I’ve never been able to fathom out an accident in a couple of hours from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. I can’t see how you could do that calmly and go about as if nothing happened. I can see how an accident could occur earlier in the day - possibly unbeknown to Gerry and then there’d be more time to compose yourself and come up with a plan. I don’t know…I’m guessing like the rest of us.

FREE INSURANCE AGAINST CHILDREN GOING MISSING ON HOLIDAY
Insurance company InsureandGo has announced that it is to offer insurance cover if a child goes missing abroad for more than 24 hours after it has been reported to the police as standard on all its policies. The policy will cover all children up to the age of 18 and will pay out a maximum of £110,000 to cover the costs of accommodation, translators and for any media activity required to help find the child.
Perry Wilson, Managing Director of InsureandGo, said: “We pride ourselves in our ability to give our customers peace of mind when they go away. After the disappearance of Madeleine McCann we had a number of calls from concerned parents enquiring what support they would receive from their travel insurance company if their child went missing whilst on holiday. At the moment this may not be covered in some instances so we decided to add it to all of our travel insurance policies for free.”
In the UK alone, up to 400 children under the age of 14 and around 950 children aged between 14 and 17 are reported missing to the Police National Missing Persons Bureau(1) every year. Furthermore, one in nine young people run away at least once before the age of 16(2).
Perry Wilson continued: “Previously we have demonstrated our ability to react to changing conditions in the holiday market. For example when terrorist attacks became a major worry for our customers we ensured that our policy cover matched their concerns. Also when the tightening of security meant hand baggage had to be put in the hold we were the first company to authorise payments on these claims. This is another example of us putting our customers at the heart of our business.”

It’s extremely rare or impossible to insure your kids with life insurance. Normally you can only insure children for accidents with a small token life amount on there. I know my insurance agent told me that when I wanted to get insurance for my kids. The reason he told me was because if they gave normal coverage amounts for kids, there’d be more parents bumping off their kids. The policy I got insured for accidents…broken limbs etc. but only had about a £5000 life coverage.

I am a skeptic of psychics that tell the McCanns their daughter is:
a. alive
or
b. been abducted
Why? Because I am also a psychic - only this means I have the same abillity as anyone else here on this forum - we all have the ability to remote view - just some of us don’t use it - nothing special about being psychic - all dogs are psychic - have you ever noticed how your dog knows Daddy is coming home when his car is a few streets away?
Think of the time and place this event took place - fly there by brain - almost like using google earth - open your mind to any possibility and write down what you see - if you see what I see - you too can laugh at the ‘psychics’ who ask for money from the McCanns to give credulance to their unplausible stories.
This is yet another PR stunt.
Why not use hypnotism - only instead of Paul McKenna they will probably pay Paul McCann to agree with their unplausible stories…ha ha ha!!!!

Is it fair that anyone can come onto this forum and attack the Mcanns in every and any aspect that they choose and when I put forward a case against the police investigation team that it is ‘awaiting moderation’
If I said equally libelous things about the Mcanns based on what has previously been posted then I am sure that my comment would not be in this transient phase of which the same courtesty is not extended to the Mcanns.
If my posting is witheld I will assume that your bias is towards the smear campaign against the Mcanns and indeed not based on general and complete public opinion, in which case I would have no further communication with your site. Posted 2/10/07 14.35

That story ties in with what I’ve been saying all along. I said months ago that Madeleine was most likely not in the room that evening. I’ve always believed she went missing in the afternoon before they went out. It’s the only way they could have composed themselves enough to concoct the abduction story (assuming the McCann abduction story is a hoax).

Holiday insurance? Doesn’t that usually cover you if die, or perhaps, go missing? Some policies cover each family member up to £1,000,000 but I would assume a body would needed.
Not sure if any insurance policy would pay out in these circumstances.

Olegario da Sousa left the investigation team because he didnt agree with the way the McCanns were treated - However there is suggestions that the portuguese secrecy law is going to be at least partially abolished - so we will learn more about what the PJ has done and not done.
Madeleine urgently needs a competent police investigation to find her hopefully alive but found she must be to prevent this re occuring and the perpetrator free to commit similar crimes.
It seems the police officers who benefit from the secrecy laws are Amaral and company - It is vital that there is a new team of Police investigators!
The lawyer of Joanna Ciprianos mother has fortunately already passed all the legal institution steps in Portugal and is about or has already made an appeal to the comission of human rights of the European Community.
So Mister Amaral is accused not only in Portugal, but in Brussel! And her case is now gone to a higher authority.
Several Officers of the Policia Judiciara, including Mister Gonzales Amaral, are accused of falsification of evidence and torture whilst investigating the disappearence of Joanna Cipriano.
therefore not only is an inquiry is engaged against these officers in Portugal, also the accusations have been brought to the Attention of the European comission of human rights.
The very same officers are still actively investigating in Madeleine Mcanns current case. This alone is an untenable situation for a lawfull constitutional state. And the so called police leaks are inhumane and unlawful as they try to make their wild theories become fact and are so changable on an alomost daily basis that little credibility is held for them in many quarters.
Some chosen information, which aimed and succeded to cause a witch hunt and preliminary public condemnation of Mister and Misses McCann, have been released by the Policia Judiciara and this continues unlawfully.
What if the assumptions by the PJ are wrong? In the absence of any hard evidence, regardless of how you feel about the Mcanns, How can you positively exclude the very real possibility that we are dealing with corruption and one could speculate even further about the possibility that even the concerned officers are working themselves for paedophile Networks, preventing or retarding a competent investigation and falsifying evidence????
While all this is going on can you in all conscience rely on the reports of these men and leave the welfare of Madeleine to them?
I see no other choice but to ask for an immediate Suspension of the concerned officers from all ongoing investigations and a transition of the investigation for Madeleine McCann without delay into the hands of qualified police officers whose reputation is above any doubts.
