I did not state how I judged the veracity or otherwise of where those links lead. And anyway, the site is prison planet, not propaganda matrix. That is just another site linked to at the top of the Prison Planet page.
But the main gist is referring to the dreadful scandal concerning the boys orphanage or do you claim that is just propaganda? The prison planet mention of the scandal was a perfectly reasonable precise I thought. Here is a bit more detail:

AS far as I know you are 100% correct about the right to remain silent. However, I don’t think Gerry was officially named arguido until after he was interviewed? Kate I don’t know. But your thoughts are interesting ones.
Andy posted several links to sites which explain Portuguese law but I forgot to save them. Maybe if he is around this evening he either knows the answer or can repost those links?

I am new - and found Anorak while I was checking news updates on Madeleine’s disappearance.
I was prompted to sign up having read comments about the McCanns not anwering questions.
Let me know if I am mistaken…the two were interrogated AFTER being declared arguidos. The advantage of being an arguido is that you don’t have to answer anything…the old “right to remain silent”.
I believe Kate had a lawyer with her - and I sure wouldn’t be answering questions put to me in a foreign country.
Now that the chief investigator has been sacked, I feel more strongly about this.
Maddy? I think she is likely dead. If alive, in a horrid situation.
Whatever the case, I hope she is found so the truth can be known.

I think the McCann spokesperson has said today that they cannot comment on the matter of Amaral. They have made no reference to “brutality” or “ineptitude”.

4,000 pages of documents related to the investigation were turned over for review by the judiciary. The judge did NOT dismiss the case and is allowing it to go forward. He stated that AT THIS TIME, there was no need to reinterview the parents, as there was no further evidence since the time they were interviewed last.
Simply because the police has not issued formal documents and statements regarding evidence does not mean they do not have any.

with this limelight about maddy do you think a clever abductor who did not even leave traces of his presence could walk about with maddy knowing she can be easily recognised. i think they must be keeping her in the house until this limelight dies down. after all this long i would assume maddy ’s hair has grown now to miss identification or maybe they have dyed it as everyone seems to be looking for a blonde girl. i think the mccanns might use excuse of being catholics to avoid being told the truth by a psychic.

Yes, but their are also ‘rumours’ of highly placed paedophile rings in our ‘virtuous’ Great Britain that if brought into the public arena in the way these ‘rumours’ surrounding the pj could also prove embarassing in the circumstances…..it depends on how you wish to slant the debate. I still think it is a red herring and designed to detract from all the questions people have concerning the Mccanns….these other distractions make me question more and more the circumstances of the Madeleine case

In Sydney, Australia, authorities tried piping Barry Manilow tunes loudly in areas where teens hung out, to discourage loitering. It may have been successful, but residents in the surrounding area weren’t pleased with the noise. I suspect this method was abandoned. Last year or so, I read that it was tried somewhere in the UK but can’t locate the article. Here’s the one from Australia:

I would actually welcome links to those articles please. I don’t actually like making allegations about the PJ - I would much rather there was no taint and they were all obviously above board. I thought quite highly of the spokesman I referred to earlier as jumping ship because he smelt a rat, I thought he was a good bloke and was genuinely sorry to see him depart the case.

712 - psychic prediction etc, sorry, but I cannot beleive this is a true psychic. I read through the so called messages from madeleine, and found it quite disturbing. then i reached a part that said ‘diaper’. in my opinion, being a british child she would almost definately have said ‘nappy’ not ‘diaper’. i now find it sad that someone could actually write such sad statements that are clearly untrue. some kind of warped mind methinks!
