My mum just phoned me from the UK with the express reason to tell me that Amaral has been sacked. So, I got online to read about it and found that he has been taken off the case and demoted to Inspector.
That’s hardly a sacking is it? I suspect the word “sacked” makes the McCanns sound better.

658 - you are still reading things into what I said which I didnt say.
Let me be explicit.
They neglected - without doubt, not an accusation - a fact. I think probably (but not certain, how could I be?) they sedated their children so they could go out for drinkies and larks.
Gerry did show all the signs of lying when asked about the sedation - so that infers he can’t lie well, so he at least is not likely to have harmed or been involved in the hiding of Maddie himself. Also Granny has now said that the abductors must have sedated Maddie - so thats arse covering in case Maddies found dead and tests reveal she had been sedated. So yes I suspect sedation.
Im not sure at all about Kate. She is probably drugged to the eyeballs and thats why she seems strange and nver has a wet face and adds ’she’s lovely’ in that robotic manner.
I think she knew someone was suspicious in the area - hence the cry of ‘they’ - but she couldnt admit that (was persuaded not to by someone - maybe a Doctor who was good with sedatives) to avoid the charge of negligence.
See, no accusation of being part of any killing. OK? Clear enough for you now?

I am saying that there is more leaked evidence pointing to her death than to her abduction.
On the one hand we have smell of death, blood splatter in apt, down the stairs, sedation.
On the abduction side we have Mr. Egg Head.
Top that with the fact that stranger abductions are rare and when a child is murdered it is usually by a trusted family member. It’s not far fetched at all.

643 - Fiona Phillips happens to be a very nice person. Her children go to the same school as the ones my wife looks after. Although she is a TV personality, she is very down to earth and approachable, unlike some TV snobs.
She is entitlesd to her opinion just as are the rest of us.
Anyone remember Lizzy also from GMTV. She was my form tutor at secondray school. She claimed to have worked in a school for delinquent children. It was no such thing. The truth was that it was Maggie Thatcher’s flagship secondary modern school, with 3 schools amalgamating, one from each educational stream. So yes there was an eliment oftroubled children, but all schools have them..

An article in the Times Online had the following response:
“A new religion has emerged in the UK. The McCann
religion with Gerry and Kate McCann the new prophets.
People have so much FAITH in them they are willing to

Well, in answer to your question ‘yes or no’,I would say no. However, we might, just might, be talking of another child mighten we? After all they’re not the first to have naievely trusted the secureness of the MW complex.This abduction IMO was planned. It had to of been, and very carefully as there is no evidence…………or…………she wandered out of the room and was picked up by someone. With the poor performance of the PJ she could of been taken anywhere.

Feel sorry for the Mccanns? FOR THEM!!!!
They failed in their duty of care and their daughter, who looked to them for protection in this dangerous world, has to pay for their failure.
If they had the guts to step forward and say ‘we failed in our duty of care, we will face the legal consequences’ then maybe they would deserve some sympathy. The nearesr they got to that was a mealy mouthed ‘oh if only we had been in the same room as her’.
