came to this forum, I was on the fence about whether the McCanns were guilty, but was quite certain all the theorizing going on was bad news and really hurtful. After weeks and weeks of reading all these theories about what happened to Madeleine, most of them focusing on how & why the parents killed her and covered it up, I actually am getting close to convinced the McCanns are entirely innocent. NONE of what you guys are saying makes any sense whatsoever. It just doesn’t WORK. Plus, do you see how quickly everyone has JUMPED at this obviously FAKE and FALSE leak about the stairs?     It is true that someone who has NPD will often use tragic events in their lives to make themselves the center of attention (as I believe you know from first han experience).

    However, it does seem, even if the their abduction theory is true, that they are hiding something. Maybe they are hiding something which isn’t related to Madeleine at all?

    Of course I do not know but as you said it is a very mysterious case and nothing adds up.

    The only forgiveness which really matters is Madeleine’s. From what I know of children she most likely has forgiven them for that is one of the great virtures of children - their ability to unconditionally forgive and go on loving. And maybe this is enough. Unfortunately, we are not children. And this case has several layers which are disgusting, intriguing and mysterious. It is very normal for a society to discuss a high profile case and yes to even place blame on those closest to the victim.

    I am not a religious person but instead see what the McCanns did as an affront to society. Any person, any child is not property of the parents imho. We are all responsible for one another. In my view, what the McCanns did was to forgo common sense and basic - very basic care for a child to go out drinking. Bad decisions like the McCanns’ effect everyone in the end - although Madeleine pays the ultimate price. There may no way to right the wrongs of the McCanns even if she is found alive. I hope she is found alive and well I truly do.

    But anyway, discussing the possibilities of what happened is not a crime. It is human nature and has been going on since the first sin or crime was ever committed. We are doing the very same, albeit from a far distance, as the detectives and police officers. There is no shame in this. Most of the Anorak posters who feel the McCanns may be even more responsible than parental neglect would love to be wrong. I myself have made this comment on many occasions on these boards.

    This is not “parent bashing”. It is a group of people, no different than peopel discussing this case at work or at the neighborhood pub, trying to make sense of a very non-sensical scenario and very very odd acting parents of a missing child.
